I sat bored within my clearing watching as the world flowed with extreme slowness,

The reason? I was simply taking advantage of my brain's processing speed, if I do not purposely slow it down the world seems to slow down.

Currently, I am thinking of what I want to do, it has been three weeks since I came to this island,

Tests with the hunters Bore fruit, it seemed that after a threshold is passed their body make the other two crystal organs, it's a process that I am yet to comprehend but seem only beneficial,

And so I proceeded with making some things

A bio-worm, a creature made with the sole purpose of growing and accumulating biomass,

The bio worms start as one-inch worms that are released into the earth where they eat dirt and absorb any and all nutrients buried deep underground, far deeper than the tree roots can reach, 

I then found out that the earth around this island is extremely rich in minerals and precious rocks, especially rubies and gold.

And so I collected as much as I found, in the hope that when I leave this island and move into society I can use them to gain capital,

The bio worms were given crystals in the hope that after they pass that threshold and grow more of the crystal organs I can harvest them along with the biomass.

The second thing I built was a swarm mother for hunters. 

I call it a mother but it is more like a factory that assembles hunters with high efficiency.

I added full crystal organs into it in the hopes that somehow the newly born hunters will have crystal organs of their own.

It did not work initially, which I expected, but after a week suddenly it changed and now gave birth to hunters with a crystal only.

I tried to understand how those crystals were created only to be left confused, part of the crystal of the mother broke off and was placed within the hunter, despite that all earlier attempts to break the crystals failed almost as if it was indestructible, the broken-off, the piece grew quickly into a full crystal while the crystal of the mother slowly healed.

Currently, the hunters' number two hundred strong, the original hunter is now their leader, moving around in a pack of 6 hunters, this group regularly over-performs bringing in triple what a group of the same number brings.

The worm and the mother work in tandem, with the worm bringing biomass and the mother working that biomass into hunters,

The biomass is also used in my tests and my own personal projects. Such as growing and upgrading my territory within this island, currently, all the trees in my territory have a crystal, crystal eyes like those of my body, Ballistas inspired by my crossbow, and a mind that handles the targeting system, connections between each tree, all of this allowed the trees to act like precise artillery, destroying any and all beasts that make it past the hunters, the tree network is constantly expanding, growing closer and closer to the volcano at the Center of the island, that has been growing more and more active as the days pass.

All that does not change the fact that I am dying of boredom and loneliness, the hunters are nice but they are like a bunch of puppies, they help but not even close to what human companionship can do,

I am beginning to feel more and more lonely as the days pass, I do not think I will remain on this island much longer.

Just going to check the volcano and leave this island, I had enough.

Wait..........Why don't I leave now? ..........Why do I want to visit the volcano so much?

Something smells very fishy right now, almost like I am being pushed to do this, 

I think I know who it is but I don't think they will be willing to stop even if I asked nicely  

And so with a sigh, I began moving towards the volcano, hoping I can get this done and over with, so I can leave this cursed island and move on with my life
