I picked up the phone quickly and accepted the call.

“Hello!? Can you hear me Amos.” Cain said in a nervous tone.

“Yes I can hear you, what's happening, you seem worried?” I said quickly in response to his question.

“Remember how I told you to train for five years before starting my plan?” Cain said quickly slurring some of his words.

“Yes, what about it?”

“We’re going to have to cut that short,”

“Huh, For what reason?!” I said in a daze.

“I was alerted by my other members, villain groups of interest have started moving.”

Other members, does this mean I wasn’t the only one sent here?

“ Does that mean I wasn’t the only one sent here?”

“There are other members of the group, you’ll be meeting up with them soon.” 

“Alright, so how long do I have?”

“About 3 months.”

“Okay, when is the meeting?”

“Sorry I don’t have that information right now, I’ll be contacted when the time is picked.”

“It's fine, is that all you wanted to tell me?”

“Yes, but before I go, new supplies and some extra gear will arrive soon with new instructions.”

“Alright got it.”

“Click”

I feel bad, but he should be fine, Cains a god after all, I guess I’ll train until the new equipment arrives.

*Two days later*

Recently started training on the unnamed book, the techniques are quite hard, but I think if I keep at it, I can get the basics done by the end of the 3 months.

I haven’t been contacted for the meeting yet, but it was hinted that it would be soon, I haven’t received my equipment either.

As more time passes the more boring it gets around here, maybe the cut in time I have to train is a blessing.

“Alright, one more set than I’ll head to bed”

“Huh, my equipment is here!”
