Lex's counter attack was swift and sudden.

They waited two days for Jasmine to grow back to her proper age as they attacked with full fury

The Olympus Guild elites and their top rankers at the main headquarters in LA had their hands full with a now fully grown and more powerful Jasmine,  as well as 50 Annas and a indestructible shapeshifting Heather.

While they were occupied, Lex led thousands of powerful shadow clones, he raiding the Olympus Guild HQs in San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco. 

Thousands of enslaved hunters had their collars removed within the same hour as Lex mass released them while teleporting between cities through the shadows. Lex didn't try to liberate the LA ones as the leadership might have gotten a hint what their real intentions were!

Of  course all these releases were livestreamed on the internet on many platforms, without the elites of the Olympus Guild being the wiser.

Jasmine, Anna and Heather managed to kill many of the top Rankers of the Olympus Guild, however their remaining leaders Athena and Dionysus managed to escape, or were never there.

Ares however, was killed by several Annas, who skewered him mercilessly through his mouth and ass, effectively killing him in the most humiliating way. 

Their large campus sized HQ was massively damaged and they had lost alot of prestige and much of their manpower. 

Overnight, they lost over 70% of their hunters, many enslaved newer hunters, as well as killing many of their higher ranked B and C Ranks!

The Olympus Guild tried to hide and coverup their enslavement in the media, but the media especially everywhere besides LA, could not hide the fact that thousands of hunters and their families were furious and had demanded answers from the guild as well as the government, who were openly and proudly working together with the Olympians.

"Those fuckers! How can one man make such a massive difference?? And how the hell is there so many Sword Princesses, and how is it they can use lightning and ice powers?" Dionysus banged a table in their secret hiding place

"I told you that Shadow King is bad news! He's a one man army! He's the one who conquered the tower 5 times!" Athena said

"So what is our plan of action?" Dionysus asked confidently. They were not the type to lie down and die after a setback 

"Now? Now we have to lay low for a while. We have plenty of money and Gate resources stashed all over the country. Let them think they've won.

We rebuild in another state with a tower, get more A Ranks or higher.

We start another guild under different names and restart... or better yet, take over another guild!" Athena schemed openly

"Good. How is the captive that you captured in their attack?" Dionysus asked

"The slave collar is already on her. I will be conducting experiments personally on her soon, to see what secrets she holds" Dionysus said

A press conference was being held in the aftermath of the counter-attack.

The media outlets waited with baited breath as a group of people walked on stage.

A person wearing a cloak with his face covered led the way, followed by Jasmine, Anna, Heather, Marisa, Phoebe, Mona and Teddy walked on the stage. Isla declined to join them as she was going to be due soon for her baby's delivery.

"I am known as the Shadow King. I am the leader of this newly formed Guild, the Revengers! And these are my teammates Power Princess, Sword Princess, Elastiwoman, Sorceress, Gladiatress, Animagus and Aragorn.

We will be taking over and picking up the slack from the now disbanded and disgraced Olympus Guild.

We won't be taking over the administration of Hunters, as we believe the Hunters Association will be reopening their headquarters back in the 4 cities. 

That will be all. Any questions?" Lex said in a ghostly

"What do you say about the rumors that you are Alex Marshall, aka Captain Cuck?" 

"Why is that monster a member of the guild. Isn't it dangerous?"

"Any truth that you are the former detective with the police force Heather Bluise?"

 "Seriously, are they real reporters? They seemed more interested in tabloid gossip than about the press conference" Anna complained

"That is probably the goal. Many of the media outlets are still controlled by the elite Olympians. They want to distract from the message and flood the news with unimportant and inane matters" Heather said

"I still dislike the name Revengers. I think my suggestion of Champions of the Tower sounds better" Jasmine said

"I think we agreed to be more inclusive, since we might bring in more hunters in the future. Without a tower, the future hunters will all come from Gate awakenings, unless they come from the other towers" Heather said

"Hey, I'm curious. Who is under there?" Marisa asked, looking at Lex.

"It's not me. I'm here" Heather said

"It can't be Yasmeen right? Her body shape and size will surely have been a giveaway" Phoebe said

"I did think of a few options. I can't use the shadow clones since I can't take over their bodies or speak through them. I was also thinking of using mannequins, but most of them don't move. So this is what I used" Lex said, removing his cloak

Even without his cloak, his face was featureless, covered with shadow. This is how the Shadow King looked before too. 

He removed the shadow and to the shock to most of them, it was a male sex doll!

"Hey, it has movable limbs and fingers where I can manipulate freely" Lex said

"Is it anatomically... uh.. correct?" Heather asked

Both Anna and Jasmine blushed

"The doll has detachable parts" Lex answered. 

"Then how can you speak? I'm sure the sex doll does not have a voicebox" Mona asked

"I've been practicing. Anything that is not physical, like space, shadows, even sound now, I can manipulate. Perhaps this is how ghosts talk" Lex said as he threw his voice and they heard him move around and through them, even then the sex doll was moving its mouth.

"You could have used me, you know. Then you wouldn't look and sound so scary" Heather said

"Maybe next time. Today, we needed everyone on stage to introduce you" Lex said

With the Olympus Guild gone, a desperate need appeared in the 4 cities of LA, San Diego, San Jose and San Francisco for hunters as more gates started opening.
