"I think that's everything, let me check just in case."

Oversized sack for carrying way too much stuff, check, huge supply of colorful silks, check, bunch of pots filled with everything I could find in this cave all covered with crystal lids held in place with silk cloths, check. I dissected that Darkling corpse right... where is it? These pots, ok, one for fleshy bits, and bone, and one for blood, that thing had soooo much blood. How much fountain powder did I manage to collect? Enough to fill a whole pot is how much. I also have a ton of mana water and white phosphorus, properly stored I think, and an entire pot full of plant alcohol for... research purposes.

"Yup, that's everything!"

And now to open that door and get out of here.

"Ohhhh, floor wide achievements, damn I lost 25 lives because of a few dumb deaths, well, 12 actually since someone did it first."

Would you like to add your name to the [Scoreboard]?

YES | NO

"Nah, It's just a tutorial, kinda lame if you as me."

[Scoreboard {Temporary}]

  1. Anonymous (You) - 63,000
  2. Anonymous - 62,000
  3. The Mechanist - 60,000
  4. Eleanore Archlight - 59,000
  5. Anonymous - 56,000

"Guess it only shows the top 5, also I'm WINNING! It's close though, but I don't think anyone else can do better anymore... though maybe I'm wrong about that, also second place is definitely Ele, I totally beat her, I am so rubbing this in when I see her."

Wait, isn't The Mechanist an E.M.A fighter, the hell is he doing playing a game like this, and apparently you can use aliases in game, cool. Seeing Eleanore Archlight in game is worrying though, I didn't even know she played these types of games, not sure how Orion got her in here, wait no, Orion couldn't get an Archlight into a game like this, their companies are competing. This shit just gets weirder and weirder.

Wonder what the scores are about though... is it just the number of true lives you got times 1000? Sure looks like it.

[Scoreboard] placement rewards

  1. Tutorial Points plus 50% or all Tutorial Points converted to a reward of [Traveler]'s choice.
  2. Tutorial Points plus 40%.
  3. Tutorial Points plus 30%.
  4. Tutorial Points plus 20%.
  5. Tutorial Points plus 10%.

"Oh hell yes! I NEED first place now I want a custom Item so bad I wonder what the specifics on how tutorial points are converted are, does an item with more restriction or limits cost less, I would presume so, so if I ask for an item with like a whole quest line attached to it I could probably get something pretty awesome."

All of that is for later anyway, I need to wait for everyone to complete the tutorial first. For now its time to move onto floor two.

Welcome [Traveler] to the [Tutorial] Tower

Difficulty: Impossible     |     Floor: 2     |     Floor Lives: N/A

Description

N/A

Note: please wait until all [Traveler]'s complete the first floor of the [Tutorial].

"Woah... this place is... awesome!"

It's like a gigantic kinda cyberpunk style tower, shops with neon signs line tightly packed streets covered in hotel style tiles, but the shops are all sorts of fantasy standards with alchemist shops, I think I see one named the Bubbling Cauldron by that corner, there's also blacksmiths, and dedicated weapons and armor shops, but at the same time there are shops for clothing that could be found in any mayor city, bog standard bars and restaurants, electronics shops, and... what is THAT!? It's called the Magitech Emporium and is selling all sorts of crazy shit, that looks like a clockwork hand grenade, oh this is SO cool!

"It's decided then, I'm exploring this entire place, but later, I need to find and then mock Ele first, she's probably at whatever passes for an arena in this place, it kinda looks like a tower so maybe it's in a different floor, HEY YOU, the emo looking kid! Where are the elevators in this place?"

"Huh... me? ah, elevators? there's the... big on in the middle of this place... what does it matter, it's all fucked anyway, where all dead."

"Ohhhh kayyyyyy, BYE!"

The shit was that all about!? Dude needs to see a psychiatrist. He said something about a big elevator in the middle, does he mean that huge pillar... that actually kinda does look like an elevator now that I think about it, welp, off I go.
