Me and Akia made it to class a minute late so the teacher gave us, or should I say me, a warning.

Back when me and Akia were 8 and had arrived at the academy our mother had specifically asked for Akia to be in all of my classes.

Akia was only a month older than me, but my mom still didn’t trust me for some reason.

Sure she’s never said,

‘Echo, your just not as trustworthy as your sister.’

but just before we left and mom was giving Akia a hug she had whispered,

‘Watch your sister for me ok?’

Afterwards she planted a kiss on my forehead without a word and we were left to the care of the academy.
