(PoV Brayden - The guy that was supposed to be the main character but isn't as charismatic as Mr. Pringles - Isekaied human)

"If I may, what are you two doing deep in the forest?" I asked Lucy and Lucas after checking my belongings, a ragged dress and my summoned bracelet. I won't deny that my curiosity was high, and information gathering is also another major factor. Somehow I need to learn about this world as soon as possible. What are the most important cities? How does currency work here, and how to earn it? So many things to know, and this couple carries my answers.

"We are hunting a Worm Queen, Old man! Our first job as rank B adventurers," Lucas answered with a grin, "Don't worry tho! We will protect you when we find the creature. It's going to be easy peasy."

I see. It seems to be a cliche Isekai world. Magic, adventurers, swords, and monsters. Damn, It might even have a Demon Lord.

"I'm sorry for my ignorance, but could you explain to me about adventurers, the city we are going to, the culture in this region, and what is a Worm Queen?" I asked. Truth be told, I wanted to know more, especially about magic, but it is already suspicious enough as it is, and the excuse I've is related to magical things.

With my questions, both of them stopped and looked at me with suspicion. I don't blame them though because I would do the same.

"Hey, Old man, How do you don't know about such basic stuff? You're lost, but this is the most basic thing to know! Aren't you a merchant? I always thought that you should be the ones to have a lot of information." Lucy said, and her right hand was gripping her sword hilt.

"I know this is suspicious, but I've never heard about that stuff in my homeland! As I said, I come from the far west. My caravan and I were supposed to make a special delivery to Redacted, A famous city from where I come, but as you know, bandits attacked us, and there were mages among them. Therefore, I'm suspicious they somehow teleported me when I entered the forest, and I stopped here." I lied *Cough* explained my situation to them.

"Hm, your story is hard to believe, but I don't think it is entirely a lie. Be warned tho, if you try something against us, you are dead." She said while she emitted a cold aura that made my body hair stand. If my novel knowledge is correct, this thing should be her Killer's intent. Scary. 

"*Ahem*, for your questions, Geezer..." Lucas said to get my attention and resumed walking and following the Beast trail, "Adventurers are Mercenaries simply speaking, and the four kingdoms rank us from E to S.

"Four kingdoms?" I interrupted

"Yes, The West Kingdom is populated by Humans and is obviously the one we are now. However, we are open to other races, and because of that, you can see a great diversity here," Lucy explained, "Dwarves populate the North Kingdom, and they are the tallest beings in the world reaching 7' feet; Don't ask me the logic. Elves are in The South kingdom, while Demi-Humans are in the East Kingdom. In the middle of the four reigns is the Demonic Territory."

"Wow, I get it now. Thanks!"

"Anyway, back to your first questions," Lucas said, "As I told you before, we are in the Grüne Blüte Forest in the principality of Thuringia. We are in the biggest city in the far west of the human kingdom, and this forest is famous for the dangerous beasts that live here."

Great. Whatever isekai'd me here decided to put me in a monster nest. Fortunately, those two appeared.

"Now, The Worm Queen is a B-ranked beast with an immense size. This monster causes destruction everywhere it goes. Fortunately, we only need to cut its head off to kill it. No big deal." Lucy answered my last question.

After that, we continued following the trail for what I think were hours. My feet were aching a lot. Suddenly, Lucas stopped and started to look around, whispering he warned us, "My magical senses are feeling something near us, but it Isn't the Worm Queen."

Holy shit, magical senses? Damn, I need to learn how to do magic as soon as possible.

Lucy and Lucas raised their weapons while I prepared myself to run as fast as possible in case of shit hit the vent. However, our worries weren't necessary because the creature that appeared was one that I knew very much. How would I not? With a round face, literally white skin, the body of a beer-drinking man, and a beautiful brown mustache. Mr. Pringles.

"Oh my god..." The adventurer's couple said at the same time.

"Oho! Humans! Lucky me!" Mr. Pringles said with a voice that sounded just like Mario's.

Before I could even start questioning him, because It was clear he was related to my old world, Lucas started to laugh maniacally, unsheathed his sword, and said, "JACKPOT!"

Predicting the danger, Mr. Pringles started to run, but the adventurers were faster and were already attacking him. Lucy cast a magic spell that surrounded her sword with fire, and then she slashed the lower body of Mr.Pringles, cutting off his legs while Lucas did the same with his arms.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHZSASDAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA It hurts! It hurts! Stop! Please! Pleeaaaasee!” Our favorite chip mascot started to scream, and I swear that I will have nightmares with this scene. Meanwhile, Lucy and Lucas had huge grins on their faces while they kept butchering poor Mr. Pringles.

It took three minutes for the screams to stop, and I threw up whatever I had on my stomach with the gruesome view. The only thing that could be recognizable from Mr. Pringles was his iconic mustache.

"W-why did you do this?" I fearfully asked the couple.

"What do you mean?" Lucas answered, but then his face changed to an 'Oh I got it' expression, and he explained, "Right, I forgot you are not from here. This creature we just killed is the rarest in this world, and It is famous for its drops. Recently, many of them started to appear, and their demand and price in the market increased a lot. It seems you're our lucky amulet because we won't need to work so soon after we sell its drop."

"What is this drop?"

"Potato Chips. They are delicious. Rumor says you can tame dragons with it, but no one ever tamed one to prove this."

"Here!" Lucy said and took from Mr. Pringle's guts three cans. She threw one of them to me, and I could have a better view of what it was, "You can have one. Don't ask me why, but I feel that you will make great use of this."

Of course that I'm selling this shit, Dragons? Hell no, take me out of there. Besides, after I saw how they got this, I will never eat chips in my life.

Pringles was my favorite chips brand...

If I try only one, It won't cause any harm to me, right?
