The brick and mortar wall gave way to her strength, Lucy had her dainty fingers on the ebony pommel of her gold-leafed sabre.

*Tap *Tap *Tap, seeing my reflection in her green eyes the taps faded.

"Don't worry dear."

"Yeah, sorry."

Her hair swirled, "No need love. Ready?"

"Yeah."

She spun around and her heels dug into the mud and in one cartwheel motion, she had taken point.

My steel paled in comparison to her and the years she had on me assisted in me being convinced to be in back-row.

"Wow... this is..."

"That is amazing..." Marble without a sole flaw or a single speck of dust... and ten columns upholding the crystal sculpted canopy.

"Beautiful!" Only one of her heels kept her balanced as her body revolved.

"Careful you will stumble Lu-- *sigh." Her fax hair spared over the Marble.

"Ba I am sorry..."

"It's fine but be careful, yeah?" Her hand fastened in mine, I applied strength.

"Thank you dear."

A smile of humorous nature had formed on my face.

Letting off the soft feeling from my hand.

Six caramel pillars stood on the outer circumference, silver and gold forming many patterns of dashing beasts and blooming fauna, my hands gliding on its surface like silk.

Inside the outer rim, there laid 3 ebony pillars leafed with silver small pinstriped silver and candy apple red on the cover and behind the three, a crystal pillar which looked as if ice had frozen over yet it emitted no cold…

“Be look at that…” My vision moved to a coat of arms on the crystal pillar, red velvet and crossed falchion and a round tatar shield on which a red ruby was embedded.

“Lucy, do you think there is anything useful or valuable here?”

“Yes, but I don’t think we should as...”

“These gems, right? Alright, we will not go after them.”

“Thank you, you see these pillars are most likely idols to our gods, we should report his find to the Temple and The Adventurers’ guild, we should be given an appropriate award for our discovery.”

"Don't worry about such superficial things Lucy."

What greeted us outside the marble door was the same dirt and gravel so our probing continued, yet there situations requiring the use of our steel rarely occurred.

"So Lucy what are the gods?"

"Ba the gods are divine beings who govern our lives."

 "So who?"

"Akash the God you have recently converted with is the God of life."

"Rika is the goddess of our world's creation."

"Yes an--."

The ground violently trembled...
