Several days have passed since Nagi's encounter with the siblings whom she'd saved from the wolf. Besides that, nothing special happened. Her eyes were looking at the ceilings trying to divert her attention into something. Since that time, Nagi can't help but think about what the girl said about their village.

"I wonder if that unknown disease is already gone."

Prioritizing yourself and not showing needless compassion to anyone is the norm of this world. But Nagi came from a world with different values and belief, and she can't help but lend a hand on those who need as she has the power to help them. After all, she has already decided to do something for them, so she wants to know how it will end.

She was confident in the effect of her potion, but she still couldn't help but get worried. Though she already got accustomed to some degree to this world's logic, she learned when and where to help others and when to stop.

If there is a chance that the potions Nagi gave to them didn't work, she can't do any more for them and will wait for fate to decide. Just right when Nagi was lost in her thought, she heard a knocked coming from her door. Those two siblings are the only ones who knew about her, so Nagi thought that they were the ones knocking on the door.

For her, it was perfect timing as she was anxiously waiting for news about the village even though she didn't want to admit it to herself, and so Nagi quickly stood up from her bed and went to open the door.

Just as she thought, what she saw when she opened the door was a boy who was acting tough the other day despite being weak, but the girl was nowhere to be seen. She was waiting for the result of what had happened to the village and couldn't wait to ask the boy, but the boy was a bit weird.

"Are you alright? You looked like you're sick?" Even though she was rude to the boy at that time, she was a bit worried about him. They're also the possibilities that the potion didn't work.

"Y-You!" The boy shrieked, and his body froze in an instant as if he saw something, but at the same time, he was also amazed.

"What me?" Without knowing the reason, Nagi was a bit irritated and asked the boy.

"W-Why are you only wearing underwear?!" To Nagi's question, the boy's face was beet red as if he was trying to hide his embarrassment while he covered his eyes with his hands, and yet in those hands, he couldn't help but open them and looked to Nagi.

"Ah!" Soon, Nagi also realized and quickly closed the door. What was just happened was that she forgot to put on her clothes. Nagi is the type of those girl who are comfortable with just having their underwear when alone. Back when she was still on Earth, when Nagi was in her bedroom, she had the habit of changing only into her underwear.

Nagi was already used to living alone for some years now and was confident that no one would visit her house, which is located near the woods, and that's why her old habit came back. And because she was lost in her thought, she forgot the fact that she was half-naked before opening the door.

Nagi ran to get her clothes and wore them. Her face was also red from the embarrassment of being seen. This was the first time a man saw her body in her whole life, and it was a big deal to her. But Nagi was a reasonable woman as she knew that it was her fault in the first place.

It's no use crying over spilled milk. After putting on her clothes, Nagi slightly opened the door and glared at the boy whose face was still in red, and greeted him before closing the door again. She forgot the reason why she immediately opened the door, which was to ask about the village. No, she still remembers it but brushed it aside. There are more important matters for her right now than the village, which is her dignity!

"Wait a second!" The boy was surprised by Nagi closing the door after her greeting, and so he knocked again at the door, but Nagi's action was acceptable as the boy accidentally saw her half-naked. Nagi didn't care much about her looks, and she didn't know that, but Nagi's beauty can't be described with words alone. Besides the fact that her hair became color white, her other features didn't change much since her reincarnation in this world.

Yup, in other words, Nagi's looks were still the same when she was still back on Earth. Pale white skin, Lustrous hair, slim body, and perfect-sized chest that are not too big or small. She has the ideal round curves where it was needed, and so she was called the ice princess when she was still back on Earth.

It can't be helped why the boy got suddenly excited overseeing Nagi on her underwear as there was nothing wrong with it. Anyone who saw it would be going crazy over it. Still, the boy tried to control himself, not showing it in his face.

Of course, even back then, no one ever saw Nagi in her underwear, and you can say that the boy right now was fortunate to see her half-naked, which many dreams of. But ever since coming to this world, he was not the only one who saw Nagi in that situation.

Sylphie also saw them, not only Nagi on her lingerie, but she also saw Nagi's naked body when both of them went to the bath at the same time. It was common for the girls to take a bath together, so there's nothing wrong with it. Well, what happened at that time was for another story.

Still, Nagi opened the door, and this time Nagi already forgot the incident earlier, but in reality, she was only showing her poker face. Of course, it is not that easy to forget her embarrassment, especially if the reason was still in her front, but still, she tried her best, and yet, the boy who was unable to read the mood was still red despite Nagi trying to forget it.

Hey, learn how to read the mood you! She wanted to say it but didn't, as saying this would make them more conscious. Instead, she tried to move on to the information she wanted.

"Ahem, so, how was the village? Are they already cured?"

"Ah, yes. Thank you very much for the potions, no one died in our village. They were already cured." The boy's expression changed as he answered Nagi's question. Luckily, after changing the topic, the strange atmosphere in the air was gone.

"Umu. So, what do you want this time?"

"Can you give me another of those potions that you gave to my sister?"

"What? I thought you said that it was already over? Why do you need another potion?"

"Um… It's kind of urgent so…."

Nagi knitted her brow and stared at the boy who was avoiding her eye contact. She was a bit suspicious as the boy looked a bit guilty. Still, she didn't mind it.

After all, what bad may happen in giving the boy another potion as the purpose of the potion is to cure any wounds and illness in the body, not a poison that kills people. And so, Nagi didn't pursue the reason anymore.

"Okay, but this is the last time, okay? Also, don't bother coming back here again." Nagi tossed another potion and didn't wait for the boy's reply, and she quickly closed the door.

The other reason why Nagi casually gave the potion to that boy was that she wanted to end their contact as soon as possible as she knew that the village was already safe. If she refuses the boy's request, there's a possibility that the boy will be back in the future to disturb her.

There's also a possibility that the boy will return and ask Nagi for a potion again even though she already gave one to him because Nagi quickly handed the potion to him. Nagi also considered the possibility that the villagers will go to her every time that someone is sick.

She also doesn't want to be taken advantage of by others, and so if that time happens, then Nagi has no choice but to leave. She doesn't want the village to depend on her every time because there's a possibility that it will limit their growth in being independent in the future. After all, one life can affect the future of many.

A couple of days since then, Nagi's routine came back to normal. Sleeping, eating, and strolling around the forest, everything was going fine. The boy didn't come back anymore, just like what Nagi asked.

Thud Thud Thud

One day morning, Nagi was about to eat when someone knocked again on her door. Her mood was off as she was about to eat when someone disturbed her. Nagi quickly went to the door. There was a force in every step she took, and there's no denying it the Nagi was a bit annoyed.

"Again? What is it this time?! Didn't I say don't come here aga—"

Unlike the adventurers that Nagi saw in those years, this man was wearing rather good equipment. A shiny silver chest plate looks like it was newly bought, and the hilt of his sword from his waist has an unusual design. She saw similar people who had the same equipment back then, and there's no doubt about it.

"My My, what brought an esteemed knight in my humble house?" It was amazing how quickly Nagi changed her demeanor as she was suddenly wearing a smile on her face despite being annoyed earlier.

I changed the story into a third-person point of view, and I will use it from now on. Initially, I started this story to try and explore writing from the first-person perspective, but it looks like it was not meant for me. I'm not accustomed to that style, limiting my ideas and making it hard for me to write.
