After a long vacation, I'm back! And no, no, no~ I will continue this series and stop the rewrite. It's too much of a hassle.

The blue sky up high with it's clouds moving, the trees that passed by, the land of living. Lucid looked out from the carriages window and stared at the moving scenery outside.

"Are you bored, Lucid? Don't worry, we'll be arriving at the capital soon." Mina said as she poked Lucid's arm.

"Really? Oh!" Lucid glanced at Mina with a smile, after that, she returned her gaze outside.

The trees were like a speeding blur, one second, it was no longer there. Raising her sight a bit, Lucid looked up to the sky and watched as a few birds flew by. Then she leaned further more on the window.

Seeing a huge stone gate in her sight, a large smile appeared on her face.

"We're almost there!" Ban had also looked outside the window, just like Lucid, they both saw the gate that was coming closer.

One second, two seconds......ten seconds...The carriage finally stopped.

Lucid couldn't wait anymore and impatiently swung the door open. She raised the hems of her dress slightly as she went down the carriage.

The carriage brought a lot of people to watch, after all, it was owned by the noble marquees, the great hero's title.

The crowd slowly grew larger that the streets were almost filled. Although it had become tight, nobody dared to stand in front of the carriage to provoke the people inside.

Tap.

Their eyes stuck onto the beautiful girl going out of the carriage. Her dark blue hair was separated into a bun while the rest freely fell into her back. Her dark red dress simply complimented her ruby red eyes that shone under the lighting of the sun. The people couldn't help but gasp, this was an unfamiliar beauty.

After gaining her footing in the ground, Lucid turned her body to face Meru and his family. Meru dazedly stared at Lucid for a minute and he suddenly remembered Lily.

Lucid and Lily almost looked the same, if you dye Lucid's hair and eyes of lighter color, she could become the second Lily.

"Meru?" Bree tapped her husband's arm in worry.

"Huh, oh, let's come down." Meru broke free from his daze and gently helped his wife to go down from the carriage, attracting more viewers to watch them appear.

“Hey, isn't that the marquess and his wife?” Asked someone.

“They must be!” Answered another.

Lucid took a step back as Meru and Bree stepped down. “Ban, Mina, come out! Hurry!” She called their names.

Mina giggled before following suit. She stepped out of the carriage while raising the skirt of her rosy pink frit dress. Ban followed her sister after adjusting his hat, he was then dragged by Lucid to go to the nearby stall as Meru and Bree chuckled at their childishness.

“Father,” Mina suddenly turned and looked at her father with knowing eyes, “Me and Ban can protect Lucid. You and mother should go now.”

Bree couldn't help but laugh much more. “Why? Is it because its not fun when adults are around?”

Mina shook her head, “No, no,” She looked up and leaned sideways, “It's boring with you two here. Go quickly. Don't bother supervising us since we're big already.”

“Are you sure?” Meru asked as he casted a glance at his son. Ban realized that this question was for him. He put on a smile and replied, ”We're sure of it father. If we ever lose Lucid, we'll be at your disposal.”

“If that's so.” Bree pulled Meru near her and gleamed. “Meru and I shall go now. Be careful.... Children.”

“Mooommm!”

“Huhu...See you later Lucid. Have fun. Oh, and you'll be visiting an academy too. Just tell Mina what you want.”

“Yes.”
