When Feng Xue and Snowy in Phoenix Pavilion, two people inside the Feng Mansion chatting and enjoying the serenity of the little garden.

The man emitting a noble aura and despite his actual age looks like in his late 30's. His blue eyes so deep seemingly contain wisdom that reflected his experience in life. His temperament was calm and collected made people around him feel safe and secure.

He was Feng Xuan. The current patriarch of Feng Family and Phoenix City Lord.

"What do you think of the lady that little Xue brought home?" Feng Xuan asked the woman who served him a tea in refine and elegant manner, Madam Feng.

"She is a strange but lovely girl. Her countenance a bit stiff reminds me of a doll. Though, she seems very obedient to little Xue." Madam Feng replied.

"Is there any chance that she is a spy planted by Yan Family?" Feng Xuan frowned and asked with a serious expression.

"Although the chance is not zero, it's doubtful someone that unsociable to be a spy. I'll keep my eyes on her so you don't need to worry too much." Madam Feng calmly answered.

"I just don't want to see someone take advantage of our daughter and bring her harm. Patriarch Yan has been pressuring me about marrying little Xue with his son lately."

"You shouldn't overthink it. Let the young settle their own matter. We, elders, just need to watch and make sure that she is safe."

Madam Feng understood her husband's worries, because so does she. However, their daughter was already grown up so she can only put her trust in her.

Feng Xuan noticed that her wife trying to calm him down.

"Yes, yes. Hehe." Think that her wife's reaction is very adorable, he continued to laugh shamelessly.

"Beyond Heaven grade, there are Spirit, Royal, and Divine rank. Beyond that, you don't need to know for now." Snowy said without elaborate further.

"Hmph, whatever. Trying to be mysterious." She pouted.

It doesn't matter if Snowy did not tell her about it today because she was confident that she will be able to slowly uncover all her secrets as long as they still together.

"How about the beast core? Are they enough?" Feng Xue asked to change the topic.

"I think they are enough to get me breakthrough to seventh or eight-level of Qi refining stages," Snowy answered casually.
