Imagine if you will that there is a story portrayed countless times throughout the multiverse, this story appears in some form in nearly every edge of the endless multiverse. This story is about an almighty alien falling down from their planet and becoming revered as a hero by all the inhabitants. This story whether the alien is good or evil or somewhere in-between is about hope and being accepted for who you are wherever you are and becoming a symbol, the ultimate symbol...power. Imagine this alien who had their entire identity based around the thought of power, imagine them kneeling in submission to a fragile child. What must the alien feel? The answer is simple, anybody who felt their entire identity and belief in themselves shaken must face one of two reactions, they can choose to accept the humility with grace and dignity and devote themselves to being a new symbol or a better symbol, or they could-

"DAMNNNNNNN ITTTTT"

-Experience a bloody, violent, brutal rage, this was what General Galactic felt.

Drake was similarly feeling an intense emotion yet instead of rage he felt shocked. The story of his father was known by everybody, his father was originally a prince on the planet Pridra 7 who was sent away from the planet at early adulthood to carry out the responsibility of an ambassador on the planet earth in 1970 exactly one year after the human race had left their atmosphere to begin their journey amongst the stars. The purpose of this was  to allow the earth protection and knowledge on the power of alien empires. After arriving his father had never even taken noticeable damage once, from alien tyrants to mad geniuses there was only flawless victory from what was known as he "Glistening God." this God was now kneeling to a child he had shunned much like the Cronus of old fell to Zeus.

A burst of power exploded from General Galactic as he tried to break free of the omnipresent force holding him down, all that he managed to accomplish was that when he pressed against the ground with his hand the marble floor started to shatter in wide cracks. While this battle was happening in the physical realm there was a far more internal battle happening in the mind of young Drake

"LET HIM GO!"

Reyka was standing face to face with Avros as her eyes stared through him with righteous indignation. Avros simply turned around and started walking away with his hands behind his head in a leisurely manner

"I said let him go, he's served his penance in the form of shame, any further would just cause problems for Drake."

Avros sighed as he lazily looked back at Reyka

"How? How is this enough? he still struggles so therefore he still believes he has power over us. This only ends when he begs to be let go or dies."

Drake meanwhile was hyperventilating as his head went through enormous pain and his features changed slightly to resemble Avros more than Reyka. As this happened Reyka was about to respond before she felt a cold sweat down the back of her neck. Reyka turned around to see Drake staring at a familiar aquamarine and emerald green screen hovering in front of him.

"It can't be..."

The screen suddenly widened to form a dome that covered the whole room as General Galactic froze. inside this dome a familiar sight to Reyka appeared while nobody else recognized it

"Mother."

The woman who bared a similar resemblance to Reyka except in the hair and eye color along with the medieval garbs looked towards Reyka before her eyes glowed the same Aquamarine color as the room and spoke

"Error: Host privileges shifting, assuming new avatar."

Within the next two seconds of Avros and Drake looking confused of this new being Reyka quietly whispered to herself

"no...please"

Reyka had seen this before so she knew what was about to happen, Reyka watched as the last trace of her mother slowly disappeared from existence. Not only was this form the one Reyka knew as her mother but it was also the form that taught Reyka everything about her powers and raised her into the woman she was today. Reyka did not yell or lose composure, she had faced far too much horror for that, she simply let a single tear roll down her face as she watched the person she loved most change into a new woman.

Drake tensed up as he saw the new form of the being in front of him, there was only one woman in this world who it could be

"No no no, father said you died, h-how is this-"

What appeared was a young red haired woman who could not have been much older than Reyka appeared to be, at most she was 19 and at least 17. This woman looked down at Drake before speaking in an emotionless voice

"Answer: the system avatar is designed to change their form to one the controller felt is their best guide in order to achieve maximum efficiency of system integration."

Reyka looked at Drake with pity

"It's a ghost of your past, somebody you respected or cared for to make sure you listen to the system protocol. "

Avros looked in disgust

"It chains your actions by bringing up former regrets? What a cruel joke by those gods"

Reyka for the first time did not reprimand Avros and just looked away before addressing the girl

"System, how can you still be around? the Godsphere was obliterated."

The system turned to Reyka with cold eyes as if it was looking through her and Reyka felt her heart break

"Answer: You hold no privileges, system protocol dictates you shall not receive answers. Your mission was accomplished, you are no longer required in the system"

Avros looked at Reyka with eyes that seemed to pity her while taking joy in her situation, Drake however looked at the girl with a bloodless face yet still spoke.

"Why did you answer me and not her?"

The girl looked down at Drake with the same blank stare that made Drake feel like a piece of himself was dying all over again

"Answer: You are designated Controller/Admin, you hold limitless privileges. Any and all commands given will be carried out by the system."

Drake looked to Reyka and smiled innocently

"Well at least answer her questions."

The girl paused for several seconds and nodded

"Message: System updated to answer questions from designation Reyka Fujama."

Avros finally failed to contain his gloating as he spoke

"Oh how ironic, the champion of the gods lost her gift yet I am able to operate freely in this world."

The girl looked towards Avros before for the first time losing the emotionless eyes and face which was instead replaced by a gloating and mocking facial expression which upset Avros greatly

"Correction: It is well within system expectations that the Demon King fails to understand the situation. You have equal powers to former controller."

Reyka looked hopeful

"You mean to say I can also exert my authority?!"

The girl looked back at Reyka with no emotions before speaking

"Correction: You have no authority."

Avros widened his eyes in fear before laughing

"BWAHAHA I think your thing finally broke after I collapsed the universe. Look over there girl, if I have no power how would you explain that?"

The girl looked to see General Galactic frozen while struggling to stand up before looking back at Avros with the same mocking grin.

"Correction: Will being enforced is not due to the Demon King's power. Michael Animo is forced to kneel because of the power of the Demon King."

Avros squinted in confusion

"The Difference?"

The mocking smile grew even more pronounced as she spoke these next words slowly

"Answer: You. Have. No. Choice."

Avros widened in eyes again as a variety of emotions could be seen from his clenched feral teeth and eyes that appeared even more bloody than normal.

"NO CHOICE?! I MADE THIS MAN KNEEL WITH MY POWER THE SAME AS I ALWAYS HAVE!"

the girl did say a word to him but simply kept staring with the grin prey would make if a predator who had always hunted it was instead caught in a trap.

Drake found that nobody seemed to ask or was intending to ask the biggest question he had

"Who are you?"

The girl spread her arms out like a holy symbol before her voice rang out and lights sprang out forming shapes to her words

"Answer: This one is the system avatar in the form of one formerly designated Lauren Animo. The system however is the base code of the multiverse given sentience by the old gods, the System Controller is Drake Animo which gives you complete control over the system and therefore control over the multiverse to an extent. The system measures the Karmic value of System Controller which currently sits at 52% Avros and 49% Reyka."

Reyka grew tense at this and decided to ask the system hesitantly

"What happens at 100%?"

The system did not hesitate

"Answer: At 100% the spirit with 100% compatibility assumes control of the System Controller and is able to change the host body to their original form while the other spirit will be erased. The System Controller must resist the influence of both spirits reaching 100% if they wish to remain in the host body."

Avros sighed and frowned

"Well you sadists ruined the game already. By telling him that he is gonna die it's gonna be rigged against us."

The system once again looked at Avros with a gloating look

"Correction: This is not unfair towards you, if the System Controller wishes to unlock greater abilities they must move towards one Karmic Value or else be stuck with limited powers."

Avros and Reyka finally understood

"You cruel bastards, you'd make a child choose between who will kill them so that they can feel accepted? Even for you that is far too cruel a fate."

Just as they looked at Drake with pity they heard something truly shocking

"Correction: this was created by something superseding the system's authority."
