In the morning, and after a good breakfast, we enter Quratar’s Dungeon; using the map, we make our way to the 8th floor.
Horned Rabbit - Lv40
The simple Horned Rabbit died in four hits from Excalibur, and it explodes into green smoke.
When the smoke clears, laying on the stone floor is something that’s neither Rabbit Fur, nor Rabbit Meat.
Hmm? This is the first time I have seen something like this.
“Master, it’s a Demon Card!” Roxanne darts forwards and picks it up, before quickly giving it to me.
It was a silver-ish card that was the same size and shape as an Intelligence Card, however, there didn’t seem to be anything written on it.
“Though, this is my first time seeing one.” Roxanne stared at the card with wide, inquisitive eyes, “Because of how easily and quickly we have been killing the Demons, I thought that we would eventually get to see one; but seeing one so soon…I’m impressed, master.”
One of the main objectives for someone entering the Dungeon would be to find loot worth a lot of money, or to improve their gear--these cards fulfilled either of these objectives, depending on if the owner wished to sell, or to use the Demon Card.
Well, I don’t plan on selling this Demon Card--so now, we need a Master Smith.
The opportunity quickly arrives.

By the time we finish Quratar’s Dungeon, our Magic Crystal has become Blue, and we found a second. Meaning, our assets have become quite formidable if we liquidate them.
“Roxanne, later today, I plan on visiting Vale.”
I needed to go to the Slave Trader’s, to ask some questions.
“Can I ask why, master?” Roxanne asked as she cleaned up the plates and cutlery from breakfast.
“Sure, I plan to go to the Slaver Traders’, for two reasons; first is that I wish to change the Will--I will change it so you will be released if I were to die.”
“Thank you very much, master. But, is it alright to tell me such a thing?” Roxanne finished with the dishes and sat down opposite me.
“Well, I don’t know if you need to be present when I make the will; so you will end up knowing anyway. If you don’t, because it can be altered secretly, your attitude won’t change.”
“I see. Of course my attitude wouldn’t change, master.” Roxanne spoke with a pleasant smile and twitching ears, “But, the slave doesn’t have to be present--because usually the master wouldn’t tell their slaves.”
She paused for a second, “Also…master, if you trust me; please don’t leave a will?”
“Eh, why?”
“I will protect you, master. I will not let you be defeated before me!” Her expression is determined, “It’s the job of a slave to die protecting their master.”
Her cheeks are slightly flushed as she looks down.
“Ahh, I understand. Thank you.” I pause for a second, “As for the second reason for visiting the Slave Traders. It’s time to get a new party member; the Dungeon’s difficulty will massively increase when we go to the 10th floor--which should be fairly soon, if we keep advancing at this speed.”
“I see, master; that’s a very good idea.” Roxanne nodded with a smile.
“Also, if the new party member is a Dwarf, we will have someone who can enchant our equipment if we find more Demon Cards.” I pulled the Demon Card out my Ring and place it on the table, as though for emphasis.
“Do you agree?” I asked Roxanne; though she looked like she agreed, I wanted to make sure.
“Yes, master. I can understand why you wished for me to accompany you, even if you aren’t changing the will.”
“Yep, I definitely want your input in this. I also don’t know or understand a lot of things--so any advice would be helpful.”
“Understood.”
Author's Note:
This chapter is very short, because I had to delete an entire chapter because it was purely about making soap...and nothing else--and this is the remaining half(ish) of the next chapter. 60% (ish) of which was just a badly written, badly thought out bath scene.
You could have fixed the bath scene, I'm sure... Everyone loves sexy-times in the hot tub.
I could have, but I wasn't in the mood lol; I will probably write one later
You skipped bubbling up roxane!!!.
The crystals were already blue a few chapters back, it should be green now.
Yeah, I don't think making soap was particularly an important character building activity. It did help Roxanne think Michio was more amazing (as if that was needed) but that's completely trumped by her knowing that he's from another world altogether in this version. I'm fine with taking this activity out (for some reason, every isekai has the mc making mayonnaise and or soy sauce and of course the hunt for rice), and new content doesn't need to be added (to this chapter) since you can instead just continue with modifying the next chapter instead. I saw you also removed Roxanne's doubt or concern at him wanting another party member as well as she seemed to take it that him wanting another one was not wanting her anymore.
Yeah. While she was like that at the beginning, she seems to be the sort who would have her confidence build (not to ridiculous, over the top levels), but has enough trust in her master by this point that she would worry too much; also, when he first mentions getting more slaves she has that doubt (an earlier chapter), but he reassures her (she seems to trust him to the point that would be enough)--at least, that's what I am going for lol.
Well, at least it puts something like, "I tried to make soap and I got it" or "I bought soap along with the daily utilities", because in the original soap is something that only noblemen buy because it's expensive, so the solution is to make your own or change the story so that soap is normal and cheap.
If it comes up (which it might), I will say that it was part of the daily necessities that they bought. I don't think that it will be only for noblemen in my version. (They already had something like shampoo in the original which could be bought for cheap).
