The swirling thoughts to bypass such a broken test came to an abrupt stop when the alluring voice echoed within the depths of his subconsciousness. Jet's physical structure visibly shuddered as an extremely familiar current of energy seeped out of his Elemental Space while gently moving towards his index finger.

The moment Jet felt the peculiar current discharging from his fingertip, he swore he saw a blue-gold spark before one of the crystals embedded on the bottom of the cup fell.

The sudden change in mechanism immediately created a 'tic' sound before the liquid inside the cup visibly cooled down, turning more dense and grim looking.

'What... just happened?'

His astounded gaze remained on the small denture on the bottom of the cup that held the previously falling crystal.

'Did I just... bypass the formation?'

With a momentary lapse in his thoughts, a maelstrom of questions raged within his mind. But he was unable to understand his own condition while a calm voice broke him out of his identity crisis.

"Drink it."

"Eh?"

Feeling an overbearing presence behind him, Jet slowly turned his head while his gaze met a serious one. The bald senior kept his gaze on Jet while spoke once again.

"Drink it. It is too expensive to be wasted. It won't benefit you much, but your thought process will definitely increase by 1%."

Even though Jet felt quite opposed to the idea of drinking a liquid that literally boiled, right now, an undeniable and soothing scent did waft out of the cup.

"If you waste it, you will owe me 48000 Middle-tier Wind Crystals."

Without a second thought, the content was drained into his mouth while the bald senior sat back on his bench and rested once again before instructing once more.

"When you gain consciousness, be sure to wake me up."

With that, Jet felt his consciousness drifting while mysterious energy gradually seeped back into his body, reinforcing his own Elemental Space before getting absorbed by his Fate Element Cultivation Sphere.

As Jet's consciousness drifted to God knows where, the Bald Senior stood up before picking the emptied red cup through its handle and turned it over to gaze at the formation placed within the bottom of the cup.

With the neutral energy core removed from the only loophole left to an experienced person's naked eyes, Raina, the bald Senior did feel quite astonished that the kid in front of him easily passed his test.

"Was he lucky?"

Gazing at Jet's sharp countenance, Raina narrowed his eyes.

"He has the face of those sons of heaven... but I think... this mongrel really got lucky..."

Placing the cup down after deactivating the remaining part of the formation and taking out the energy cores, Raina sat back on his chair while he slowly scribbled on the blueprint that held the design of a chamber-like machine. 

Of course, the design actually felt quite similar to the elevators invented by the goblins... but Raina slowly tweaked its settings while converting the whole transportation utility into something more.

"Well, if he passed the test, disregarding his luck, means that he has an affinity with formations. He even has the Imperial Finance Minister's backing and..."

Taking out a document from one of the many drawers installed in his table, he unfolded the said document and then read Jet's actions out loud.

"To actually strike Rank 5 test conductor without any Cultivation does entail to minor attention. But if the Imperial family is involved, then things might not be too simple."

Suddenly, his eyes glittered brilliantly and he immediately took out five pure white crystals before placing them on the ground while his wind elemental energy passed through each crystal in a mystical manner while a pentagram-like formation was quickly set up on the table itself.

"Hehehe... if the minister is involved... I can ask for a higher price, right? After all, who dares claim to be a better formation battle master other than master?"

He immediately wrote down a few numbers and materials before he set the paper on the formation itself. Soon, the written material on the paper disappeared while the paper was shredded into tiny bits. 

Jet, on the other hand, couldn't witness all this. In fact, his body and mind went through a wonderful change that wasn't even privy to Jet himself as he remained on the messy couch, unconscious.

His nerves grew resistant to elemental energy ever so slightly while his own consciousness was filled with an abundance of energy that failed to get absorbed by the most delicate organ of the body— Brain.

But tiny bits of element energy did seep into his organ only to get shredded into nothingness by a current of blue-gold energy shooting and revolving throughout his body. As the alien elemental energy god reduced to nothingness, mysteriously, the fate energy within Jet's surrounding and his elemental space started to increase at a breakneck pace.

The blue-gold energy sphere rotated furiously, absorbing the abundant Fate energy that gathered upon its host.

Even Raina failed to notice the mysterious energy gathered upon Jet and kept laughing maniacally as he kept on scribbling his designs, his thoughts drifting towards the exotic elements he would gain and the consequential rise in his proficiency due to attaining and practising his art further.

"Your Royal Highness, the Finance Minister sent this letter while clearly stating its importance regardless of your cultivation."

A young, beautiful maid knocked on the door while keeping her head low and bowing politely. The corridor she stood in looked luxurious as the crimson patterned wall enticed any man's heart.

From the other side of the Red-gold door, a soft voice managed to escape while the head of the maid lowered further in reverence.

"Slip it through the door."

Immediately complying, the maid slipped the letter through the door before she went away while the gorgeous black-haired woman on the other side of the door stood up and picked up the letter herself instead of controlling the elements.

"Hmm?"

Reading the contents, her mesmerising eyebrows rose in wonder while a soft smile formed on her supple, plump lips.

"10000 Top-tier Energy Crystals alongside two batches of Violent Amethyst Core, 100 grams of Brown Bone Powder and so much more...

Well, Raina's reputation certainly hasn't receded a bit.

My hero... I'll be waiting. Just be a little bit quicker. I have already waited for too long."

She muttered while sitting back on her bed and closing her eyes in meditation. A deep water elemental energy revolved around her gracious figure while the woman continued making skill diagrams in the air to check their effectiveness.

A/N: The wife of other two families won't be written cause they don't have any roles in the novel itself. Even Ginli and Varnar had quite a small role in the novel so they are only mentioned.

The only quality that Ginli has shown is her extraordinary stamina to take lucifer for all night so she may return in future.

Either way, with all the important, minor and mentioned characters of volume one written, I will continue with volume 2 glossary after some time. 

Instead, I will construct and organise the Harem and finally give out the total number of girls present in his harem.
