Time Stamp: 2nd year of College

During a break between his classes, there was a certain black-haired boy leaning against a stone pillar as if he was waiting for someone. Unluckily for him, there seemed to be two pests that wouldn't leave him alone.

"Hey hey, are you free?"

"Want to come and have fun with us?"

Two older girls who seemed to be in their later years of college approached the solitary boy and started to hit on him. Although he was alone and giving off an unsociable vibe, the boy was tall and fairly attractive.

"I'm sorry," the boy politely declined. "I'm waiting for someone else."

The boy declined the two girls, but they wouldn't give up that easily. For such a polite and attractive man, they wouldn't just let him go without trying their best.

"Your friend can come as well!"

"What if we give you a little bit of a surprise~?"

Both of the girls seemed to misunderstand that his friend was a boy, which would soon come to a shock for them.

Before the boy could respond, a blonde-haired beauty with blue eyes appeared out of nowhere and greeted the two ladies.

"Hello, girls. Did you want something with my boyfriend?" the girl sweetly asked.

When the two college girls realized that he was taken already, they quickly apologized and left immediately.

"Takei, I just can't leave you for one moment or you'll get hit on," Akari sighed.

"Ahaha, I'm sorry. I was about to explain the situation to them before you intervened," Takei awkwardly scratched his head.

Before they had even realized it, Takei and Akari became sophomores at their university. After graduating high school, the two of them enrolled in the same university and pursued their respective majors.

The both of them also had slight makeovers to make their college debuts even more special.

"How do I look today?" Akari lightly spun around to show Takei her outfit.

Today, Akari decided to wear a white dress with a denim jean jacket and a straw hat. It was a very refreshing and flowery look that suited her innocent face and adorable gestures. Her hair that was tied back into two twin tails only accentuated her cuteness.

On the other hand, Takei wore a similar outfit with black jeans, a white shirt, and a black jean jacket just to top it off. He parted his hair to the side with some gel, which helped give him an aura of a popular normie.

"I think you look quite wonderful," Takei smiled.

Akari faintly blushed at Takei's comment. "Oh you, you're quite good at flattering women."

"Only when it comes to you," Takei laughed.

The two naturally held each other's hand and walked towards the food court on campus. Akari was already finished with her classes for the day, but Takei still had one more class later.

Since he had a break in-between his classes, they decided to get lunch together.

"So, how was your last lecture?" Akari asked. "Was today a thrilling and enjoyable lecture?"

"What do you think?"

"Sleeper again?"

"Yep..."

Takei truly respected the professors that would teach and give enjoyable lectures, which is why he was annoyed to have a professor that was lazy. The class that he had before lunchtime was a shining example.

The professor would use old pre-recorded lectures to teach the class and would be annoyed if anyone came up to ask questions.

"I'm really trying my best, but it's hard when all I'm doing is watching some old dude drone on and on in some video from 2003."

"You have half a semester left, so do your best!"

Once the two got their food from one of the shops in the food court, they found an empty table and sat down at it.

"As much as I complain, I've been really enjoying college so far. The freedom to choose what I want to do is really just great," Takei stated.

Akari nodded as she stuffed her mouth with orange chicken. "It's sad that we don't see everyone else as much as we used to since everyone is busy with their own lives now, but I guess that's just a part of life."

"We just need to find a day when everyone has a free schedule so we can go out and have some fun," Takei said.

After high school, everyone suddenly got busy with their futures so the amount of hanging out was drastically reduced. However, this didn't mean that they didn't stay in contact. Although they were all doing their own things, everyone would get back together every once in a while to catch up and have fun.

"Takei~ There's something else that we need to talk about!" Akari tugged on the sleeve of his shirt.

Takei confusedly looked at her. "What is it?"

"You've been getting too popular around campus lately," Akari pouted. "Mou, these girls keep trying to pounce on you even though you're taken..."

Due to Takei's makeover, he no longer looked like a gloomy loner. With the help of Akari, he managed to create a new image for himself as an attractive and kind guy. A big part of his change was also due to him consistently exercising to achieve a good body.

This may have been a good thing overall, but the only negative was that he was being approached by many girls. A large number of girls from all different ages would always approach Takei and try to seduce him, but to no avail.

"If you're worried, I have something for you that can relieve your anxiety," Takei winked.

"Oh? What is it?"

"It's this!"

Using the element of surprise, Takei tilted Akari's head back ever so slightly and stole a kiss from her ever so plump red cheeks. The familiar taste of honey greeted Takei once again as he gently traded saliva with Akari.

"Fueh... you really are such a playboy by nature~" Akari finally managed to let go and catch her breath.

"I'm only a playboy when it comes to you," Takei mischievously smiled.

Even if they were in a new era of their lives, the love between Takei and Akari would continue to burn on ever so brightly. This was a bonafide fact that was proven correct by God himself!
