“...20th stance! <Heavenly cut>”

Hisashi yelled and took a different stance. Little did he notice his sword which flickered with scarlet flame and gradually ablazed. EveryoneAya, Katsuro and all the souls present in the scenewas shocked and confused. Why was his sword on fire? Was he, for real, using magic? If he was, then how could he do so on his very first day? But none of these questions were of significance at the moment, and the reason lies in his eyes burning with determination. He had absolutely no other thoughts on his mind, than his one and only goal at the momentdefeating Avalanche!

Due to the sudden development, Avalanche jolted, being genuinely taken aback. He knew Hisashi was a new face he’d seen, and for him to use magic this effortlessly, was no joke. Just what he’d expect from the promised oneaccording to him.
As a response, Avalanche electrified his sword, and sparks disseminated. He swung his blade towards Hisashiwho stood as if about to run a marathonand many individual zapping sparks of lightning roared his way.

Hisashi rushed at him in a zig-zag dodging the bolts, with his blazing sword. Experiencing his endurance and the failure of his attack, Avalanche, with a ‘tch’, dashed straight at him. A few metres apart, Hisashi sprang high up and delivered a down-slash which encountered Avalanche’s fierce electric menace, generating a bright white explosion, as if they just manifested the power of the sun. It repelled both of them. Somehow stopping from sliding further, he noticed that Avalanche had lowered his guard; he had lost his stance.

This is my chance!

Thought Hisashi, while still winching with pain. The wounds inflicted by Avalanche were tormenting him, so much that he couldn’t move a finger without suffering. But he knew very well that the opponent won’t take mercy because of that. Moreover, he didn’t WANT him to feel pity. So, with an effort, Hisashi changed his stance-

“JeonBu Kamihame sword style 4th stance! <Atomic pierce>”

-and disappeared from Avalanche’s sightwho was just about to gain his balancealmost in an instant. He was moving at such incredible speeds that not even the blazing sword could leave a trail behind. Avalanche, dazed as he was confused, frantically scanned his surroundings for any signs of Hisashi. In spite of that, he was nowhere to be found.

But, just a few steps away, he appeared and swung his blazing blade with all his might, piercing through Avalanche’s stomach at such an incredible speed that he couldn’t even feel anything for an instant. He finally did it, he finally was able to land a successful and fatal blow, he had his vengeance. Hisashi thought that that would be it, that the fight’s finally over, he had finally won the battle against such a powerful opponent. But-

[NOTICE: Usage of unique skill ‘Reciprocation’ detected.]

Avalanche’s sword overflowed with electric sparks, disseminating violently and with a flash, slashed over Hisashi’s front, leaving a deep and grievous wound-

[WARNING: Excess electricity passing through body…Failure; could not increase resistance for passive skill ‘Electric Shock Resistance’…Failure; could not resist high current flow.]

-and even electrocuted him. A pool of blood spurted out and Hisashi fell on the ground with a thud, painting the floor around him bright red as if he was floating amidst nowhere in a ruby sea.

He tried and tried, but couldn’t move, trying his utmost with his ever-so minute movements. He knew he couldn’t carry on anymore, that he’d exhausted his strength, that he’d given his best at his current level. Looking up at the students and the teared-up Aya, Katsuro along with Reiko who came rushing at him-

Everyone…I’m sorry…

His surroundings blurred and faded and eventually he laid there unconscious, falling into pitch-black darkness, the darkness of the world beyond the known universe. His sword vanished into nothingness.

As Aya, Katsuro and Reiko approached with terror, one of Avalanche's men now came into action. He came in front and as he was about to attack when-

“Fist of fury!”

-a sudden zap of electricity roared and a cyanish sparking fist slammed that guy, causing waves of sparks to disseminate and blasted the man away, and out of the window. He fell three floors, no way was he getting back up.

Gradually, the mysterious fist gave way to the manifestation of the whole figure, and Aya, Katsuro and Reiko were quite surprised, jaws agape and eyes open wide. It was the person whom Hisashi and Aya had met, the one who wielded thundering magic. Yes. It was Julian Von Ryenne!
