===

It's been more than two months since Can and his tribe men worked for their new rulers, the roads they making all over Sol was already finished, the once muddy roads are now made out of 'concrete', he was surprised when he was still working, he learned so many things working with the terrans, his tribe was helped by the government provided them new homes in the capital of Sol, healthcare and jobs, he couldn't thank them enough for what they have done to him and his tribe so far.

===

Piaia was sold by his parents for their debts, she was only 16, sold to the previous lord of Sol as his pleasure outlet, since he sold Sol, every single slave was freed, given shelter, healthcare and education, everything happened so fast that until now she thinks that this was all a dream, she's sitting on a bench near the educational facility, terrans called it a school, a place where the majority of young slaves is being educated, she learned so many things such as mathematics, basic science, reading and writing, it's her ultimate dream to someday able to study in a magical academy, however her dreams all shattered when her own parents sold her, but now, thanks to the terrans, she was able to learn despite being a slave, a sex slave to be precise, the terrans are very kind people.

A group of playing children run past him, they are all laughing. "Someday I will repay the terrans."

Viscious La Leila a merchant from the Alfrein Kingdom just docked his galleon in the port of Sol, he heard the news that Sol was sold to a new nation, New Terra, apparently, they sell products of high quality, he didn't doubt the news because the Alfrein Kingdom itself and New Terra just established a diplomatic relationship, he saw his merchant friends importing a really rather high quality products, but out of all products, what he caught attention the most was, tea. Tea is considered as a luxury where only aristocrats and wealthy persons can afford to buy, there's even coffee which is second to sought after tea, the procedure of importing Terran products is quite hard, it was due to their complex laws and policies, but nevertheless, the income he can gain with the products he will sell soon would be no doubt large.

...

Sol has a population of more that 30,000 now, originally Sol only had around 17,000 inhabitants, the numbers increased because Ars wanted more manpower in the island, therefore he bought demi-human slaves from the imperium, apparently the imperium were eradicating the demi-humans in their northern region, thousands of demi-humans were neither enslaved, sold or killed, the mass numbers of demi-humans became problematic with the imperium, they were about to kill the surplus of demi-humans when Ars heard it he immediately sent some representatives to buy the demi-humans, they have bought more than 13,000 demi-humans, it cost then 200 platinum coins.

After the road projects finished. A new plan has been released to make a city with a similar design of Auroraborealis which is Paris inspired, but the buildings will be much more smaller with the tallest building being only five story which will serve as the colonial government office, the city will be build north of New Port Town Pellé where the large plain is located, the construction already begun and the government office is just about to be finished.

The city will be named Aegis City, there will five districts in the city which are the government district, located in the center where various government offices such as the justice court, city hall, various department buildings, Sol Police Headquarters, main hospitals etc... To the east of the central district is the industrial district where various manufacturing factories and companies will operate, it is expected to produce more jobs and employ more people, to the east is the commercial district, the difference between industrial district and the commercial is that the commercial district is here various merchants, companies to sell their products, it will serve as the hub of merchants where various transactions will be made, to the south is the residential district, new port town of Pellé is included, in the south, the residential district will be constructed, it is expected to house the citizens of Sol, the houses are connected in sides and designed large enough to house large creatures such as minotaurs, the streets are wide so the people won't be cramped.

And finally to the north is the agricultural district where farmers are located and their farms, further into the north is the protected wildlife reserve, the lake and rivers are located there where various animals are thriving, the citizens have some questions as to why the government forbids them from hunting and cutting trees from the region, they concluded that they may somehow similar to elves who treasures the nature, it is expected to take four seasons for the city and all projects in Sol to be finished.

...

Military Academy of Sol (MAS)

Lieutenant General Bill Clawford of the Sol Colonial Corps is in charge of forming a new branch of the main army, the colonial army. It will serve as the main army to protect Sol from any threats and will be supported and trained by some military officials from the mainland. He stood from his position and walked to the window of his office, there he can see a large part of the plain being converted into various military facilities and training areas, he then reads the context of a paper he held, it listed the newly arrived weapons and supplies such as the standard rifle of the colonial army, an 1871 Martini-Henry rifle, ammunition, uniforms, gears and much more, many questioned as to why the higher ups only allows to use outdated or rather ancient weapons such as the Martini-henry, apparently, they are does not want to release their technology yet and furthermore the technological gap is too vast, they would be like some caveman being taught by them to use guns, therefore the government only released limited knowledge and technology, there will be ten ships to be commissioned under the colonial army, four are dreadnoughts and the rest are transport ships, several units of improve biplane and drones, it will take many time before the natives to learn how to operate a ship and the biplane so they recruited instructors from the mainland to teach the future crew and pilots.

...

Jill was a former peasant who works at his farm, he only gain a very small amount of money from his yield, his former lord taxed them unreasonable price, however he can't complain because all of those who complained were killed, after their lord sold them, he thought he can expect for the worse to come, but to the goddess of light's mercy, their new lord wasn't a cruel and corrupt, rather a very kind lord who helped him and his co-farmer, they were taught new knowledge regarding farming, such as the use of fertilizer, organic fertilizer and the new method of farming, normally they can't plant crops at winter, but now the terrans introduce and gave them new crop seeds and plants to grow for the winter. Massive greenhouses was also constructed they said it protects the plants from pests, freezing climate and gave the plant it also the growth rate of the plants, the new government offered them the facilities, but of course not for free, they said it was a 'loan' where they can just pay later when they have enough money to pay or pay it little by little with a small amount of interest, the greenhouses and farm improvement offered to them was very promising, furthermore the tax was lowered greatly, they only need to pay 10% of their income when they sell their crops, but it only apply to farmers who have farm in large scale, medium scale farmers only need to pay 5% and no need tax needed to pay for minor and small scale farmers, though there are still some payment needed such as irrigation which is not really a problem.

Him and his parents farm in large scale, they were about to sell their land due to debts, but it was all paid thanks to the loan they get from the Bank of Sol, though they are still in debt, at least they can start new with the new laws and policies not choking them, they can pay their debts after some years without worrying of someone knocking on their doors holding swords and threatening their lives.

Jill has three more siblings, two are girls and one is a boy, he's the eldest son in their family, his siblings is studying in the newly built school in the neighboring town, they also help him and his parents with their farm.

His family are now having supper, unlike before, they now enjoys a more free life, a whole roast chicken is their meal for tonight with some side dishes, he then talks to his parents.

"Mother, father. I have something to talk about with you."

"Hm? What is it Jill?"

Jill then handed a piece of paper to his parents, on the paper, a man wearing a top hat while pointing is displayed, the text under the man says 'Your country needs you! Join the colonial army of Sol and fight for your family and the glory of New Terra!'.

"Wh–what...don't tell me—"

"Yes. Mother, father, I want to join the army."

His siblings then interrupted. "But brother! Do you know a military man goes to dangerous place and fight wars!?"

Their father gestured silencing everyone. "That's enough. Jill, why do you want to join the army?"

"Father...you know that I'm aspiring to be one...since I was a child I wanted to be one, I want to give our family honor and protect everyone."

"But being a soldier is not the only way to protect us you know?"

His father sighed. "Fine. If that's what you want, but I hope you know the consequences of joining the army, if you're unlucky it will cost your life."

Jill smiled. "Thank you, father!"

His mother was aggravated. "Honey what are you talking about!? Are you going to let our son be killed!?"

"Silence, Hanna. He's old enough to make his own decision, it's his dream and a very honorable one, do you want to just keep him here in the farm to rot?"

His mother still insisted but gave up later on. "But...what if...what if...Alright. I won't force you anymore."

"Thank you, mother!"

"So, when are you going to leave?"

"Next week, some of my friends in the village will join as well, and the salary of a soldier is quite high with three gold per month, there's also many benefits such as healthcare assistance, family assistance services and financial support when I retire."

"I see, let's continue eating then before our food gets cold."

His family eats their supper with mixed emotions, as for Jill, it's his dream and he want to pursue it.

Time skip

Jill with his friends, Kin, Aya and Leo met up at the town square of the Ceves Town, they are waiting for their service to get them to the military academy, there are many people gathered in the square, roughly 130 people gathered, most of them were middle age men and younger people, there are some women included.

They were waiting for their service to arrive, most likely horse carriages. Then a mumbling sound was heard, it gets louder, as time went by, everyone looked on a hill where the main roads are.

"Hey look!"

"Wh–what are those!?"

"Green carriages? But where is the horse?"

Everyone started to mumble, curious as to how the green carriages was able to move without any horse, eventually the carriages came into a much clearer view, there are 15 of them, the carriages parked themselves on the side of the town square, they were able to see that someone was inside of the carriages who seem to be operating it, three men who seem important then exited their cars and stood in front of the crowd, they were a gray military uniform and trousers, a grey and black military cap, long dark boots and various medals and fancy design on their uniform, a patch on the shoulder, it is very similar to a German officer back in world war 2.

The man in the center then begun to speak. "Greetings, I am Lieutenant Flint Marx of the Sol Colonial Corps. I'm appointed to gather and deliver all of you to the military academy, I want you all to make five columns and wait for your name to be called before hoping into the military trucks."

Everyone begun to move and formed a five column line, it took more than 15 minutes for everyone to be called, Jill and his friends was the last to be called, he was instructed to only bring basic items such as clothes, extra money and personal items such as photos or family memorabilias.

He hoped into the 'truck', a seemingly like soldier helped him to get in, he wore a strange green military uniform and a green helmet with long brown leather boots, there's a magi-musket on his back but it was too short to be one.

Jill felt excited and nervous at the same time, then the truck begun to rumble, he was spooked for a moment but a soldier calmed him down, they then begun to move.

"A—amazing! How can this thing move?"

Jill was very fascinated, he can't wait to arrive at the military academy, the soldier beside him said that they will cross over various towns and the city before reaching the military academy, he look forward as to what await him in there.
