Hello everybody this chapter was a pain to translate. Do not hesitate to report mistakes, there may be some.

His blood spilled on the floor and I stood up. I saw the bear next to me, its jaw still soaked with blood. He then sniffed my charred arm, then screams rang out. Until a pack of 20 bears came out and surrounded me growling at me. Until a louder growl sounded, it was the bear I had saved. He walked towards me again before a window appeared in front of me.

<The chief of the Garonne Bears recognizes you as the leader of the pack will you accept?>

"Yes." 

<You are now the leader of the Garonne Bears.>

<New title acquired> : Chief of the Garonne Bears.>

<Evolution condition Reach level 100 and Name your companions.>

"The conditions of evolution that's interesting. But do they understand my orders, that's the most important thing."

I watched them wait for me to say something so I might as well try.

"Live hidden, I'll come get you when the time comes." (Logan)

They then looked at me and left while the former pack leader bowed before slipping away.

"So they understand when I talk to them." I said as I looked at my charred arm now completely black.

These were definitely third-degree burns (also called full-thickness burns) involving all three layers of the skin (epidermis, dermis, and fatty layer). The blood vessels and nerve endings are also destroyed. As they are destroyed I should not feel pain, but I risk severe infections that can cause my death.

I got up and walked back to the little village, it had been about 45 minutes. Aria was still sleeping in the hammock and I wake her up. She rubbed her eyes before looking at me and giving a little scream. I had blood all over my face and clothes and a burned arm.

"What happened to you!" (Aria)

"It's just a little incident." (Logan)

"But your arm doesn't hurt?" She said, touching it.

"Ah if you press it, it sure hurts."  (Logan)

"Ah, sorry! But we need to get you to a healer quickly!" (Aria)

"You forget we have a quest to complete." (Logan)

"With your arm in this state!" (Aria)

"Listen, it's okay, we have a little time left, I'll go buy some bandages and don't say anything about it."  (Logan)

"Okay." (Aria)

I washed my face and changed my clothes. We then go to the nearest store. I bought the bandages and wet them before wrapping them around my arm. Completely covering the burned area from my fingers to my shoulder. I tried to move my fingers, they moved but with great difficulty like my arm.

Once that was done, I headed to the meeting point. Alfred's group was waiting for us at the entrance of the forest.

"You're late." (Lewis)

"Sorry I overslept a bit it's my fault." (Logan)

"Why is your right arm covered in bandages?" (Alfred)

"I had a little problem, nothing serious." (Logan)

"Very well we are going to enter in the forest, young girl stays well behind us." Said Alfred smiling.

The request in question was the elimination of High Orcs who had suddenly appeared. They then attacked the village and killed some D-rank adventurers. Before establishing their own village in the forest, in conclusion it is a brief mission of subjugation. High Orcs are one of the evolutions of normal Orcs and are usually around level 70.

We moved quietly through the forest towards the area where they had been seen. Before we saw a small group of 3 high Orcs patrolling around their own village.

"Lewis, Reinard!" Said Alfred to give them an order.

They came out and got the attention of the high Orcs before bombarding them with a massive attack with the fire element. Who burned the Orcs badly. 

"It can't be pleasant." I thought as I recalled how my arm had ended up in that condition.

Alfred came out and quickly finished them off without them being able to react.

"So you saw, that's how we do it ." Said Lewis taunting me.

I disappeared from his sight to stop an attack from a new High Orc that had appeared. Before he ended up impaled by multiple spikes coming out of the ground.

"And that's how I do it." I say, looking at him.

"Thank you." Said Alfred thanking me for helping his companion as I walked away from them to join Aria.

"Reinard you saw like me?" (Alfred)

"Magic of earth and wind." (Reinard)

"He used wind magic to move faster and parry the attack in an unconventional way. Before killing the Orc by impaling him." (Reinard)

"Reinard, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" (Alfred)

"The magic shield skill." (Reinard)

"An excellent ability and most importantly he couldn't use his right arm. I don't know where he got that but good for us." Said Alfred smiling greedily.

"Let's put the plan into action, this asshole is starting to get on my nerves." Said Lewis as he joined them.

"Yes be ready." (Alfred)

The three men smiled as they looked at Logan who was in the distance with Aria.

They finally arrived at the Orc village with a simple but effective strategy. The 3 men launched a gigantic fire attack in the air right on the village. The flames fell back, starting to burn everything in their path.

"Let's go!" Alfred shouted as the High Orcs came out of the burning village.

But as Logan ran in their direction Alfred and his companions stayed behind. With big smiles on their faces, they sent Aria flying with a violent blow. Aria landed next to him with a bloody face.

"Since you love this beast girl so much, die with her." Threw Alfred revealing his true face to Logan.

As Logan was now surrounded by thirty high Orcs ready to kill them. Aria had come to her senses and was clutching Logan's cloths.

"Run away and leave me here..." She said in a weak voice as blood poured from her head.

Logan stood up and carried Aria in his arms.

"What are you doing?" (Aria)

"It was never about leaving you behind." (Logan)

Logan hit the ground and a circular earth barrier surrounded them. As the Orcs rushed to destroy it striking with all their might. While the Orcs were hitting, I closed my eyes to concentrate I only got 60/210 of my mana back. There were about twenty Orcs hitting the fence, ten more waiting. The first time I came to this world, I killed goblins.

"Then I would also kill you in the same way!" (Logan) 

Outside the protection, the ground collapsed sharply making the high Orcs fall. As they reached the bottom they ended up impaled on spikes.

<Exceeded computing capacity your mana drops to zero.>

I broke through the protection still holding Aria in my arms who was looking at all the dead High Orcs in the pit in amazed. The remaining High Orcs charged at me but their physical attack was useless. But a light dazzled me and I had to dodge a fireball as I saw Alfred and his group in the distance.

"I see." (Logan)

I employed more computing power to move faster.

With control vectors I reduce the air resistance. And I apply physical forces on my body. This allows me to move faster.

I picked up one of the giant swords that the dead Orcs had left behind. With the speed, I cut off the heads of 7 High Orcs. As I prepared to parry an attack from one of the Orcs, a flame attack came towards me. As I felt my speed slowing down, the ground had been turned into deep mud. It was another move by that bastard Alfred.

I jumped as far as I needed to dodge as the Orcs ended up charred. Once I landed, I killed the two remaining Orcs as fast as I could. But what I didn't notice was Alfred's group now surrounding me. A massive fire attack came towards me and in this situation I could not dodge it. I couldn't carry Aria anymore if I wanted to get out of this.  So I threw her into the air as hard as I could and created walls to protect me from the flames. Before I jumped up too and threw the sword that cut off Reinard's head in a bloodbath.

"Reinard!" Lewis shouted as his companion's body fell to the ground. 

As a new attack of flames came at me in the air. But this time it was only coming from Lewis enraged by Reinard's death.

"Back to the sender." I said as the flames returned to him at a greater speed.

What nooo!" He said before dying, charred by his own attack"?

Only Alfred was left while I got Aria back, before landing on the ground quietly with her.

"How did you do that!" He said with a trembling voice falling to the ground realizing that he could not do anything alone.

"Answer my question and I'll let you go back alive. Why did you want to kill me?"

"I have the looting ability I can steal a skill from a dead body." (Alfred)

"I see so you were planning to kill and loot me."

"I told you what you wanted to know, right? Let me go now. He said shakily waiting for my answer."

"I lied, did you really think you were going to leave here alive after trying to kill me?" (Logan)

"You bastard!" (Alfred)

I moved in front of him and thrust a sword into his stomach. Then I cut laterally opening his belly. So that he would bleed to death in a long and terrible agony.

"You only have yourself to blame." I say as I watch him bleed to death.
