Hey everyone,
I got on the trending page on RoyalRoadl and got a reader/follower spike. Long story short, I decided to do a poll about ratings as those increased as well and I'd like to get input here too.
Anyway, here's the chapter and I hope you enjoy.

Last Edit: 9/5/19

The light of the low sun illuminated the private firing range that Marty had brought the four young ladies to.

“So?  Why did you ask us out here?” Morgan asked as Marty double-checked the contents of the table.

“Some extracurricular lessons,” He replied with a smile. “Tell me, what are these on the table?”

“I don’t know,” Caelia answers. “Isn’t that something the person who was in the room where we teleported into was holding?” She continued as she pointed at one of the objects.

“Yes, that is called a pistol.  These are all weapons from my world called guns.  They aren’t difficult to use, and their level of lethality is high.  On the off chance that you run into them, I want to make sure you understand their danger and how they work.”

“Understandable.  A lack of information can cause death.” Morgan said with a nod.

“Firstly they are ranged weapons like an arrow except more varied and much faster thus being more lethal.”

“How much faster?” Caelia asked.

“Depending on the wielder and the bow and arrows, an arrow can fly between 50 to 125 m/s though this can be increased with Ki as my highest is over 150 m/s.  In comparison, a gun takes the wielder out of the equation besides aiming. The ammunition and gun determine the speed and lethality. They range from 300 to over 1200 m/s.”

A look of shock came over the older two girls.

“That’s so fast,” Morgan said in a whisper.

“How are you supposed to defend yourself against that?” Caelia asked. “I don’t think that can even be seen.”

Marty nodded. “The bullet comes out from this end; thus, its direction is based upon that.  Assuming you can determine the bullet’s path based on that and move preemptively, it isn’t impossible to dodge.  If you are close enough, you can usually disarm the opponent before it is fired. Ki can also probably protect you, but I get the feeling that the amount needed would be staggering depending on the type of ammunition.  I might ask for the use of the arena to test it out, but until then do not assume you can. Destruction Magic is your best bet.” Marty said as he began to take apart a cartridge. “This is the bullet. It is fired from the gun using the same principle as the explosion magic I taught Morgan.  This powder ignites, and the gasses produced expand in the cartage, which pushes the bullet forward. The bullet is what would have to be destroyed and quickly. Any questions?”

“How far can a bullet travel?” Morgan asked.

“If you ignore accuracy, it is dependent on the gun and ammunition again as well as the firing angle. I’d say the range would be 200 to 2500 meters.”

“That’s so far,” Caelia said. “Even our best Elven archers could only fire around 250 meters until they could no longer aim with accuracy.”

“The biggest worry is getting shot without even being aware, but I doubt you will have to worry about that.  At any rate, I’m now going to go over the basic types of guns. Going in the order that they are laid out we have a Pistol, Machine Pistol, Submachine Gun, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and Sniper Rifle.  The sun’s starting to go down, so I’m going to postpone some of the weapon demonstrations. First, I’m going to do a demonstration with this sniper rifle.” Marty said as he went prone with it. “I’m going to aim for that blue target.  It is about 500 meters out.”

“Can you hit it?” Morgan asked.

“It’s been a while since I fired one, but it should be close enough that it won’t require much compensation,” Marty replied as he put on some ear protection. “You should cover your ears; it’s loud.”

The four of them covered their ears as he took his position.   He calmed himself and breathed slowly and focused as he aimed. As he did so, he felt his eyes tingle.  His vision slightly changed as he exhaled and took the shot.

“It seems to have hit the target and I didn’t see the bullet,” Caelia observed.

“I think we would hear it from a long way away,” Morgan added.

“The bullet travels faster than sound so you would get hit before you hear it. At best you could see the muzzle flash.” Marty clarified as he got up. “By the way, is there anything different about my… eyes.” He said with a slight pause as what he saw surprised him.

On top of his normal vision, he could now see what appeared to be thermal imagery with the same color scheme, which remained even when he blinked. Only Cali was different as she appeared black instead of a cold blue.

“What’s wrong?” Marty asked them as they all had a look of surprise.

“Your eyes are red and look like Shiro’s when she fights,” Morgan replied.

“They look like the dragon’s eyes,” Caelia added timidly.

“Another change,” Marty mumbled as he attempted to relax his eyes.

“Oh, they went back to normal,” Shiro said.

“What do you mean by another change?” Morgan asked.

“Oh, nothing much,” Marty answered before he blinked with his inner eyelids.  He found the overreaction of the girls, except for Cali, was totally worth it.

“““What was that?””” The three of them exclaimed.

“It seems I have inner eyelids now.  It seems I’ve become a monster.” He replied with a solemn expression.

“What are you talking about?” Shiro asked as she tilted her head cutely. “Martel is Martel, not a monster.”

Marty’s expression changed to one of surprise and relief.  His inhuman changes had bothered him more than he realized.

“Oh wait, I’m not supposed to call you Martel,” Shiro added. “Marty is Mar- hi!” She made a cute noise of surprise as Marty hugged her.

“Thank you, Shiro.”

Her look of surprise changed to a smile as she began to purr.

“How long are you going to do that?” Morgan asked with knitted eyebrows after a couple of seconds while she tapped his shoulder.

“Why don’t you just be honest and say that you want to switch places with-”

“Like hell!” She exclaimed as she punched his face.

“Can it be increased with Ki?” Caelia asked as she looked at the pistol inquisitively.

“It wouldn’t serve many purposes,” Marty answered. “Because of the quick-moving parts, it’s only effective to fill it with Ki unless you can only reinforce only the bullet.  Even then, it shouldn’t particularly increase its effectiveness unless you are up against a Ki user. No… Wait. Maybe a Ki Manifestation? I wonder…”

“What is it?”

“I saw one of the guys in the class recreate a sword he constantly filled with Ki.  He can do it without much thought though it isn’t perfect and it’s considered a low-level Manifestation.”

“So I might be able to make a staff out of Ki then?”

“Possibly.  I was thinking, with my memory and the way my mind has changed, perhaps I could do that too.” Marty said as he picked up one of the guns. “Now then, if I’m going to do this with multiple weapons… I should call it Ki Armory.  add_new_weapon(Glock_9). Trace” He said as he closed his eyes and carefully filled the gun with his Ki. “Analyze. save_to_Ki_Armory(Glock_9).” Marty finished as he put the gun down and saved what he remembered to his mind. “Run Ki_Armory(Glock_9).” He focused the Ki into his hand and imagined the gun.  A couple of seconds later a light blue transparent Glock 9 appeared in his hand. “That’s not good. It took too long to Manifest, and it doesn’t have the finer details.” Marty said before he pointed the Ki Glock downrange. *click click* “Oh? It’s a failure, but it makes a misfire sound, so it isn’t a complete one.” Marty mumbled to himself before he looked at the girls. “What… What’s wrong?” He asked them bewildered as all of their faces appeared lifeless.

“I don’t know why, but I feel sick to my stomach,” Morgan said.

“What’s wrong with you?”

“I have this lingering feeling of dread,” Caelia added.

“It wasn’t that weird... was it?”

“That was lame,” Shiro also added.

“I just did something very complicated on my first try that others may never be able to do!”

“I want to die,” Cali said deadpan.

“Do you even know what death is?  You aren’t even alive in the first place so you can’t die!...  Well, all jokes aside, you girls can head inside now. I’m going to lock these up. We’ll go over them in more detail later.  After I’m done, we are going to go over a new way to improve your Ki I just found out about.”

“More training?” Morgan complained.

“Of a sort. Don’t worry, it isn’t intensive, and you can skip it if you want. It’s a bit personal. Who wants to go first?”

“I do!” Shiro said as she raised her hand energetically.

“Okay, I’ll get you later,” Marty replied with a smile. “See you girls in a bit.”

...

The couch creaked as Shiro jumped onto Martel’s lap. He initially planned to do the training in the main bedroom, but he thought Morgan might kill him.

“What’s the training?” Shiro asked as she leaned toward him cutely.

“It’s a little intimate, so you don’t have to do it,” Marty replied. “It’s a slightly complex method that involves putting a lot of one person’s Ki into another’s body.”

“Okay, that’s fine.”

“Are you sure?  My Ki is energy from my body and carries my will. It’s kind of… personal.”

“But it’s yours, so it’s fine,” She replied without giving a second thought.

Marty smiled. “Okay, are you ready?” He asked to which she nodded in affirmation. “Then, I’ll begin.”

Slowly, Marty extended his Ki into her body.  She flinched and made cute squeals as he did.

“Are you alright?” Marty asked her.

“Yes,” She replied with a nod. “It just tingles a bit and feels strange.”

“Okay, I’ll continue then.”

He started to use more Ki and focused it into and circulated it through her body, where it was absorbed.  The general idea was to forcibly increase the amount of maximum Ki a person can have by using someone else’s Ki to strengthen the body.

“Say, Shiro, what did you mean when you said that I’m not a monster?”

“But you aren’t a monster,” She replied with a confused expression.

“What if I turn into a dragon?  Like the one we saw.”

“You would still be you, right?”

“I guess.”

“Then you won’t be a monster.  I won’t ever be afraid of you.” She said with an adorable smile.

Marty donned a smile of his own as he hugged her tightly.

“I love you, Shiro.”

She flinched slightly at his words.  After a couple of seconds, her cheeks turned a bit pink, possibly due to the big smile she had.

“I’m happy,”

“I can see that.”

“It’s the first time you told me you love me.”

“You’re right.”

“I love you too,”

“I’m happy to hear that.”

“Does this mean I can have your baby now?”

The silence that occurs due to his surprise by her bluntness was soon filled with his laughter.

“I told you.  If you still feel that way after you become an adult, then yes.”

She made a cute giggle before she settled onto him.

“Shiro, how would you feel if Morgan or Caelia want to marry me or have my baby too?” Marty asked with some hesitancy.

“That would be great!” She immediately exclaimed.

“W-why?” Marty asked, taken aback by her enthusiasm.

“Because then we would be a real family!  I always wanted a little brother or sister, so I want my baby to have one!”

“I see.  So you only want one then?”

“Huh?  I can have more than one?” She asked with a look of honest surprise.

“If you want to,” Marty replied with a chuckle at the unusual conversation.

The happy expression that filled her face was indescribable in its level of adorableness.  After a few seconds, it turned to embarrassment as she cutely pressed her index fingers together.

“Then… Then can I be your wife too? Your real wife, not pretend wife.”

“Of course.”

With a big smile, she turned and hugged him. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Marty replied as he hugged her back.

He was serious; but also conflicted. When he fought Fafnir, he realized how much he cared for all the girls. He didn’t want to disappoint any of them, which left him indecisive or prompted him to make promises he wasn’t sure he would keep. He still had monogamy hardwired into his beliefs from his upbringing and culture. Part of him also missed Freyja, and he was trying to fill that void which left him to overcompensate with his care of the girls.

As these complex and complicated thoughts that even he couldn’t understand well passed through his mind, he continued to share his Ki with Shiro.  As he did so, his mind began to wander. He thought the changes to his body and what had happened since his fight with the Red Dragon, Fafnir. It was when his mind went over the events of when he saved Morgan after the fight.  The Ki Dragon he created in his exhaustion with Ki that was red instead of the usual light blue.

“Warm,” Shiro said softly, which brought him out of his thoughts.

He opened his eyes and became startled and worried about what he saw. “Are you okay, Shiro?” He asked in a slight panic.

“Why wouldn’t I be?” She asked with an inquisitive look as she separated herself from him slightly. “Your Ki is red?  I like it.” She said as she closed her eyes and gave a gentle smile. “It’s warm and gentle just like you.”

“Thank you, Shiro,” He replied as he hugged her gently, to her approval.

...

“You want to do what to me!?!” Morgan exclaimed in slight panic after Marty explained what they would be doing.

“I won’t force you, but you will be the one to gain the most from this training.  Even though the amount of Ki you have is quite high for Albion, for Abductees, it’s a low amount.  Unfortunately, you will have to do some combat, and you will slowly lose the element of surprise that helped you against Carl.  Unless you raise your Ki, you will not be able to keep up. If you’re going to fight, I would rather you don’t get hurt, even if you can be completely healed.”

“... Fine.  So that you know, I’m not doing this for you.  I want to get stronger.”

“I understand.  Now place your head on my lap.”

With a slightly angry expression, she placed her head on his lap and let her hair flow across and beyond it.

“This isn’t going to be like when you open my Ki Points, is it?” She asked me with an accusatory look.

“I have no idea. I’ve only done this with Shiro, who would be too young to feel those effects regardless.  I guess we’ll have to find out the hard way.” Marty replied with an evil smile.

She flinched, and a brief look of terror came over her face before she returned to her regular, dignified expression. “Just hurry up and get it over with.”

“As you wish,” Marty replied as he placed his hand just below her neck.

Seconds passed as he rested his hand there.  She began to fidget as her face reddened, and her breathing intensified slightly.

“Are you okay?” Marty asked.

“It... It isn’t as bad… as when you opened my Ki points.  But… I can still feel it.”

“Is that the case?  Now that is strange, considering I haven’t started yet.”

Her eyes opened in shock as she looked at him before she looked down and confirmed that there was no Ki.

“Liar! Why is your hand so hot then?”

“That’s just my normal body temperature now.  Now let’s start the real thing.” Marty said with an evil smile.

“No!” She exclaimed as she struggled to get up.

“Oh no, you don’t,” Marty replied as he pinned her down with his hand. “You have already agreed to this, and I haven’t even started yet.”

“Let me go you pervert!”

“And, for some reason, you followed this pervert back to his world where you have no servants or status.” He placed his hand on her chin. “Did you not think I would take advantage of you?”

She turned her head away from him and no longer resisted.

“What’s this?  Were you expecting me to?”

“Like hell!” She exclaimed as she punched him in the face.

“I’ll never know unless you tell me,” He said as he removed her fist with his other hand. “Also, unless she changes her mind beforehand, Shiro wants to marry me.  Unless you’re okay with polygyny, I’m afraid there’s a limit to how close we can become.”

“Wha?” She barely managed to say through her look of shock.

“Is it that surprising?”

“I thought you were just humoring her.”

“I have a hard enough time lying to women in general.  Much less innocent little girls. There is no way I wouldn’t take such an important conversation seriously and not be willing to take responsibility.”

“I see. That’s good for her then.  If you weren’t, I’d have to burn you.” She said with an angry expression.

“I’ll hold you to it,” He replied with a small laugh. “Now let’s get started.” He continued with an evil smile.

“Hi!!!” She squealed as he focused his Ki into her body and Ki Core.

To her credit, Marty used more Ki with her then with Shiro.  After a short period, Marty noticed similar symptoms from before.

“How is it?” He asked her.

“It’s bearable,” She said tight eyed and lipped.

“That’s good because I’m going to change the nature of my Ki now.”

“You’re going to do what? Hi!” She squealed cutely as his Ki turned red. “Hot.” She barely managed to get out.

“Is it hot?  Shiro said it was warm and gentle and I’m not using more Ki now than with her.”

“It doesn’t hurt... But... Hiiii!!!  It feels kind of like... When you opened my Ki points.”

Sounds from her begin the take on an erotic tone as she squirmed slightly while her entire face became a shade of pink.

...

“That’s all for today,” Marty said a short time later to Morgan as she faced away from him in an attempt to hide her face. “We will continue this tomorrow night.”

Her head jerked as she turned to look at him. “I don’t think I could do this every day!” She exclaimed in protest.

“Fine, fine. We’ll work something out that you are better able to handle.” Marty replied with a chuckle. “Go get Caelia.”

...

“You asked for me?” Caelia tentatively asked while she peeked around the door.

“Is something wrong?” Marty asked her as he was confused by this apparent shyness.

“It’s just… I’m a little worried after seeing Morgan’s face.”

“A valid worry,” Marty said with a chuckle. “Are you coming in?” He said as he patted the seat next to him.

Hesitantly, she made her way to him.  It was then that he noticed that her skin had become slightly darker than usual.  Though it was not as bronzed as it was that one moonlit night, it was still readily noticeable.  Marty took a second to take in the pleasant sight.

“You’ve been training how to utilize your Dark Elf blood, have you?” Marty asked her as she sat down next to him.

“Yes.  It becomes easier when the moon’s out, especially the full moon.  I can’t completely revert until morning, though.”

“I see.  Well, I’m glad that you are practicing.” He replied as he reached over the side of the couch and grabbed an item he had prepared in advance. “Why don’t you rest your head here?” He said as he tapped his leg.

She hesitated before she moved over to lay down.  However, to her surprise, Marty quickly got up. The lack of his immediate presence momentarily stunned her as her head struck the couch, which caused her to emit a cute squeal.  Marty quickly tied up her feet with the rope he had grabbed a short time ago.

“What?” She asked in a small shock as she looked at her feet.

“Now you can’t run away from me,” Marty said with a smile as he once again took his seat before he lifted her head to rest on his lap. “Do you remember what you said some time ago?  That after it was all over, you wanted to talk to me. So what did you want to tell me?”

“... It… It’s nothing.” She replied as she turned her head to face away from him to hide the fact that her face had changed to match the color of her hair.

“Nothing that we say leaves this room without our permission.  Sometimes, it’s better to say instead of keeping it in. All we’re going to do is talk, please.”

“We are only going to talk?”

“And nothing else.”

She took a deep breath before she looked him in the face. “I... I lo...” She began before she started to hyperventilate and appeared to panic.

“It’s okay,” Marty gently said as he took hold of her opposite hand so that he slightly hugged her. “Shhhh, relax. It’s okay, you know? It’s okay for you to say it. It’s okay for you to mean it. It’s okay for you to feel it.”

His words seemed to take some effect as her moist eyes snapped open.  She looked him in the eye as her hand slowly squeezed his. Her breath calmed as they remained with their eyes locked before she began to speak again. “I… I love you,” She said with a whisper.

At her words, Marty smiled and gently held her hand tighter.  After a couple of seconds, he looked up. “I do not know if it was because I was on my own for a large portion of my life, or if I think differently than others, but I find that most of my ideologies and concepts differ from societies.  One of which is the idea that you can only truly love one person. Feeling that way about more than one person is hypocritical and is looked down on. I never understood this. I understand being true to one person, which I fully believe, but why then does it mean I only love that person?  I think I finally realized the answer. It’s a delusion because loving more than one person and being with only one is too painful, and I can’t help it. I love Freyja, I love Morgan, I love Shiro, I love Cali, and I love you.” He said as tears formed in his eyes. “Even after everything that I put you through. I…” He paused as if he wanted to say something.

A soft expression appeared on Caelia’s face as she gently placed her hand on the side of his.

“It was my father’s decision. I know you didn’t want to and probably agonized over it for quite some time after, but it ended the war and spared lives.  You honored and respected him to the end. Rather, it’s I who doesn’t deserve you to love me. After… After the dual I…, I snuck into the room and almost killed you in your sleep.”

“I know.”

“I don’t… Wait… You know?” She said with a look of shock and terror.

“Yes, I was awake.”

“You… were awake?” She said as she twitched from embarrassment before she tried to get up.

“You’re not going anywhere,” He said as he held her down. “I’m not angry, and I don’t mind.”

“Really?” She asked in disbelief. “Then… Then you forgive me?”

“Your feelings at the time were completely understandable, and you decided not to go through on your own. In summary, no.  I don’t forgive you because there’s nothing to forgive.”

A look of relief came over her face. “Thank you,” She whispered. “Then… Then you haven’t done anything that needs my forgiveness either.”

“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.  To answer your feelings, you need to hear me completely.  I love you too. You need to be aware; I can only promise to do everything in my power to make you emotionally satisfied.  If you desire physical satisfaction, I’m afraid I can only provide that if you’re okay with polygyny as I promised to marry Shiro once she becomes an adult.” He replied in a slightly joking tone.

The look of shock that came over her face before she shrunk away as her face turned a darker shade of crimson.

“It’s okay,” She whispered.

“Huh?” Marty said with an unsure blink.

“That was the original plan anyway,” She replied meekly.

“… Okay, now I’m completely lost.  What plan?”

“Freyja’s plan,” She said as she grew more and more embarrassed.

“Tell me.”

“Well… To summarize, she noticed my feelings for you very quickly.  She said it wouldn’t be strange if you took more than one wife and that she suspected that Shiro would eventually become your wife as well.”

“Did… Did she say why she felt that way?”

“She said powerful men are weak to sensual pleasures.  But, she said that you are also different than the other men.  The more I’ve gotten to know you, the more I agree with her. You love too easily, and you can’t bring yourself to hurt women, especially emotionally, even when you know doing so would mean they can get hurt even more so.  She also said that you would feel responsible for me and would do everything you could to make me happy. The eventual result would be you… giving in. She felt it was only a matter of time. Because of this, she wanted to be friends with me because she wanted to have good ties with anyone else you married.”

“I’m not sure what to think about this,” Marty mumbled under his breath.

“She said having multiple wives was normal, though.”

“I found that out much later though only for the nobles.  How was it done in your village?”

“We didn’t have marriage per se.  It varied based on the values of the type of Demihuman.  Some had partners for life, some had multiple partners, while others obtained a temporary partner based on their needs or their desire to have children.  My parents were life-partners.”

“I see.  That explains Shiro’s reaction.”

“Reaction?”

“Why asked her about the possibility of you or Morgan also marrying me, she got excited.  She said it would make us a real family and wanted her children to have siblings. She was under the impression that you can only have one child.”

“Ah, yes, that’s right.  She thinks that way because neither of us has siblings, and multiple children were rare due to our lack of resources.  We had to avoid the topic because our questioning would always lead to how children were made. Her parents decided to wait until after her naming ceremony, but that never happened.”

“I see,” Marty said as he changed into his sly smile and ran his finger down the top of her leg. “So I take it that you know.”

To his words, she shuddered, and her face became even redder in embarrassment.

“Don’t worry, I told you, we are only going to talk.  Besides, we should wait to ensure that we do so because of our honest feelings for each other, and not so that we can escape our pain.  Like I already said, if you find someone else, I’ll support you. But if we do… That… I’m never going to let you go.” He said as he took her chin to face him.

“You will take care of Shiro and me, right?” She asked me with a surprisingly innocent tone and steady gaze.

“If you so desire, with and for my life.”

For a short amount of time, they looked into each other’s eyes and engrossed in their mutual feeling of comfort.

“Now then, we can get to your training.”

“Huh?” She asked before her face turned into one of panic.

“Just relax, it will be fine,” Marty replied as he began to move his Ki through her body.

She hid it quite well, but her physiology made her more susceptible to the feeling of pleasure.  Very cutely, she began to squirm under his hand. After a short amount of time, while he continued to observe her as she maintained her closed eyes, he switched to his Red Ki.  Her mouth opened, and her breath became sporadic. Her skin took on a slightly more bronzed look while her cheeks became somewhat reddened. As they continued, this only furthered and was followed by a slight shine from the sweat coming from her body.

“What… What’s happening to me? Hiiiiii!!!” She squealed erotically as her whole body began to shake, which caused Marty to stop. “What… What happened?” She asked as she continued to pant and shiver.

“Next time… Next time we are not going to do this so long, or at night.” Marty replied with a solemn expression as he untied her feet. “Go clean up and ready for bed.” He finished as he walked away with the sound of her sporadic breath.

[I don’t think it will be as long of a session as I initially thought if this happens again.]  He thought as exited the room with a heavy thump in his chest.

End of Day -135
