Sephiroth stood at the edge of the round floating platform, gazing at the red battlefield. Those on the battlefield didn't realize that from Earth battlefield was upside down.

And right now, those who use the equipment to see could see Thanos, standing over the fallen Avengers, X-Men, Wakandan's, Fantastic Four, God of Thunders. And other allied forces.

Even Thanos didn't get away without injuries, but he was still standing.

"I still haven't found Thanos...there aren't many that could hide him from my sight...which means," Sephiroth raised his hand, and Masamune materialized in it. He slashed the space in front, opening a direct route to the battlefield.

He walked in, stepping in front of Thanos, who raised his head, "Which one are you?"

"Sephiroth...man, you are late to the party," Wolverine leaned against the rock, with knives pierces in his body. There was a scarlet barrier covering his body just like it covered others.

Sephiroth stepped closer to Thanos, looking at part of the army still standing. Even this wasn't without loss; his Black Order was either dead or incapacitated.

Thanos fixed his gaze at Sephiroth, "Just you alone have come to face my army?"

Sephiroth glanced down Banner and Steve, lying on Thanos's legs, "You lost."

Steve coughed, with blood all over his body, "This...doesn't feel like...winning."

Sephiroth raised his right hand, snapping his fingers, and reality-warping energy spread out. But Thanos used the gauntlet to counter this energy, "You are an arrogant one."

Sephiroth raised his cat-like green eyes, "And you are foolish being used as a pawn only to be a sacrificial victim."

"Trying to rattle me?" Thanos stepped forward in arrogance, "For this, I will let you watch your army destroy your planet."

"Army?" Sephiroth looked behind him when a gargantuan amount of energy started getting released from Sephiroth. A black wing appeared on his back. The walls of reality around Thanos's army started breaking down, pulling them into a different dimension.

Even from the naked eye, Thanos could see another solar system appear. But his eyes were attracted to ginormous energy moving towards his army, destroying planets one after the other, even Earth, until it reached the sun.

The sun started expanding, swallowing Mercury, then Venus, then Earth, until it blasted, destroying the whole of the solar system. Not even ashes remain of Thanos's army.

"What army?" Sephiroth tilted his head, his chin raised, mockingly looking at Thanos.

Wolverine coughed out blood, laughing, "One Heartless Angel, just like you requested."

Thanos narrowed his eyes, still confident in his victory, "You are the one with the Heart, the weapon that enhanced their powers."

"Enhanced their abilities? You almost make me sound kind," Sephiroth stepped forward, and the mirage of every owner that had Innocence appeared around him. Heroes, Villians, Lover, Student, everyone.

"The Heart grants me the abilities of anyone that I have enhanced," Sephiroth narrowed his eyes, tearing forward, disappearing, appearing behind Thanos.

Eight slashes put deep cuts on Thanos's body, making him bleed like a fountain.

Sephiroth glanced back, seeing Thanos's body which was still bleeding; a smile appeared on his lips, "That makes sense."

Thanos glanced back at Sephiroth, "You are a fearsome warrior. You deserve to be arrogant."

He made a fist, using the space stone to decrease the distance between his wounds, "I will not underestimate you again."

Sephiroth turned back, with his hair flowing, he appeared in front of Thanos, slashing Masamune down, only to collide with a gauntlet powered by power stone.

Sephiroth moved his free right hand, putting it in front of Thanos, "Flare!"

Thanos's and Sephiroth's bodies got covered in a nuclear blast, a scarlet wall rose, pulling back everyone, creating a dome around Sephiroth and Thanos.

The heat burned the air, melting down the land, creating a massive crater that was the size of the largest cities. When the darkest clouds cleared, Thanos stood with just smoke marks on his body.

Sephiroth in front of him was no different, standing in the middle of a nuclear explosion without a burn mark on his body.

"You sure know how to use those stones," Sephiroth stepped back, floating in the air, "No matter. You are only delaying the inevitable."

Thanos scoffed, using the power stone to fire a beam at Sephiroth, but Sephiroth dodged the beam. He flew down towards Thanos, firing multiple energy waves towards Thanos.

Thanos teleported the slashes behind Sephiroth, but Sephiroth didn't stop. A barrier appeared behind him, reflecting the energy slashes back into the portal.

Thanos closed the portal, punching towards Sephiroth by using the power. But Sephiroth teleported, appearing at his side, creating a deep gash in his waist, "Why struggle? You haven't been able to land a single blow on me."

Thanos moved to punch his waist, but Sephiroth used his right hand to stop his punch.

Sephiroth used his left hand, which was holding Masamune, putting it on Thanos's chest, "Do you know what you can do when you have Gravity?"

Thanos tried to step back, but his fist was being held by Sephiroth. He could only watch Sephiroth's lips move, "Flare."

But this time, rather than causing a black, the force turned into a beam, pushing Thanos across the battlefield, with radiation covering his body.

Wanda had to shift other, manipulating the barrier to create a tunnel letting Thanos be carried through by energy.

The moment effects of energy started dying down, Sephiroth pulled him back through gravity, impaling the Masamune through him, "I think you have played enough with those stones."

Sephiroth raised his right hand, and the gauntlet came out from Thanos's hand, landing on Sephiroth's.

Thanos raised his hand, holding onto Masamune, coughing, "It's not over yet! I am Thanos!!!"

"No, you are not," A voice that sounded like Thanos, more grounded, sounded behind Thanos. A double-edged sword cut through his heart, coming out from his chest.

Sephiroth abruptly stepped back, seeing Thanos's body disappear in particles, merging into a Thanos standing behind him, "There can only be one, and I am."

Sephiroth smiled, "Mph, I was wondering when you are going to make your entry."

Thanos (Secret Universe) raised his head, having absorbed the being of Thanos (Omega Universe), "You don't seem surprised."

Sephiroth opened his mouth, smiling as he turned around, slashing the space to create a portal, taking the gauntlet with him, "You are not my problem."

When the portal disappeared, Thanos realized a presence behind him, "Then I guess you will be my opponent?"

He turned around to see a young man with black hair, scarlet eyes standing behind him. The Witch that had been protecting everyone used her powers to warp reality, healing everyone. She appeared beside him.

"Is that why you weren't in the war? Because you figured something out?" Thanos looked at the two with keen interest.

Jay glanced towards everyone, getting on their feet, relaxing, "When Death declared war when she told me about the deal between two parties. I started coming up with plans to how to beat this Thanos, him being much stronger than you. I came up with a simple plan to forcefully calibrate the bio-energy signature of this Thanos to yours and that of our universe. It would severely weaken his power, leaving him shocked and confused, making him easy prey."

"Don't you think you should tell that to us before the fight?" Tony walked over, still surprised.

Reed walked over, rubbing his rubbery chin, "I would have thought of that. If I had more time."

Jay glanced towards Steve, Thor, and others who were walking to him one by one, "The story is not over. When I was thinking along those lines...I realized something. Death is a concept; it wouldn't be any different from each other. The only thing that would make a difference would be the universe's own essence. So when the two universes merged, the Deaths would have started merging. The whole thing was a trap because the New Death chose you over the other Thanos. From the beginning...it was to make you stronger. When Old Thanos's wouldn't didn't heal...Sephiroth must have realized the same thing. Death...didn't grant him immortality. All this...just to have her perfect warrior."

Thanos walked over, sitting down on the rock, smiling, "I am not her warrior. We just have our interests align."

Thanos hesitated, "You are Primo's son, right? Hmm, to think that Primo's son would possess such eyes."

"Wow, Primo is like...famous," Anthony shrugged his mouth, walking closer.

"Did you know? Primo and I have met long ago," Thanos smiled.
