Domo,

"So you think you could figure out this Uni-Mind thing?" Lavena looked at the black Eternal, Phastos, the Iron Man of this group.

Phastos worked with the golden energy in the air, trying to develop bracelets that might connect them, "Yes. Can you help?"

Lavena raised her finger, pointing towards Sersi, making everyone in the room look towards her, "What? What?"

Lavena watched the Eternals, Gilgamesh, Thena, Makkari, Druig, Sersi, Sprite, Ikaris, Kingo, "I...I lied before. I wasn't just passing by, but when the earthquake hit, Sersi's face was the first thing that flashed my mind. You know that eureka moment? When you get the answer first and calculate the steps later. It's the same thing."

"Oh, some kind of premonition," Druig looked towards her with interest.

"Probably," Lavena put her hand on Sersi's chest, "When Phastos was explaining Uni-Mind, this Golden Orb flashed in my mind."

"The thing that Ajak uses to communicate with Arishem?" Phastos spoke, widening his eyes, "That's it!"

"What? What happened?" Gilgamesh woke up from Phastos's shout, looking around.

"No! That Orb! It can allow Ajak or Sersi to communicate across the Universe. There is a chance that I can use it to create the bracelets that allow us to connect! Brilliant!"

Lavena stepped back, "Oh, then we have a plan."

"It's inside Sersi; you are going to kill her!" Ikaris stood in the way, stopping them.

Sersi hesitated, putting her hand on Ikaris's upper arm, "It's not like we have a choice. Phastos, try it."

"No!" Ikaris pushed her back.

"I don't get it; what you are so angry about? The fact that Sersi is in danger. Or that all the effort you put in killing Ajak has gone to waste," Lavena leisurely walked to the corner of the room, sitting down in front of a display of flowers.

"Shut up! How dare you accuse him of something like that," Sprite shouted, protecting Ikaris.

Lavena crossed her legs, tilting her head, "You really love him...huh? Ever since he came, you have been blinded."

"You!" Sprite glared at Lavena when Kingo put his hand on her shoulder, defending her, "Why would you say something like that? Why would Boss kill Ajak?"

"I don't know why? I do know that is the reason why she didn't choose him, but Sersi."

Druig narrowed his eyes when Phastos spoke, "That part is strange...but that doesn't mean Ikaris killed Ajak...tell her, Ikaris."

Even as Phastos asked him, Ikaris stayed quiet, looking away, making Phastos take a step back, "No...you didn't..."

Lavena sighed, "You weren't there, at Ajak's place. When I went there...there weren't any signs of fighting. Instead, when the Deviant that had been powered up by Ajak's cosmic energy attacked Sersi and Sprite, it made a mess. Before absorbing her Cosmic Energy, he was weaker, so the whole house should have been the mess."

"But there was only one patch that was burnt, and when you clean it a little, there is a deep line...like it had been hit by a laser. Even since I visited the house...I have been keeping an eye on him. The closer we are to success... the more impatient he gets. He probably knew long before...probably why he left Sersi all those years ago."

Sersi watched Ikaris in terror, "Tell me...you didn't?"

"She...she wanted to stop the Emergence," Ikaris walked away from her.

Sersi covered her mouth, tears slipping down her cheek, "She loved you."

"Did she? Do you think it was easy? To keep lying to you? To live with the burden of knowing all this would end?" Ikaris gazed at her, looking at others, "If we gave humanity a choice, how many of them would be willing to die so billion more could be born?"

"We are not giving them a choice," Phastos closed his eyes, tears for Ajak covering his face, "Is this why you are willing to kill?"

"You are so pathetic!!"

"I am an Eternal, Phastos. I exist for Arishem. As do you. It's who you are."

"I wouldn't change a single thing about who I am, born on made. But I do not exist for Arishem! I exist for my family!"

"You are making the same mistake Ajak did."

"Is he though," Lavena rested her head against the wall of the ship, dazedly looking in the distance, "Take if from the niece of the man that created a whole race, of being similar to you. He doesn't want the race to exist for him, them gaining emotions, having lived, dreaming, finding a purpose that makes him happy. If Arishem feels otherwise...then it's not the fault of Eternals...the mistake is Arishems."

Ikaris looked towards Lavena, firing lasers at her. Still, before they reached her, the soul sword appeared in between, stopping them, "I have been waiting for this."

Thena walked in front of Lavena and created a shield and sword, "I have memories of before. When we are done here, our memories will just be erased, and we will be sent to the next planet. I don't want that, and I don't like the person in those memories, so I am choosing differently this time."

Gilgamesh walked over, his hands covered in gauntlets, "I can't leave now...can I?"

"You won't succeed against me, and I will kill every one of you if I have to," Ikaris fired lasers towards Phastos. But Makkari moved at immense speed, helping Phastos get out of the way.

Kingo pointed two fingers towards Ikaris, collecting cosmic energy to fire, "You do not turn against your family."

Ikaris looked towards him when he had to dodge Thena's array of attacks, her usage of different weapons, and the space left him with little room. Just as he was about to be hit, illusions of him appeared around him, helping his getaway.

"Sprite!"

Sprite walked over to Ikaris, "I'll help you."

She created an illusion, disappearing with Ikaris, leaving for now.

Shortly,

"Why did Sprite do that?" Makkari asked through sign language.

"She loves him," Lavena closed her dazed eyes, "She also envies most of you...and humans. She can't find love...grow up...and many other things because of how Arishem made her. She probably wants to stay loyal and hope that Arishem fulfills her wish the next time in return for her loyalty. Among you...she's almost human."

Kingo let out a breath, "You guys didn't pick up on that? She did...Oh well. We are leaving."

"Wait, where the hell are you going?" Phastos looked up in surprise.

"I can't help you guys...I still think that Ikaris is right. If we stop a Celestial from Emerging, then there would be billions-"

"8,584,437,460, that is the current population of Earth," Lavena evenly breathed, opening her eyes, "If you are going to say that these people have to die...so that others could exist. Then it's better if we adopt Thanos's way. We wipe out half of the Universe population regularly, and there would be no need of Celestials or expanding Universe...no new Celestial's would be needed."

"That...that is different...that is a death count of trillions."

"And? How many years have Celestials been doing this?" Lavena scoffed, standing up as she put her hand inside her jacket, biting her lip, "What's the difference...we are living in a world that was made from the blood of innocents. It disgusts me."

"Lavena!" Illyana walked after her, seeing her storm off, waving towards others, "Find a way to stop the Emergence!"

Druig watched them leave, "She's right, you know...the world as we know it is covered in the blood of innocent lives. In that right...we are no different from Thanos."

Phastos looked towards Sersi, "What do you want to do?"

Sersi wiped her tears, "Ajak...wanted to stop the Emergence..."

She walked over, "So do I."

Phastos raised his hands, "I'll try my best not to kill you."
