Eto woke up soon after she had fallen asleep in Kaneki's arms. Thinking back to last night she couldn't help but feel happy while blushing. She looked to the other side of the bed but didn't see Kaneki lying beside her. She could hear a sound coming from her kitchen so after wearing her inner garments she headed towards the kitchen and saw a familiar back who was busy making coffee. Glancing at her Kaneki said "You woke up earlier than I expected" as he poured the coffee from the beaker to the cup placed in front of him.

Passing the cup to Eto, Kaneki asked "How does your body feel now?"...Eto unconsciously grabbed the cup which was passed to her while she was still engrossed in staring at him, it was only when she felt the warmth emanating from the mug on her hands did she gained back her mind and replied softly "f-fine, I feel fine now." while looking at the ground as she leaned back on the kitchen counter ...she felt a bit embarrassed to make eye contact with him now.

"I'm glad to hear that, you should still sleep a bit more later to give rest to your body," Kaneki said as he turned around to make another cup of coffee for himself. While Kaneki was busy with himself Eto thought about how this was the first time someone had made a coffee for her without her asking for it...as she took small sips of her warm coffee. With each sip, the warmth of the coffee seemed to seep into the deepest recesses of her heart which had been left cold for as long as she could remember. 'So this is how it feels to be cared for' Eto thought to herself. When she saw Kaneki pass the coffee cup to her earlier she blanked out for a second because she had never experienced that feeling before...she never thought that a simple act of someone making a cup of coffee for her would have such an impact on her.

After pouring myself a cup of coffee I leaned back on the counter right next to Eto who seemed to be thinking about some matter as she was drinking the coffee which was almost finished now. "How was the coffee?" I asked. Eto suddenly noticed that I was right beside her and was caught off-guard. Seeing her reaction I couldn't help but chuckle a bit and ask "what were you thinking about to be so engrossed in your thoughts?"

Hearing my question Eto couldn't help but be embarrassed and turned her face away from me after she said 'Nothing'. 

'Well, looks like I'm not the only one who's embarrassed after last night's event' I thought to myself as I started to take sip of my coffee while looking at Eto. Eto seemed to notice my gaze and waited for me to look away which I obviously never did...the embarrassment soon turned into irritation as she soon looked at me and bursted out "Why are you still looking at me?!!" but seeing me still staring at her the same way as before she exclaimed "Gosh it's embarrassing me" and by the end of her burst she ended up blushing again.

"Pfttt Hahahaha" I couldn't help but laugh my lungs out at her reaction, imagining the cold and ruthless Eto in my mind to suddenly start acting like that was something I had never imagined, it was so in contrast with her character that it would make anyone surprise. Luckily I had already finished my coffee.

Seeing Kaneki laughing so much at her reaction Eto couldn't help but feel angry at him and wanted to hit him a bit but seeing his happy face she just couldn't make herself do it...out of options she just decided to go back to the bedroom in a puff of anger but was stopped midway by Kaneki who suddenly appeared behind her and hugged her from behind as he said, "I'm sorry my beautiful Eto, I never expected my wife to have such a cute side to her so I couldn't help myself." 

Hearing me Eto couldn't help but blush as she felt her previous anger fading away replacing it was a pleasant feeling of happiness...feeling that she was calm by now I asked Eto "You want to eat something?" to which Eto just shook her head. "Well it's time for you to rest then princess," I said and without waiting for her to reply I picked her up in a princess carry and took her to the bed while watching her trying hard to avoid my gaze, seeing that I couldn't help but say "You look even cuter when you act shy Eto" which resulted in her turning red from embarrassment.

After placing her on the bed I covered her with a blanket and said, "I'll be in the living room watching television if you need anything just call for me." to which Eto just nodded. 

I switched on the television and after picking up the remote I sat on the couch and changed the channel to some news channel to know what all I missed during these days.

"CCG successfully stormed the base of a ghoul organization who goes by the name of 'Aogiri Tree'  in the 11th ward after midnight, thereby dealing heavy damage to the organization but reports have been made that CCG also suffered...."

"Crazy." I said to myself..who knew CCG and Aogiri Tree were also getting fucked when I was fucking Eto last night..luckily we didn't take the normal route to the 20th ward yesterday otherwise things would have become difficult for us...
