Morning dew was rich in the air, and the sounds of birds resounded through the air. Outside, dozens of drow were busy with their morning rituals. Children were playing among the tall grass and the reeds along the pond. Inside the small temple, Rain watched the tiny things trampling over themselves.

Szordrin and Brostin were both preparing breakfast for their succubus queen. They were roasting a slab of venison, along with a small pot of rabbit stew. Brostin seemed to have recovered some of his vigor, although there were still bags under his eyes. As for Szordrin, the drow seemed refreshed from a long night of passionate exuberance. Rain was already looking forward to milking him dry again tonight.

Just as the venison was ready to be served, Namire graced the halls with her morning cheerfulness. The dhampiric Pharine didn’t seem the least bit troubled with her previous masters demise. In fact, Rain got the sense that it lifted a weight off the fox girls shoulders. Rain couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt, that weight would be restored once she told Namire what she wanted her to do.

“I need you to find me a vampire,” Rain did her best to hide the growl in her voice. She was frustrated, and hungry. Truth was, Rain wanted to strangle somebody. She could feel the hairs on the back of her neck stand straight, there was a bitter chill in the air accompanied by a lingering acidic taste.

How dare he lay there and die! Rain wanted to say out loud. Instead, the young succubus clawed into the stonework of the temple pedestal. Her fingernails were sharp, they dug through the marble with ease.

“Another vampire?” Namire held her hands behind her back as she spoke. Her tail fell low to the ground, and her fox-like ears dipped. The dhampiric Pharine’s needle sharp teeth poked through her lips, and reflected the sparkle of moonlight. Her thick arms were bare, showing off a strength that always made Rain jealous. There was a vitality to the fox-like dhampire that drew the eyes to more than just her ample breasts, or wide hips.

Namire always seemed more lively at night, and this morning was no exception. The woman seemed groggy, and there were bags under her eyes. Namire wore a simple wool spun robe, keeping her arms and legs bare to the cool breeze. The cool temperatures seemed to have no affect on her, it was another thing that Rain was jealous of.

“Yes, that’s what I said,” Rain’s fingers dug another inch into the marble as she answered her servant.

Namire took a step back, her legs were practically shaking with fear. “Ok, I just mean…why?”

“Why do you ask?” Rain didn’t want to have to explain herself, or why she needed a healthy vampire’s venomous seed. Flashes of her dream with a god were still swimming through her mind. She had so many things to consider, and so little time.

Namire seemed genuinely afraid of Rains demeanor. “Vampires are super scary, unlike you my queen!”

“Forgive the dog for her cowardice,” Tjere entered the sanctuary. She was the first person Rain had confided with about her dream. The idea of speaking to Roien, and the god taking the form of a young woman, blew the Tjere’s mind.

Tjere was wearing her light armor, which seemed more decorative than practical. Wherever the woman got the armor, it’s design was unlike anything Rain had ever seen. Tjere’s entire midriff was exposed, showing off her chiseled stomach and delicious ab muscles. Her breasts were cradled in a cusp of iron and padded with a thinly laid silk. Rain couldn’t help but want something similar. Although, she would leave out the silk. One day, she would ask the dhampir to craft a similar artifice for herself, but only after they had the time…and acquired the metal.

“Knock it off Tjere,” Rain decided to chide her first servant for the outburst. She motioned for Tjere to back down with the wave of a delicate hand. Rain smiled as she saw how the dhampir’s desire to please her became paramount. Tjere curtseyed before approaching any farther.

Tjere and Namire were almost polar opposites. Where Namire was strong and sensitive, Tjere was light and confident. Tjere’s white hair seemed to glisten in the renewing light, showing off a main of delightful pleasure. Rain enjoyed Tjere’s beauty, and her submissive charm. Where Namire hoped to win her love with devotion, Tjere lived to serve.

“Did you have a good sleep?” Rain asked Tjere fully knowing the dhampire had enjoyed a delightful feast among some of the drow. While the dhampir didn’t require blood to survive, they found the taste a delicacy. Also unlike the typical vampire, dhampire’s didn’t drain their victims entirely. Instead, they only enjoyed a bountiful sample, and left their victims alone to recover afterward. Whoever Tjere had feasted upon the night before, Rain wondered if they got something pleasant in return. Judging by the smirk on Tjere’s face, the odds were likely.

“Yes, my mistress,” Tjere sneered at Namire while planting a hand on her hip.

Rain strode forward to both her servants, “I need to know where the nearest vampire is, and quickly. And bring me the drow’s chieftain, I wish to have a talk.”

“Of course, my queen,” both dhampir spoke in unison.

Rain dug her claws out from the marble. She looked down to find all her fingernails clean and unspoiled. Her new-found strength was surprising her each, and every day. Rain swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and her curse marks tickled her flesh. Already they spread throughout her stomach, and were beginning to decorate he abs and cleavage. They were making her nipples throb!

“Good,” Rain paused a moment to collect herself. “Tjere, why don’t you stay with me for a while.”

Her first servant seemed surprised. “Of course my Queen!” Whatever you desire.”

Rain then looked over to Namire, admiring her curves a moment longer before addressing her. “Namire, my sweet Namire.” Rain reached out to strobe the dhampiric Pharine’s bangs aside. “I need you to go north. Find me a vampire that roams these forests. I know there are plenty nearby, journeying in the lands between civilization and the Demon Lord. Find me one, and bring him too me.”

Namire seemed agitated. Rain let her rest her cheek in the palm of her hand for a moment. “My precious Namire, I know you don’t like vampires. I don’t blame you, in fact…neither do I.”

Namire’s tail twirled from side to side, “Whatever you wish m’lady. I’ll do whatever you ask.”

Rain smiled. The Pharine’s skin was remarkably smooth in the palm of her hand. “What is it you want Namire?” Rain asked.

Namire paused for a moment, thinking before answering. “I…”

There was a long pause in her voice.

Rain rubbed the corner of Namire’s mouth, “Namire, please tell me.”

“My Queen…I’ve always wanted a child.”

That was news to her. Rain was surprised, but not overly shocked. Pharine society valued children, and families heavily. Even though she was half a vampire, Namire was still very much a part of Pharine society, and inherited their love of family more than her love of blood.

“Namire,” Rain smiled. “I value your devotion. Help me with this crucial task, and I’ll endeavor to find a suitable mate for you.”

      “Really?” Namire’s ears perked up.

“I promise,” Rain meant it. Although, she wasn’t sure where she could find another Pharine in these lands.

Namire’s tail was wagging back and forth. “That makes me happier than you can imagine!”

Rain let her servant rest her chin against the base of her neck, “All those who serve me are precious. I will always work to make you happy.” Rain comforted Namire as a tear strolled down the dhampire’s cheek.

Rain whispered into Namire’s ear a heartfelt message, “From now on, you’re a sister of mine.”

      Namire’s hand clung onto Rain’s arm, “I…I’ve never had a sister…”

“You have one now,” Rain looked over to Tjere, giving her the same heartfelt smile. Rain couldn’t help but wonder what Tjere wanted most of all. She would ponder that, while planning her next moves.
