2 months passed in what seemed like the blink of an eye ever since Fang Lin had woken up to his new life along with a brand new name. It had actually taken him about a whole week to assimilate all the necessary memories from his current body's... original. It was a good thing that he had a fever during those times so Fang Lin didn't need to interact with anyone and most likely mess up, socially, due to faulty memories. Or maybe it wasn't actually a good thing? Having a fever for a whole week sucked...

During those stay at home period, Fang Lin did nothing in particular checking one by one the *cheats* he had asked for from the goddess. Well... he couldn't actually check out the promised high spec physical body/Magic Circuits until he started training however, the other two, Twice Critical and Library of Heaven's Path, were there and could actually be called forth with but a thought.

Again, there was nothing he could do with the customized Sacred Gear at the moment either so Fang Lin turned his full attention towards the Library. The first time Fang Lin had *entered* the Library.. to say he was overwhelmed was an understatement. What he saw upon first entry definitely left a great and lasting impressing on Fang Lin. The rows upon endless rows of bookshelves filled with books of all kind definitely didn't help the matter for him.

His second thought at the sheer size of the Library, which seemed endless in all directions made it seemed like it is a miniature world of its own. Upon that thought, Fang Lin then realized that the goddess wasn't kidding when she said that each cheats he had originally asked for would fill up his soul space to the brim. At that, Fang Lin could only sigh in lamentation at how pitifully weak he is at the moment.

Suddenly, something off to the side caught Fang Lin's attention mid thought. Needless to say, he was astonished to find a silver white pedestal, as if afraid to being unnoticed, with a plaque that read "Soul Bound". On said pedestal, there were gloves inlaid with beautiful emerald green jewels just silently resting there. After the minor shock of finding something other than books in the *Library*, the only thought that came to mind was "Huh... so that's where those goes when I put them away..."

After Fang Lin had finished assimilating all of the original's memories along with his fevers cured as well, the novelty of playing with his new "toys" finally wore off. Afterward, Fang Lin pondered a little over the direction of his future growth. After a bit of thinking, he came to the conclusion that it was pointless to start working on the cultivation side of things other than exercising to prepare his body as he doesn't actually have the necessary resources. On the other hand, the Magus side of things already got a head start as thanks to the goddess, Fang Lin already have extremely high grade Magic Circuits pre-activated and ready to go.

The only thing he lacked now was actual knowledge in utilizing them. As such, Fang Lin decided to focus on reading through anything and everything Magecraft related from the Library at every chance he's got. Today as well, Fang Lin was hungrily devouring any knowledge on the current book, which is about the 'Basics of Bounded Field', within the privacy of his mind. Or more specifically, the Library. From the outside though, he would just look like someone that's day dreaming with a vacant look in his eyes.

???: Hey A'Hang, got any plans after class today?

Fang Lin, now known as Song Shuhang just as he wished so from the loli goddess, was suddenly asked a question by someone sitting close to him. Being spoken to so suddenly, brought Fa-- no, Shuhang, back to reality. Focusing his attention towards the voice that called out to him, 3 individuals' names floated to the surface of his thoughts. They were Gao Moumou, Lin Tubou, and Li Yangde. The original Song Shuhang's roommate in his dorm at University. Without much thought, Shuhang replied with a *kind* smile, something he inherited from the original Song Shuhang's memories.

Shuhang: Ah sorry. I'll be going to my part time job as usual.

Hearing his reply, the trio couldn't help but let out a tired sigh as this answer wasn't anything new. They didn't know why, but starting about a month or so ago, their friend Shuhang suddenly started becoming more and more distant towards them. This sudden need to get a part time job, also started from a month or so ago, didn't help either as it decreased their time spent together even more than before.

Lin Tubo: Again...? A'Hang, why do you even need a part job so bad anyway? Are you really that short on money?

With that asked, the other two also nodded their head and looked towards Shuhang with questioning gazes. Although they didn't say anything, Shuhang could tell they were really worried about him. Shuhang of course couldn't actually tell them that it was so he could get money to rent out a place and buy materials so he could practice Magecraft and do various unexplanable experiments. Although he felt bad about it, Shuhang could only give them a weak smile and say that "it's a secret". Also, there was the fact that somewhere deep down, Shuhang hadn't really accept them, kind hearted as they are, that they were *real* people yet. They were, after all, merely *characters* within the fictional world of a novel. This is also the reason why Shuhang and the trio of young adults does not have a relationship as close as it was in the novel.

Hearing the same old reply once again, Gao Moumou, Lin Tubo, and Li Yangde couldn't help but look at each other and heaved another tired sigh. Before anyone could say anything else though, the school bell rang and their professor walked into the classroom. With no other choice, the trio gave up for the time being and started to pay to the professor chanting sleeping spells--cough-- teaching the lessons for the day.

Shuhang on the other hand had a bit of a twinkle in his eyes as he thought to himself.

(With tonight's paycheck, I'll have enough to rent out a studio that I can use for my personal *workshop*. Hehehe... I can't wait to finally be able to use magic, or rather Magecraft, for real...!)

As for the lesson being taught? Shuhang had no absolutely no need to listen at all as he already went through these classes in his past life. Even if he somehow couldn't ace his tests, he could at least pass with a B-, which is plenty good enough. With that final thought, Shuhang once again sank his consciousness inside his Library and picked up where he left off before getting disturbed.
