Korra and Tuck walked across the desert, as hunger gripped them. This was preventing a fast pace in their movement.

Hours of hard walking in the baking sun made them delusional.

Tuck envision himself living in a castle surrounded by gold and beautiful women who address him as Lord Tuck, while Korra envisions her walking into the council hall as Queen Korra of Ora.

Their delusions distracted them from the path they're taking long enough to result in them slamming face-first into a door. snapping them back to reality.

They take some steps back and look up to see the sign, Desert Heaven Resort.

“This is a resort?” asks Korra

“Looks like it princess” Tuck answered

“But it looks so burnt up... is it because of the desert heat?” she asks

“Hmm... I believe it’s because of the…” Tuck started to speak, but Korra entered the resort without hearing the explanation.

She finds the rest of the competition in the resort including Jacob and Helmut sitting at opposite ends of the resort.

They are greeted at the door by the resort owner... a trader by the name of Conrad William

“Welcome one welcome all to the Desert Heaven Resort. We have everything you need, from food, to drinks, to lodging. Everything is under this roof for your convenience at nothing more than ten gold coins per night, per person... children included”

“We don’t have that kind of money,” answers Korra

“No money, no problem... all you have to do is turn around and leave”

“You would let us die in the desert?”

“Umm... yeah!”

“Do you know who I ‘am?” Korra says with an upset face on her

Conrad looks at Korra, before turning to ask the crowd. “Does anyone here know who this lost soul is?”

“She is the princess of Ora, destined to be the nothing of Ora” Helmut answered before everyone laughed

“Princess... in my humble establishment... no coins, no service. Unless… you wish to join my girls in serving my clients I have to ask you to leave…” he said, with a dirty look on his face.

Having the princess of Ora dancing in my establishment... That will definitely boost my business. Perhaps I could get these fools to pay extra, He thought. In his mind he had no doubt that the princess would accept his proposal

Korra looked at the barely dressed girls and decided to leave.

I will not humiliate myself, She thought, however, before she could leave...

“Wait” shouted Jacob, “I will cover her expenses” he uttered before tossing twenty gold coins in a sack to Conrad

“Tch... I mean, where are my manners... come on in, valued customers.” Conrad uttered. He was clearly upset about the turn in the situation.

Korra was however hesitant in accepting Jacobs offer, as it would put her in his debt.

But I cannot allow Tuck and myself to go any further without rest and food. She thought

She takes a step forward before Tuck grabs her hand and pulls her back

“Thanks for the offer but I think we will carry on” Tuck answers

“It will be night soon, child... you should reconsider your decision,” Jiang said

“I think we will have a better chance to survive the night outside than in here”

“What is that supposed to mean,” Francisco asked

“You will see,” Tuck responds as he guides Korra out to the open desert

“Why did you have us leave the resort?” Korra asks Tuck

“You know the old saying? Anything free is not worth having? That girl with Jacob is a Vitra”

“A Vitra? what is that?”

“It originally meant dragon of waters, but now refers to dragon callers and this place is full of them... dragons, not callers”

“Wait... what you are saying is?”

“She is going to burn that resort tonight with the help of dragons that will call.”

“Are you sure?”

“That resort from the inside looks no less than three years old, but look at it. That is not sunburning you’re seeing. The desert is dragon land and I bet that places receives a dragon or two every night, but with that chick there. When the night comes, that place will be home to dragons.”

In the resort, Francisco ponders Tuck's words of warning in his mind and speaks to Helmut on the matter

“I think it wise not to stay here tonight Helmut”

“Why?”

“That child that came with the princess may have been on to something. Look around Helmut, what do you see?”

“Women, lots and lots of beautiful women”

“Besides that”

“Jacob and his guide are doing nothing”

“Nothing? or planning everything”

“I think Francisco... you need a drink, then a woman or better yet, both at the same time,” Helmut with laughter and slip of a drink, disregarding Francisco’s warning
