This end-of-book survey covers all the main (and some minor) characters in Book 3. It's a longer list than the previous one. Feel free to vote for as many as you like.

Characters such as Garrain, Nuille, Baldreg, Freygi, Grindlecraw and Dallim ended up with less to do in this book than I originally expected. I planned more of a frostpunk arc for them, as well as more conflict between New Inglomar and Grindlecraw's colony, but between that and the Earth chapters, the story was losing its focus on troll-Saskia, so I ended up cutting it way back. Other characters such as Zarie and the adorribles/frostlings got more limelight than I expected.

Book 4 will wrap up the story for most of these characters, and mark the end of this phase of the series. Endings are hard to write, and rarely well-received, but I want this series to have a point where people can stop reading and still feel satisfied. That'll also give me a chance to edit the ebook versions of Books 1-4 without everyone breathing down my neck for the next chapter. I do have long-term plans for at least a couple of the characters beyond Book 4, but there'll be a major shift of focus (you can probably guess the nature of the change). So if there's anything you want to see from troll-Saskia and her friends, now is the time to tell me.

Thanks for reading!
