Chapter 54

-------------------------------------------

Adrian looked at Elvisa carefully to make sure that she wasn't injured somehow.

Upon discovering that she was alright, Adrian sighed in relief, before his eyes automatically began to scan and take glances at Elvisa's hot and mature body.

(...hmm~ Definitely! She is definitely my type!...)

Adrian tried to put on a genuine smile on his face, as he tried to hide his erection and approached Elvisa and spoke,

[Doc, you are not in a good condition. I don't think you have slept for days, right?]

[It's not good to neglect your health like this!]

Adrian then turned to observe Luisa's condition, as he spoke,

[You too, Luisa. Both of you are in no shape to do anything but rest.]

Luisa and Elvisa looked at each other, before they laughed heartily.

Adrian became puzzled on why the sisters were behaving like this.

[Umm.. I don't know this place very well, but soon this Camp will see a lot of bloodshed.]

[Before it happens, I want both you and Elvisa to take shelter and hide somewhere safe.]

Elvisa didn't want to hide somewhere without both Luisa and Adrian, but before she could disagree, Adrian spoke up,

[Don't worry. My friend here will protect you, in case someone attacks you.]

Adrian signaled towards the Grimer, as the Grimer nodded towards the sisters.

Just then, Luisa spoke up,

[But... what about you, Mister Adrian? You are injured too.]

Adrian took off his cloak and raised his garments to show both the sisters that his body was fine.

Luisa carefully checked Adrian, before she agreed.

Elvisa, however was blushing heavily, as she couldn't take her eyes off Adrian's body.

Adrian restored his clothing, before he faced the two sisters again,

[We don't have much time. Both of you. Please, go.]

The sisters looked at Adrian emotionally. None of them wanted to leave, but Adrian was adamant on his decision.

[And Doc, it's nice to see you again. Stay safe, Ok?]

Elvisa's face blushed again, as a certain place started to become wet again. She closed her legs together to prevent being shamed in front of the man she liked.

[You too, Luisa. Thank you for saving me. I will always be your ally in the future, no matter what.]

Luisa smiled cheerfully, before she went ahead and hugged Adrian tightly.

[Take care. And come back for us, okay?]

Adrian nodded as he returned the hug.

Elvisa instantly became jealous of her younger sister's forward personality, but she couldn't bring herself to hug Adrian too.

The two girls looked at Adrian one last time, before they turned to leave.

The Grimer followed behind them, as it looked around for any potential attacker.

-------------------------------------

Meanwhile, the team of Clefairy and Adrian were left alone.

The Clefairy approached Adrian and spoke delightfully,

<Clefairy fought like you told Clefairy to, Master! Look! Clefairy is level 6 already!>

<Soon, Clefairy will learn the move SING! Then Clefairy can sweep through everyone!>

Adrian squatted down and caressed Clefairy's head and spoke,

[That's right. You finally overcame your fear. I know that very soon, nobody would be able to stop you, not even legendary creatures.]

The Clefairy nodded joyfully and jumped around in delight.

<Yes! Clefairy will win all the fights! Let's go Master! Clefairy wants to fight more!>

Looking at the Clefairy's fighting spirit, Adrian became very delighted.

Before, the Clefairy was a timid Pokemon. That was a thing of the past though.

As Adrian looked around at the unconscious soldiers, he rejoiced his decision to not give up on training the Clefairy.

(...after all, nobody is useless... everyone has their strong points...one just needs to never give up and keep on training...)

(...what is fate? Hah!...we write our own destiny...)

Adrian came out of his thoughts and spoke,

[Alright, Alright. It's time to find the ring leader now anyways. The Duke, huh? Let's see what he can do against an angry bird.]

Adrian's eyes burned with vigor. His days of being a weak kid was a thing of the past now.

<But... Clefairy is not a bird, Master? Clefairy is a fairy!!>

Adrian giggled at the pouting Clefairy and tried to put the matter aside.

[Yes, Yes. I know. Let's go then. I don't want to waste my time any longer.]

Clefairy jumped up and sat on Adrian's shoulder, as Adrian abandoned the cloak.

<Here we go! Let's FIGHT!!>

He didn't need to hide anymore. He wanted to win.

[Yeah. Let's kick some butt!]

---------------------------------------------

At the outer periphery of the Camp.

The boundaries here were managed by the guards under the Camp Leader.

After the Duke's takeover, some higher ups revolted, while those in the lower rung sat still undecided.

The guards were not on their best behavior, as most of them did their job sluggishly and with neglect.

They didn't notice when, but a figure had instantly zoomed inside the Camp without much interference.

---------------------------------------------

The Arachne felt intense bloodlust, as she stared at the humans around her.

She looked behind her at the little human riding her back.

At some point, a fox like creature had appeared beside the little human. But the Arachne had more important things to care about.

Not to mention that the reason they had reached the Camp so fast was because the little human had made her body pass through many obstructions.

They had little trouble along the way and the Arachne traced the little human's smell all the way to this Camp.

The Arachne looked back at the little human and spoke,

[Humans...kill who?...Save man...]

The little human shook her head in refusal, as she struck the fox like creature behind it's head.

[You stupid monster! Find my brother quickly! Or I will beat you up!]

The fox like creature held his head while tears almost came out of them.

<Relax, Master! Hmm~ I, this great magician Abra can feel him... Hmmm... I think...>

*POOOOOT*

[AHH! You smelly monster!]

*Smack*

<Ahh! Stop, Master!! I-I will quickly find him...>

The Arachne could hardly understand their conversation, as it decided to trust it's instincts and decided to move.

Her chest throbbed in anticipation of meeting the human once again.

It's shadow zoomed past the alleys, as the predator had begun it's hunt.
