Ashley rolled over and let out a long, happy sigh. ‘Thank goodness for the weekend,’ she thought. She slipped out of bed at nine a.m., absently noting the lump on Matt’s side of the bed. ‘Guess he made it out of the chair at some point,’ she thought as she lazily made her way to the bathroom to get cleaned up and ready for the day.

‘Maybe I’ll make Matt cook breakfast today. After yesterday’s fiasco, I could use a break.’ She stripped and climbed into the shower, letting the hot water soothe any lingering stiffness from sleep.

She took a little extra time to enjoy herself, knowing that Matt would sleep until she woke him up anyway. When all her stress from the week had been properly ‘relieved’, she shut off the water and placed the showerhead back on its mount. ‘God bless whoever invented pulsating showerheads,’ she thought as she toweled off.

“Matt,” she called as she entered the bedroom wrapped in her towel. “I was thinking that maybe you could start breakfast this morning, since it’s the weekend.”

A groan came from the bed and the lump under the covers shifted, curling in on itself a bit.

“Come on, Matt, I could really use a break from making breakfast after yesterday’s disaster.”

Another groan, followed by a mumbled “Yeah, yeah…”

‘What the fuck?’ Ashley thought, staring at the bed. That definitely didn’t sound like Matt.

Matt sat up eventually, stretching out his arms and legs. Something felt wrong. Very wrong. He stood bolt upright to figure out what was going on that caused his entire body to feel… off. It didn’t take long to find out. The sudden movement caused various parts of his body to sway in ways he was not accustomed to.

“Wh-who the fuck are you?” Ash demanded as she watched the strange woman climb out of her bed.

“Ash? What’s going on?” Matt asked, his new voice striking him with how feminine it sounded.

Her brain worked overtime putting the pieces together. She was in their bed, she had responded to her calls to Matt to get up, and there was something familiar about her. Everything looked softer, more feminine, but those were definitely Matt’s piercing blue eyes.

“Holy shit, Matt?!”

He nodded frantically, “Ash, I’m freaking out, what’s going on?! Why am I a… a…”

“You’re a fucking girl…” Ash finished, taking a few tentative steps closer. When Matt didn’t pull away, she reached out a hand to touch his face.

“This can’t be happening, people don’t just change sex over night,” Matt protested.

“I don’t know, hon. We’ll figure this out though.” She wrapped her arms around Matt, pulling her-- er, him, into a hug.

Matt froze up slightly, his body sending back all kinds of new feedback he wasn’t used to. His arms hung limply at his sides as his girlfriend hugged him. “A-Ash, what do I do? I’m supposed to meet the guys for lunch today…”

She couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of that being his concern right now. She pushed him away to arms length, holding his shoulders. “I think you have bigger problems than canceling a lunch date, Matt.”

“Shit, you’re right, how the fuck do we fix this? I have a life. I can’t be stuck as a woman!”

“Hey, it’s not like you’re dying or anything. Being a woman isn’t the end of the world,” she frowned, withdrawing her hands from his shoulders.

“It is! I can’t handle going from a man to being some weak wom--”

“Excuse me?” Ash cut him off. “Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean you’re weak. I’ve been a woman my whole life and I think I’m pretty damn strong.”

“I-- you’re right, I mean, you’re very strong, and beautiful, and I love you, but I can’t be a woman. I just… can’t.”

“Why not?” She folded her arms, cocking a hip off to the side as she waited.

“Well, because I… I’m a man! I’ve got to be the protector, the breadwinner, how am I supposed to protect you like this? What would my father say if he knew his son was… like this?”

“First off, sex doesn’t determine any of that. Anyone can be a protector, a breadwinner. Hell, I make way more than you do. You know you don’t even have to work for us to make ends meet.”

“No, Ash! I need to work, I need to provide for you! That’s my job as the man!” Matt protested, stamping his foot.

She couldn’t help but laugh at the decidedly feminine gesture of anger. “Well, ‘Maddie’ you don’t look like the man right now.”

Matt’s face went crimson. “Wh-what?”

“Yeah, in fact... “ Ash smiled, closing the distance again. She realized that she was a few inches taller than Matt, now. “I think you look like a cute girlfriend, more than a boyfriend.”

Matt’s jaw dropped, and it took him a moment to collect himself, looking anywhere but Ash’s face. “N-no, I’m not, I’m your boyfriend. Just because I look this way doesn’t--”

Ash cut him off by taking his chin and tilting his head up to face her. She pressed her lips against his, enjoying the moment of being able to be the physically dominant one for once. “How about you go get washed up while I find you something to wear. Then you can cook us breakfast, babe.”

Matt’s blush intensified, and he found himself shorting out. Coherent thought wouldn’t come. His mind was just cycling over that kiss, and how good it had felt. Sure, he’d enjoyed making out with his girlfriend plenty of times before, but this kiss was like raw electricity surging through his body, igniting even more new sensations.

‘Washed up. Breakfast. Right,’ he thought, nodding.

“Good,” she smiled, giving him a light slap on the backside, eliciting a yelp. “Go on, I’ll leave clothes outside the bathroom for you.” She winked.

==========

Matt stood in the bathroom, staring at his reflection in the mirror. A very pretty strawberry blonde stared back at him, looking like she’d swiped one of her boyfriend’s shirts to sleep in. The way it hung off of her, exposing one slender shoulder, seemed so effortlessly sexy. He blushed when he realized that the girl was him. He was her. ‘Shit,’ he bit his lip, and the girl in the mirror did the same. ‘I’m really pretty, fuck, I think my reflection is turning me on… or maybe…’ his mind flashed back to the kiss from moments before, and he felt a pleasant warmth spread through his core. He instinctively pressed his thighs together, shifting them back and forth slightly.

“Okay,” he reassured himself, sounding a bit breathier than he had intended. “I can do this, I ca-ahhnnn….” He flinched as he pulled his shirt off, dragging the fabric over his apparently sensitive nipples. ‘O-okay, gotta be more careful with that, holy shit,’ he took far more care the next time around, gently removing the shirt. His reflection was so impossibly lewd. A girl standing in his bathroom mirror, face flushed, nipples rock hard, and he could feel a strange sensation of dampness from down below.

‘Shit, I’m definitely turned on, this is so embarrassing!’ He hurried to turn the water on, impatiently tapping his foot while he waited for it to warm up. ‘Just gotta get a shower, then everything will be normal, everything will be fi-- wait, it’s set to pulsate again. Ash must have been…’ He wasn’t stupid. He knew that she used that setting for… relieving… certain tensions. He hadn’t been the most attentive to their sex life recently.

‘Tensions…’ he thought about the sensations ripping through him right now, and eyed the showerhead with more than a little curiosity.

==========

“Haaa---ly FUCK!”

Ash couldn’t help but burst into laughter when she heard the cry from the bathroom. ‘Wow, not even a woman for a day and he’s already playing around like that? Guess I should have figured. Boys.’

When Matt rejoined her in the kitchen, he was wearing one of Ash’s camisoles and a pair of yoga pants over one of her less fancy panties. “This is so embarrassing,” he complained, tugging at the stretchy material.

“Oh, more embarrassing than your little shower session, ‘Maddie’?” she teased, grinning impishly at him.

His face colored bright red again. “Y-you heard tha-- I mean, I wasn’t!”

Ash burst into full fledged giggles. “Oh, honey, I definitely heard you. Maybe you’re not as much of a ‘man’ as you think you are.”

“I am a man!” he protested, “I’m your b-boyfriend… and my name isn’t Maddie!”

“Whatever you say, Maddie,” Ash grinned. “That outfit looks cute on you though. You’re going to need a bra though. I can see the girls are still perked up from your playtime in the shower.”

Matt immediately covered his chest. “No! I’m not wearing… I won’t wear a bra! The underwear is bad enough!”

“Excuse you, those happen to be very comfortable underwear, thank you very much. You should put on the sports bra I put on the pile though, so you don’t chafe and hurt yourself while we’re trying to figure out what happened and how to turn you back into your ‘big strong manly man’ self.”

Matt had just opened his mouth to protest when his stomach rumbled noisily. He folded his arms over his stomach as if that would quiet it.

Ash giggled again, “Well, sounds like you better get started on breakfast, little miss tummy grumblies.”

He averted his gaze and nodded, before shuffling over to get his apron. He let out a soft squeak as Ash came around behind him to help wrap the longer strings, and tie them off behind his back.

“So cute,” she cooed, leaning over his shoulder and wrapping her arms around his waist.

“A-Ash, please, that makes me feel strange…” he mumbled under his breath.

“Good,” Ash taunted, whispering in his ear. “I like teasing my cute little girlfriend. Now how about you get breakfast started like we talked about?”

Matt whimpered and nodded. “Y-yeah, sure babe.” He quickly set to gathering up what he needed for breakfast. Ash was more than content to watch.

‘She is cute,’ she admitted to herself. ‘I wonder if it’s time to revisit my bi-phase from college?’
