Its been a week since they disappeared, soon after, I left the town and travelled alone hoping I could find them

I need to get stronger, I dont have any weapons with me so I have to learn how to use this magic to fight whatever took them, they must be strong to take on three half demons, if they could beat them they would have came back for me so that means their captured

That skill Miyu told me about, Crimson Eyes

I closed my eyes and applied dark energy into them trying to activate it, when I opened it my eyes was crimson red. my eyes started to hurt and my vision started to be unstable, making it hard to see

Argh, So this is what Miyu was talking about, I can't see well, everything I see is doubled, its like Iam drunk. I should go to sleep, maybe it would get better when I wake up

I slept and when I woke up my vision became a little clearer. Days went by with me being unable to see properly, soon my vision was getting more stable and enhanced my eyesight so I tried practicing it

*BANG* I created a pistol out of dark magic and used it with my new skill

Whoa, my eyes can even track the bullets and this gun isn't even like the guns I used before, It fires dark energy that has a higher caliber and bullet speed than most human made guns, but it depends on how much power I put in it

I trained as I travelled and fought some demons along the way, I tried avoiding showing my face to humans so the government don't discover that Iam alive

6 months later...

"Mommy can I go play outside" A young boy  was asking his mother if he can go play around

"Alright alright but don't wander off to far"

"Yay!" The boy ran off to the woods nearby, playing with some sticks using them as swords

*Thump thump* four set of rapid footsteps can be heard from the woods

The boy stared at the woods as he heard the footsteps getting closer, suddenly a four legged demon came out, about as large as a cow with razor sharp teeth

"Gah, mommy help me!" 

*BANG* a hooded figure wearing a black jacket jumped out of the woods and shot one of its legs off

"Are you okay kid? Go home now" I told the kid to go home, he then ran off in fright

*BANG* I finished it off by shooting its head and teleported out of the scene before people noticed me

Teleportation really is useful. Its been 6 months since Miyu disappeared, I've been travelling alone aimlessly ever since, I also heard that town I lost them was attacked by demons just after I left. I trained myself and now I am able to use my magic properly and even made my own skills with it.

I've been killing demons in public, as long as I hide my face and only use guns out of magic, they'll think Iam just a normal human with normal guns who kills demons

"Breaking news, a group of half demons attacked the city, no one knows where they came from but its been rumoured that theres an organisation of half demons that hides in the shadows, the government plans to launch an attack in the abondoned city where they suspect the half demons could be hiding"

While walking down the street, I came across a shop with a group of displayed TVs showing the news

Half demons... Miyu. It a adds up now, that magic light from months ago, those hooded figures... They were half demons. So thats why they took Miyu and the others, they might have needed more power. She never came back even though she knows Iam alive, maybe she abondoned me, but why did she leave me magic. I need answers from her

I travelled to the abondoned city where the news said they were hiding, I took less breaks and more running so I get there faster and finally, I reached the border where the demons nested

Ah theres so many of them, lets test what I learned from all those months.

I created a shot gun and charged at the enemy

*BANG* A demon leaped on me from my right, I teleported above my position where the demon landed and shot it from the air

DEMON SPIKES! Large black spikes emerged from the ground stabbing the demons around me.

I switched to a Shadow Sword from the gun and sliced the demons around me as they got close, teleporting to each of them and killing them one by one, Until there was nothing left.

*Wind blows* I guess thats done. Maybe I should go to her house and see if shes there

Kazuha walked through the ruins calmly.

*BANG* Gun shots and explosions can be heard from a distance

Whats that? Guess I'll check it out

When I reached the place the sounds were coming from, there was soldiers and a tank battling with the hooded figures

FIRE! The tank fired an explosive round blowing off the demons in attacking them, a guy with a flame thrower came out of their formation and scorched the demons

INCOMING! A bunch of icicles launched at the soldiers and giant rocks falling onto the tank. A flash of lighting struck the soldiers, it was the half demons' magic.

Even if the demons had magic, the humans didn't fall back and kept fighting, demons surrounded them and attacked at every angle

Those hooded figures... They must be the ones who took Miyu. But I should interfere, hope they don't mind a third party

I put on my hood and covered my hands with dark energy making sharper claws and harder skin just like a demon's, my eyes glowed crimson red and a dark aura covered my body.

this demon state costs alot of energy but I already practiced how to use it when theres no humans around, so this fight should go smoothly.

While the demons and humans battled, a hooded figure who didn't seem to be from any sides appeared holding a sword in each hand

"Whats this? A lone wolf?" A hooded figure watching from the top of a building said as he looked at Kazuha

*Clung* I blocked the icicles with my swords rapidly and charged at the hooded figures, an enemy charged at me with its rocky hand and tried to punch me but I teleported behind it and stabbed its back

*BANG* I switched to a pistol and shoots the hooded figures at range that refused to attack

FIRE! The humans started to fire shots at everything including me, I raised black spikes from the ground infront of me blocking their shots

"Retreat, that lone wolf will take care of those humans, let him be" The hooded figure at the top said to his assistants and ordered his people to retreat.

Tsk, demons and humans... Really are the same. "Devour"

A large demonic jaw emerged from the ground and swallowed the tank, it sinks back into hell devouring the tank within it.

Kazuha opens a shadow portal and enters it to get out of the scene.

Now... I need to get to Miyu's house hopefully she's there.

I got to her house and walked through the closed door using portals. I got up to her room and... Miyu was there sleeping. I sat on the other side of the bed and waited for her to wake up.

"Who are you? Leave me alone..." Miyu woke up and said in a sad tone of voice

"Its me, Kazuha"

Miyu turned around quickly and looked at me  with teary eyes

"K-Kazuha? I thought you were dead! Where on earth have you been you idiot!" Miyu hugged me tightly and cried

"Why did you think Iam dead, did you forget? Our contract says if one of us dies both of us does, remember?"

"Oh, I forgot about that! But they showed me a severed arm with the same mark on your hand, they told me your dead, Iam glad that wasn't true"

"So thats why you didn't come find me. What happened Miyu, wheres Kyouya and Miku?"

"Six months ago when we were in that town"

*Flashback*

*****

"Who are you, where are you taking us?"

"Knowing my name isn't necessary, we are half demons just like you, we fight humans to take revenge and to do that, we need more power. A shadow demon such as you will be a great help to us"

"Why are you doing this? Where's my friends?"

"Oh they're alright, but that human you guys were with, well his fine for now"

"What do you mean "for now" "

"Well in a week we will attack this town. You see, humans aren't as good as they seem, they made us half demons suffer, they didn't accept us just because we were different, they killed our families and friends, thats why they deserve to die. Even your human friend will stab you from behind someday"

They took me back to their base and locked me up until I decided to help them, then a week passed and they came

"I got you something" The hooded figure gives Miyu a severed arm with her mark on it

"No... It can't be, what did you do to Kazuha, I won't forgive you!"

"Oh, no we didn't kill him, military came and fought us. Your friend who you made a contract with tried to help them with magic, and you know what they did? They killed him, his body got torn apart his arm's all we got"

"Humans... They killed Kazuha...?"

"So you see, humans really are horrible aren't they? You understand me now don't you"

*****

"So thats what happened"

"I got too shocked so I forgot about the contract, Iam sorry, ever since that happened Me, Kyouya and Miku worked with them"

"I see, where are they hiding?"

"All half demons are scattered around here, but our headquarters is an abondoned factory where we make our plans" Miyu explained

"Do you think you could trust them?"

"Well they never harmed us and all of us protect each other in battles"

"I see"

Upon hearing what Miyu said, I got confused on what to do, which side do I go with, the demons who killed my family... Or humans who tried to kill me, that question kept me thinking.
