Looking
As we walk on this ever
Parched world of
War, famine and chaos.
We turn to the West and the East
But never the North,
Nor the South.

What could be the reason 
For this unthinkable thing?
Why do we fight in this world of sin?
I’ve had enough!
They’ve had enough!
We’re all too fatigued to be in 
Conflict.

What was the point in this ambiguous sparring of
Politics, Economy, Law, Language and Religion?
Will this never end? Or
Has it just begun?

“Death to all who sin
And go against our God!” shout
Those who are, or think they’re in the 
Right. But what do you think?

Is the reason why we do this because of 
Our upbringing, or our faith? Or
Is it something else
Entirely?
