I miss your voice, so pleasant to hear,
I miss how, together, we joked,
I miss feeling like you were whispering in my ear,
I miss how the fire in my heart was stoked,
by your words, your actions, your very self.

My emotions for you pile up,
Forming a queue.
I don’t want this to end,
But, it has to.
