I'm not good, I'm bad.
I'm not happy, I'm sad.
I try all the time, but never win.
Is it really so bad to try? Is it a sin?
I try and I try and I try my hardest,
but what does it come to, when expectation is the farthest
from my efforts, my work, my life...?
The world is a cruel place, they say.
Harden your heart, fight every day!
For the life we all live is so difficult, so cruel.
We sometimes wonder: what's the point?
when our fire has no fuel...
So I ask you this, I ask you now:
Why don't you smile? Why do you frown?
Take pride!
Take pride in your work!
Take pride in your life!
Take pride in yourself!
So, please, be more confident in the things you do.
There are people who care, for your life, and for you.

Liking the positivity in this one!
I stopped writing poems in highschool. I don't think I still have it in me to write one

Considering I mostly write in dark tones, reading a positive one is nice change~

Mm, the tone I write my poems in depends on my mood and thoughts at the time.
I think I was trying to motivate both myself and someone I was talking to at the time.

I see. We're kinda same on that front, I guess. I like writing positive poems to cheer others up. Don't why it doesn't work for myself though. Sad.
