Jack clicked the organs box, it enlarged until it took up half the <Status> window, in it was an image a P*c-m*n shaped mouth opening while a beam appeared just in front of it, right next to the image was text reading [Breath Weapon]. Clicking on breath weapon brought up a short description s/ Turn your breath into a deadly weapon with this mutation! Beware of recoil. s/ and two boxes reading ‘Mutate’ ‘Go Back’ J: “Wait, breath weapon? That’s like, a big staple of Kaijus.” “Is, is that what I am? Well, no need to get ahead of myself now… I should just worry about what I should do… which isn’t even a question!” “Of course I’m going to get a breath weapon!” Stabbing his claw into the ‘Mutate’ box with gusto, Jack Mutates.

“AGGHHH! WHY DOES IT HURT SO MUCH!?!” Luckily for Jack, this process only feels like it lasted hours, however in reality, was over in just a few seconds. “It felt like my insides were boiling me alive!” “But.. it was worth it. Right?” looking back at the <Status> window shows a new section in Mutations, labeled ‘Changes’ in the bottom right corner, in it is the [Breath Weapon] He had just mutated. “Well, I guess that’s helpful…”

 “I suppose I should try it out.”
Peeking his head above the water, he slowly rises higher, till a little bit of his arms are exposed. “It’s weird, it almost feels like I could always do this.” Centering himself, Jack uses his [Breath Weapon], exhaling a large cone of super-heated white gas into the water, evaporating any water it touches within milliseconds. While the cone is quite concentrated near its origin in Jack’s throat, it quickly spreads out and dissipates, and after about five meters loses any substantial heat or shape.

“Woah, that felt like a really warm and long yawn.” “Thinking back to it, it reminds me a lot of some of G*dzilla’s first appearances, like the one where he melts an internet towers. Looks about the same strength too, it would probably only give a certain monkey a slight burn.” “Heh.”

“Now to claim that evolution…<Status>” tabbing over to Progress and then Claim Rewards, Jack claims the evolution. Upon claiming it, a new sub-menu opens up that go in front of his <Status> screen, on it is a similar diagram to what is in Mutations, except it isn’t a wireframe, but a texture-less model with different colors on each part, selecting a part on the interior makes the necessary parts invisible so you can see it. There’s another returning thing from the Mutations tab, the ‘Changes’ section. “There’s so many options to choose from…” “I guess I haven’t really had problems with anything yet, so maybe I should use it on [Breath Weapon]?” “Ah! I don’t know! I’m just gonna put it into my armor! It can never hurt to be to durable? Can it?” Not wanting to be stuck in this endless loop of decisions, Jack clicks his armor… and is met with three options

“AGH! WHY!?!!” “It’s fine, It’s fine, just three choices, I’ll just look over them and I’m sure it’ll be an easy choice, no stress.” The three options are; More Coverage, Hardness Improvement, and Density Increase. “Well, those seem self-explanatorily, but what would be the difference between improving hardness or density…” “Maybe density lowers coverage as well?” “Well, no use worrying about it, I think for now it should be best to just have it cover more.” “Doesn’t look like anything here could damage my armor as is so far…” Jack taps More Coverage.

“AAHHH!!!”

Immediately his armor and skin start shifting, his armor’s texture adjusting for the new armor emerging from his skin, which shrivels up and flakes off. Overall coverage has increased by a good five-percent, with each finger and toe mostly only having the bottoms exposed, on other parts it’s not as noticeable, increasing only an inch outward.

“Well that was incredibly itchy, and at the same time, underwhelming.” Jack flexes his clawed hands “I don’t know, I thought it would spread more…”

 As he’s observing himself in Self-View, he notices his size has increased since he last checked.

He has grown to 2.5 meters.
