TFTC. As much as I dislike the little of Boruto that I have seen; I think it would have been better if the mc landed in their time instead. Since his system spreads games the technological advances they have would more fit.

naruto tech was all over the place even in the warring states era
even in narutos time they had radios, TVs and computers
so warring states should be on the level of world war 1 level of tech
there was a village hidden in the sky on a floating island that also attacked uzu afterall
that is a hefty engineering feat right there
so they are at least in the industrial age but nothing spread out
so they should at least have phone lines in their village
baruto advanced further because it was peace time where technology could spread without having ninjas destroying it cuz of war

@Hyperion420 I heavily doubt that technology has advanced to that level in the Warring States era, especially since the Hidden Villages haven't yet been formed back then. I'd be more inclined to believe that tech back then was akin to pre-Industrial Revolution level and only got to WWI level when the village system was established.

so the warring states should have like world war 1 level tech for narutos and borutos generation to have all their advanced sh*t
they cant be all unanimusly be using summoned comminication when ninjas move at the speed of f*ck on their battle field to properly come up with a plan of attack
@Hyperion420 I'm more talking about the tech level of the whole world though, not specific groups. I don't doubt that there's some archeo-tech in Naruto or that some obscure clan has developed advanced tech for their time, it's literally a trope in Chinese novels that there are ancient clans that specialize in engineering, so there are bound to be groups out there that can do some wacky shit, especially since they have ninja magic at their fingertips.
At the same time, the village system was already up for iirc more than half a century when Naruto was born, which is plenty of time for technology to develop, especially since they're forced to do so when they're in a constant state of war.
