“Those words... that voice….why are they so bright…I just want to rest…”

White words appeared around my body, as the voice talked to me, the words appeared in my vision. I found my body unable to move, an invisible pressure bearing down on me forcing me to remain still, unable to look away. After a few moments the words resumed and the voice spoke once more. The voice pressured down on me with every word it spoke causing a jarring jolt to bore into my mind, scything straight into it bringing understanding clearer than any speech.

The voice and words of this space appeared and forced their way into my eyes, clouding my own judgement and thoughts. It felt like days had gone by, at first my mind cleared but while the voice and words around me spoke with that mechanical voice refusing to listen to what I said in response I simply began to give up, feeling tired and allowing it to overtake me. How long has it been? The long list of ‘SOUL HISTORY’ gets longer and longer. Soon enough decades have passed, my mind having gone blank listening and staring at the words around me.

“What god did I piss off to end up here?....”

Once it finally comes to its end displaying ‘Ancient dragon god’. It makes no sense that God is on the list, does it? Can a god die? Why was it red, while every other text has been white?

The words appeared over and over, ERROR, FAILED, RETRYING, for what seems like an infinite number of times. Flashing in rapid succession, before red words flooded around my head, I began to lose focus once more. Before the heavy pressure on my mind and body loosened up.

Explanation of skills:

<The Ancient Archives>: it is a new skill in the world that doesn’t show up on the normal “status display” spell mechanic that the average person in the world uses. It is a skill that pairs with <Playback> and <Archive> It has many secrets that have yet to be unlocked by our protagonist.

<Archive>: A skill that records skills and allows the owner of the skill to be able to learn the skills of others for themself (Barring racial or other restrictions preventing their use normally). The skill in question is then recorded into the <The Ancient Archives> Skill.

For example, if a priest uses <Minor Heal> on the owner of the <Archive> skill. They will be able to learn <Minor Heal> at a fundamental level with some minor work on their end. When paired with <The Ancient Archives> They gain the experiences the original user had to learn the skill. If the person is lucky enough, they might learn it instantly depending on their mental state.

These two skills together are going to be the bulk of our protagonist's power. 

<Playback>: Is a skill that normally allows someone to perfectly re-experience memories they have had before. Paired with <The Ancient Archives> and <Archive>, it has the ability to experience memories of others as if they were the person in question.

Example: A book, if archived, causes playback to kick in and allows the owner of <Playback> to experience how the book was written and the thoughts that went into it.

Attributes in the world are shown normally as: Vitality (Which represents Health of said person), Mana (Which represents the persons limits for skills/magic), Strength (Which obviously represents the upper limits of strength), Agility (Represents ability to move and react), Endurance (Is a representation of durability, think of this like a mix of both mental and physical defense along with mental health), Intelligence (Represents the ability to process information and the speed at which they learn skills/spells).

However there are hidden attributes that “Meta” sets for beings, for our protagonist, charisma (represents the ability to be CLEAR with their intentions), and luck (which represents the chance things will roll a good way) are maxed out. The X$3 skill is a bug, unresolved issues that Meta hasn’t cleared, who knows how this will react in the future.
