It seemed like a moment. It seemed like a year. My eyes were still closed, but I could tell the cab had stopped. I cracked my neck backwards, and the pressure pushing me back into my seat grabbed my attention. Ugh, my bra must be too tight, my boobs fell asleep. I started to raise my arms to adjust them and realized that I was pinned. Opening my eyes, I looked down at a pair of heads, one golden, one brown with golden roots. They were both using my chest as a pillow, their heads inches apart as they both snored gently .

Right, of course. I don’t HAVE boobs .Or wear a bra. That was a weird… dream? I reached back into my mind, trying to capture whatever weird dream I had been having, but nothing.

Giving up, I looked down at snoozing ladies and smiled.

<Random: I could get used to this.>

There was a clunk from up front, the sound of a parking brake being set. I looked and saw the cabbie watching me through the rearview, smiling broadly. I smiled back, then shook my arms and shoulders gently.

They both stirred, and without thinking, I leaned down and kissed both of them on the top of their heads, Claire first and then Sam.

<Random: Game like this, I would have to make a choice right now. But… they aren’t giving me another prompt, so…>

<Random: “Morning sleepyhead. I guess you were more jetlagged than you thought?”>

Sam reached up, yawning, and put a hand on my chest. Claire put her hand on my thigh, taking a deep breath through her nose before propping herself up a bit on me. They both looked up into my eyes, blinking sleepily.

<Random: “There are those pretty eyes! C’mon, we need to get going.”>

They both smiled at me, neither registering the other just yet.

:: Claire Friendship +1 ::

:: Samantha Love +1 ::

<Random: Double dip! Awesome.>

They both started to say something, then turned towards each other, backing off me and away from the middle.

<Samantha: Shit. Was he talking to mom? Of course he was. I’ve never been “pretty” to him. Probably thinks of me like a sister…>

<Claire: Wow he smells nice. Stop, get it together Claire. Wait… was he flirting with Sam? Not sure how I feel about, well, at least it's Sam and not Heather.>

I kept my silence as we piled out. A stack of rolling suitcases were already on the curb waiting for us, the telltale shape of a guitar case leaning against the largest, covered in travel stickers.

The clunk of a door closing behind me grabbed my attention and I turned to the cabbie.

<Random: “Thank you for the smooth trip!  How much do I owe you?”>

The cabbie raised a hand to ward me off.

<Cab Driver: “Naw, naw man. The theater already paid.”>

<Random: Of course they did, unless you found easter eggs like I did, the player shouldn’t actually HAVE any money yet. But I do so…>

<Random: “Oh, good. Well, how much was that, so I know what a good tip is?”>

<Cab Driver: “Tip was covered too, but thank you.”>

<Random: SERIOUSLY!?  Just tell me how much so I can start figuring out what these Gollars are worth!>

I leaned in close, emphasizing my words.

<Random: “Of course they covered the tip as well. The theater troupe are good people and know how to treat people right. But at the same time, moving all that luggage for myself and my two LOVELY FRIENDS”>

I dropped my voice low and hissed

<Random: “...who are watching us right now…”>

<Random: “Was above and beyond the call of duty, and I’d like to show my appreciation!”>

The cabbie brightened, getting it. Honestly, I’m not sure if the AI is just loose enough for that, or if telling him you’re trying to be moneybags is a programmed reaction.

<Cab Driver: “Oh, well, in that case, thank you sir! We actually have a contracted base rate, a pick up and drop off from the hotel across the street from the theater to the airport, or the other way around, is fifty Gollars.”>

<Random: Oh thank the gods. Okay, a bit more expensive than the real world, unless we’re talking peak pricing maybe, but not too bad. I’ll have to see if other things match up. >

I reached into my pocket while focusing on the idea of the G symbol, and the number 15.

<Random: Please work, please work>

I pulled my hand out of my pocket, and there were several pieces of paper in my grip, a single red slip and four green ones. Looking closer, the greens were marked with a stylized numeral 2 and the red one was… a 7? Who makes a bill worth seven?

<Random: “Well, thank you my good man. I appreciate it!”>

The cabbie reached out and took the bills, giving a brief salute to his cap before tucking them into a shirt pocket.

<Cab Driver: “No sir, thank YOU!”>

With that, he slipped into the driver seat, and with a clunk and crank, the cab slowly peeled off.

::Usher Love+1::

What? Why would.. Yeah yeah.

<Random: Why would that give me bonus points with someone who’s not even going to be part of the story? And not with them?>

I turned around to see that Claire had a duffel bag under one arm, and a small rolling suitcase in the other hand. Sam also had a rolling suitcase, and was carefully slinging the guitar case which I KNEW as surely as I had known it was my mom on the bier, was mine. That left a backpack that had the same feel of familiarity, and the largest rolling suitcase.

<Random: “Ladies, you don’t have to”>

Sam cut me off.

<Samantha: “You only have so many hands, we need to get to the gate. Besides,”>

She motioned towards the cab, vanishing into the distance.

<Samantha: “Seeing how generous you are, maybe you can give us a tip later, too.”>

:: Claire Lewd+1 ::

I looked at Claire, puzzled by the message, to see her looking away blushing.

<Random: “Sure, carrying my bags for me, the least I can do is give you the tip, right Jenny Claire?”>

<Claire: “What, no honey, you don’t need to give me money. Happy to help.”>

<Claire: He can give me a lot more than just the tip. CLAIRE!  Don’t think things like that!>

:: Achievement - Blush of Health - Make Claire blush twice before entering the airport :;

:: 15 Diamonds Awarded ::

I grinned to myself as the automatic doors opened in front of us and we walked in.

The world faded out, then back in, and I found myself sitting in an airplane, an overly buxom flight attendant at the front of the cabin, while another who could have given Fabio a run for romance cover novels walked down the aisle holding up a disemchaired safety belt over his head like he’d won a wrestling match. The safety lecture droned on. I looked next to me to see an old man slumped against the window, drooling and snoring. Across the aisle a couple of guys in business suits, ignoring the lecture and tapping away at tablets.

:: 2 Diamonds Added::

<Random: Okay, while I don’t mind a loading scene to get me past the tedium of baggage claim, that's still weird. And added, not awarded? Added how? And where are>

As I thought it, my mind lit up with knowledge again, and I knew that we all had non adjoining seats and that Sam and Claire were further back in the cabin. Twisting around in my seat, I caught Sam’s eye, also looking for me. She waved, and I waved back. Then I spotted Claire, watching the walking meat slab.  He turned around and started back towards the front, and I could see her eyebrows bounce in time to his step, knowing she was watching his ass and enjoying the view.

Moments later, the attendants were sitting down, and I could feel the pressure as the plane began to accelerate, then that sudden SHOVE that meant we were leaving the ground.
