“Listen up, we’ll be grouping up to 6 players, 6 teams whoever wins will have a day off for the entire day from school pick whoever you want in your team,” the teacher says with a serious expression 

The entire class was motivated, some friend groups were separated because of the maximum number of members

The class was about 36 students, 3 teams will remain to fight for who will that free day off

Shiro was with nyxen, Akira, Aiko, Asahi, and an extra named Ayaka the school's ice queen

“Why are we teaming up with her again?” Akira asks while looking at her, it was cold

“I thought you liked her?” Shiro says while casting a Barrier

It’s a free day off, no one would know anyways but he wonders why that was a prize no teacher would give that unless.

“What no why would I like someone like that” the temperature turned colder

“Well weren’t you two close, childhood friends you know”

“We drifted apart”

“Yea doesn’t look like it” Shiro looks at Ayaka, he must be hallucinating but why is everyone covered in snow

“What’s that supposed to mean”

“I know what I know, Xen hold back by the way”  Shiro looked at nyxen stretching 

“Yep, don’t worry shero I’ll just be sending them into the infirmary, I don’t like losing”  she had a grin on her face

“Good enough, Aiko  so which team are we fighting”

“Well it seems like we’ll be against ayakas friend group” he looks at Shiro and nyxen before looking at the group

“Aren’t they kinda fucked? A demon king and a returnee”

“Nah, I didn’t cast anything” finishes casting, he looked at the ongoing match, Team A was getting beat with only 1 member left while the other team had 3 players left

The last person kept trying to catch it but in the end failed getting hit in the head by the ball

“Team B wins,” the teacher says while putting Team B on the next round 

The teacher called out the next match

“Alright team we go in there and we win  also whoever gets out first pays later” 

“Pay for what?”

“Someone’s food” Shiro looked at the red-haired girl, she looked at him those eyes say I don’t eat that much

“I’ll pay” Ayaka volunteers not knowing how much the demon king eats

Shiro gave her a piece of paper “sign this and you’ll be nyxens personal wallet”

Number 2 wallet was written in the paper and some oddly detailed descriptions about what will happen once you sign it, Ayaka is gonna sign this with reasons, 1 she’s rich 2 she needs to get closer to Akira 3 she needs friends, particularly a female one and it’s the transfer student.

Being the ice queen is tiring. Everyone constantly backs away and admires you from far away, it’s such a pain but Akira her childhood friend and his friends occasionally talk to her.

“No, take backs,” Shiro says going back into his position

The teams take positions waiting for the whistle to start 6 balls we’re in the middle 

3,2,1 a blow of a whistle was heard Starting the round

Going for the middle, nyxen was the first to get a shot throwing it and hitting one of them out into a wall

The class was in shock 

“Damn” Shiro looked at his completely unconscious classmate, good thing he cast a barrier if not maybe he would have been dead

He was carried to the school infirmary 

After a brief stop the match continued, with balls we’re thrown trying to hit the other team. whenever nyxen had a ball the other side refused to catch it only dodging it praying for it to not hit them

Shirou was not a good thrower he missed every shot, every-time he had one it went out even magic didn’t have a solution for his aim.

He tried auto-aim magic once, but it went back to him instead of the target 

“Oi shero try harder!” Nyxen Knocking another one

“I’m trying!” Shiro throws missing the target again

“Are we just here for support?” Ayaka looks at the 3 Akira, Asahi, and Aiko 

“No, but yes keep throwing we’ll eventually hit something compared to Shiro look at him” Akira looks at his friend he was getting lectured by the teacher while the match was ongoing 

“You have a point” 

 it was a flawless victory, in the end, nyxen took out the rest with ease When the other team started to get tired of dodging

“We did it team let’s keep this up, also shero you shouldn’t cast a barrier around us we already won” Nyxen the one that carried the team sat back to watch the next round

Shiro sat down beside her seeing the barrier he cast gone since the start of the match, it seems like she got a buff

“Huh..how did I win against you again?” 

“I will only lose once and that is against you, in this life I will never lose”
