• Kaoru pov

                                                                                           *It was the end of the school day

 

Yuki had texted Kaoru to let her know he had got out of school already

 

“Hey I just finished class right now”

 

“Okay same, where do you wanna meet?”

 

“Hmm, is a park near your school fine?”

 

“Yeah I don’t mind”

 

They both left their classes and started heading towards the park where they were gonna meet up at

 

Kaoru was the first one to get there since the park is closer to her school

 

She was thinking to herself and was debating if she should tell Yuki what she thinks happened 

 

“I don’t know if I should tell him about my new theory but we said we’re doing this together, so I think I should” mumbled Kaoru to herself

 

“Hey Kaoru”

 

As Yuki spoke to Koaru she flinched which made her get off the bench where she was sitting at

 

“Oh hey Yuki, you surprised me there”

 

“Sorry I didn’t know what to do since it looked like you were spacing out while thinking about something”

 

“Let me guess is it about time unfreezing?”

 

“Yes …”

 

“What did you discover?”

 

“I think me getting hurt made time unfreeze”

 

“What do you mean by that?”

 

“Remember this”

 

Kaoru showed Yuki her bandage which was covering up her cuts and scrapes

 

“Right after I fell time unfroze”

 

“So you’re saying u getting hurt unfroze time?”

 

“Yes”

 

“You think the same would also happen if I got hurt?”

 

“Most likely since we both get stomach pain too”

 

“Well that would explain what happened this morning”

 

“Now we know how we could unfreeze time but we still don’t know what causes it to freeze in the first place”

 

“You’re right,” said Kaoru as she looked a bit bummed out

 

“I mean at least we’re a step closer to solving this so don’t look bummed out Kaoru”

 

“Thank you, Yuki,” said Kaoru with a fake smile

 

Kaoru was thankful for Yuki trying to cheer her up but she was not sad about not being able to solve the mystery of time freezing but was thinking about if her time with Yuki would end when they solved the cause of time freezing

 

“Will our time together come to an end?” was a question stuck in Kaoru’s head

 

“Want to get some ice cream on our way back home?”

 

“Yeah I’m okay with that”

 

                                                                  *They both started walking towards an ice cream shop nearby

Author’s words: 

 

Well I apologize for the big delay for this chapter, this short chapter talks about how they can now unfreeze time but it has to have one of them get hurt, I wonder how they’ll deal with it. The next chapter will be mostly of Kaoru pov but will feature two other characters.
