The next day, I went to my home gym, which I have never used. I started using the treadmill.
Why, you ask? Because the next time I fight someone I wanna be the one who does the beating, that’s why!
I’m somewhat fat, so I believe losing weight should be my priority, therefore I will start counting my calory intake and start doing some cardio. I will start weight training once I’m satisfied with my weight loss. Until then it’s calisthenics, diet, and cardio.
I’m not particularly fat so to be back to peak condition, I estimate about a month (slightly less if I do some fasting).
I am 5’8”, 175 pounds, 16% body fat, my goal, for now, is to reach 160 pounds with a 13% body fat percentage by mid-march, which gives me about 30 days. My long-term goal is a 6% body fat percentage. Afterward, I have about 15 days before school starts, I think I’ll start weightlifting by then.
I started using the cardio machine, like crazy...It lasted 1 minute. Next, I did some pushups, however, I reached my limit at 10. Some pullups...none. Then I went back to the cardio machine and did another minute.
I made myself grilled chicken breasts and ate it. Nothing more, nothing less.
A week had passed, and I had gradually improved. I can now last 2 minutes on the cardio machine, do 15 pushups in a row, and I can finally do 1 pullup. I dropped about 5 pounds, which is a lot faster than I expected. I also started taking more naps, which might mean I am hitting some sort of growth spurt.
I started fasting, and at the beginning, I legitimately felt like dying, but after the 3rd day, I felt better. Considering I am still growing, I supplemented myself with pills and vitamins. My exercises worsened a bit, but by the end of the 10-day fasting, I lost about 6 pounds of weight. However, afterward, I couldn’t lose weight easily, so I went back to exercising.
1 week afterward, I could now last about 5 minutes on the cardio machine, do 20 pushups in a row and now I could do 5 pull-ups. I lost about 2 more pounds. I smiled… I was close to my desired weight.
6 days afterward, I could now do 7 minutes of cardio, 25 push-ups, and 7 pull-ups. My body fat percentage was 13%. I reached my goal...now it’s time to start weightlifting.
I wish my weightloss journey was that easy!
