"Ugh... where am I..." I said covering the sun's glare with my hand.

I grunted while trying to sit down.

I then glanced around but found nothing except trees and grass.

It took me a few minutes to remember the scenes after I died.

"So I got reincarnated..." I said looking at my hand. Then continue,

"Kill the Demon Lord and save the world... huh," I clenched my hand.

"As if, I was a protagonist in some kind of mangas..." I said with a little giggle.

I sighed and immediately stood up.

"Well, since I got reincarnated, let's enjoy my second life shall we?" I said smiling.

If I wasn't wrong, almost every isekai'd mc can check their own status after they shout out "status". Should I try it?

"S-status,"

Suddenly, a square-like screen filled with text appeared in front of my face.

"Woah," I was surprised by the sudden event.

I immediately managed to calm down.

"So this is my status..."

"Is this... consider good?" I asked. Tilting my head.

I scratched my head and pondered,

I then start my walk to check my surrounding.

I waste no time and immediately drink it.

And immediately open all my clothes then jumped into the river.

After taking bath on the river I immediately went to the open area to test if magic was really possible to use.

A few moments later, I can hear a girl screaming from far away.

I looked in the scream direction while sharping my brows.

"Someone's in danger," I said and immediately dashed to that spot.

While running, I realize that my speed is not the same as when I'm still on earth.

"So this what they called, superpower..." I said myself, then dashed more faster.

A moment after, I've arrived at the source of the scream but... I found nothing but a blood trail.

My expression turns ugly.

"What in the world was going on here..." I said looking at the scattered blood.

I then looked at where the trail goes and found, it was heading to the cabin.

I immediately dashed to that cabin. 

 

After I arrived near the cabin, I can immediately smell blood and rotten flesh inside the cabin.

I immediately pinched my nose.

"I don't like this smell..." I said slowly walking to the window to see what's inside the cabin.

 

After seeing the things inside the cabin, my eyes widened.

I immediately fall to my but and the feel of vomiting suddenly appears.

I closed my mouth with my hand and immediately went to the grass to throw out the vomit.

 

"Blergh..."

After I was done vomiting, I immediately wiped my mouth with my sleeve.

With trembling eyes, I said,

 

"That's definitely, a human's flesh... I'm pretty sure that rotten flesh and that skin... definitely a human's,"

Suddenly, a pig-like voice can be heard behind me.

 

"What do we have here... *oink* a lump of fresh meat!" A mysterious figure said from my behind.

I turned my head back slowly and saw...

"A fresh... human flesh... *oink*," It said while raising its butcher knife. Then swing it while aiming for my head.

I immediately dodge the slash and take my distance from the monster.

 

That was... close... if I was a second late, my head would be rolling instead...

 

"*oink* Pretty good move for a soon-dead human..." It said while starting to walk.

 

There's no way I can beat this monster, there's no way... I pondered while looking at the monster.

While looking at the monster, I can feel my feet trembling like crazy. Sweat starting to fall from my face. And the only thing I can think of is [DEATH].

 

I need to run...

 

"aaaaaAAAAAAA!!!!" I screamed while start running away in fear.

*whoosh*

After I thought it was far enough, I immediately hide behind the tree and lean to it.

 

"*huff* *huff* I think I'm saved now..." I said panting.

 

"Found you, *oink*" 

 

I immediately looked behind and saw the monster earlier ready to swing its butcher knife.

My eyes widen.

 

*slash*

 

I managed to avoid its slash by doing a roll and gaining the distance. But the tree where I was leaning before was no longer there.

 

S-strong...

 

The monster immediately runs to me. Swinging its butcher knife randomly while letting out humanoid pig noises.

I immediately dashed away from there.

 

How can the Heroes I read in manga can beat the monster like this on their first try! This is just impossible!

 

A moment after, I looked behind while dashing but saw no one.

 

Did that monster give up on chasing me?

 

After that, I can suddenly feel something hard punch my stomach.

"ARGH!" I immediately vomited blood then thrown away by the impact and hit the tree.

"*cough* *cough* it's hurt, someone..." I said in pain while holding my stomach with both hands.

 

"Oo? *oink* I was surprised that didn't kill you," The monster said.

 

"S-status..." I said while grunting in pain.

My eyes widen.

"Not many humans, *oink* managed to survive my punch before," The monster said while starting its walk.

"And you're one of them... *oink*" The monster stopped its walk and raised its butcher knife.

"But worry not, you can die now,"

Just like that... I died for the second time.

"Ee? ee? EEEEE?!!! H-HOW?!, BUT HOW?!" I screamed.

"Did I make a mistake somewhere?" I said while biting my fingernail.

 

After a few seconds of thinking, I decided that manga is different from real life. And I made a mistake for thinking that a normal human can suddenly face a mid-ranking monster with no problem.

 

"Can't believe I was this stupid..." I said sighing.

Welp, it's my fault afterall. Let's give him a second chance while also giving him something in return.

 

After that, I snapped my finger and suddenly, a light appears in front of me and immediately disappeared.

I can't see anything in this darkness.
