Before she got into the carriage, Jung Hwan came along riding a horse while yelling, “CONSORT WANG, PLEASE WAIT!!”

Stepping down from the step she turned to face him waiting. He soon arrived before her and got off his horse. Panting as though he was the one running he leaned forward supporting his body with his arms on his waist.

Ji Min shook her head while Hye Jeong and Yu Na giggled. Jae Hyun turned his head unbothered. “Jung Hwan, I am no longer married to the Crown Prince so it’s just Chushan from now onwards.”

Standing upright he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Looking into her eyes it seemed as though she wasn’t sad. “Consort Wang, please don’t leave so soon, at least pay everyone a visit before you depart,” he pleaded.

“If this is why you called for my departure to halt, then I am sorry to inform the Crown Prince's Royal Advisor but you are wasting my time, you know as well as me that everyone in the palace can’t wait to get rid of me and are most probably celebrating my leave, so why should I pay them a visit hmn… just to be laughed at and mocked once my back is turned?” She said with a cocked brow.

About to open his mouth and retort he was cut off, “The Crown Prince never listened to me when I protested against the other consorts and I always ended up in shit for things I didn’t do, why must I go to him and say goodbye, he doesn’t like me so to show my face in front of him now and be ignored… do I really seem so ignorant to the ways of his highness that doesn’t love me, never will and not even in the next life… please, just return to whatever you usually do and bid farewell in my steed if you want, tell that ex-husband of mine that he opened my eyes to reality and that I congratulate him on his divorce, a man that couldn’t show an ounce of love or respect to the one who loved him the most – really deserves to be this kingdoms future emperor,” she says, suddenly speaking informally to him.

Turning to leave and climb into the carriage she stopped, turning to him she said with a smile on her face, “Ask him what colour my eyes are, if he answers it correct then maybe he has feelings for me but wish his highness well for me and tell him his wish has been granted, I will no longer show my ugly face in front of him again.”

“HEEYA!” Yelled Jae Hyun urging the horses to leave.

Jung Hwan looked at the departing carriage with a dark expression and clouds hanging over his head. He only left once the carriage went through the gates of the Imperial Palace and the guards closed the gates behind it.

Turning around he was too stunned to get back onto his horse. Walking back to Wu Yong’s palace where they all were gathered back in the garden. Wu Yong saw Jung Hwan’s grave expression and questioned, “What is it, what has you looking like that?”

Pulled out from his conflicting thoughts he looked at Wu Yong who had his arms around Consort Kim and Consort Han. He could see that they were having a good time than thinking of what Consort Wang said. Coming to his senses he looked profoundly at his best friend and asked, “Wu Yong, how well do you know Consort Wang?”

Wu Yong, “Why?”

Jung Hwan, “I’m curious.”

Thinking for a moment he answered, “I don’t know her well, I never cared to know her, why?”

Nodding his head seeming to think he turned to look at the other consorts and looked at each of their eyes. Seconds later he asked, “Wu Yong, what colour is Consort Wang’s eyes?”

Cocking his eyebrow he was about to say something but paused, looking at his consorts he asked, “Why are you asking?”

Jung Hwan, “Curiosity.”

Wu Yong, “B-brown?”

Nodding his head with understanding he looked at Dong Woo grinning, “It’s your duty to observe the surroundings and protect Wu Yong, so Dong Woo-ah~ what colour is Consort Wang’s eyes?”

Turning his head to look into the distance he answered, “Consort Wang’s eyes are hazel but when she looks into the sun, her eyes turn yellow.”

Clapping his hands, Jung Hwan said sarcastically, “No wonder she said so.”

Wu Yong asked curiously, “What did she say?”

Jung Hwan, “She wishes you well and says congratulations on your divorce, you won’t ever have to see her face again.”

Wu Yong stared at Jung Hwan for a few seconds. Pretending or not, he really didn’t know what the colour of her eyes was – he didn’t know what the colour of the eyes of his child’s mother is.

It didn’t take them long to arrive at her courthouse. Sitting on the bed while pulling all the accessories off her head she said to Jae Hyun, “Get rid of the carriage and find someone to replace me. We are supposed to be on our way to my father and I don’t have the face to see him, I don’t care what you do, just get rid of Wang Chushan.”

Jae Hyun, “Will my lady live as Jiang Chushan or Jiang Yueguang?”

Chushan, “Which do you prefer?”

Jae Hyun, “My lady if you will?”

Chushan, “Yes, speak your mind?”

Jae Hyun, “If we use your name Chushan then won’t it be suspicious?

Chushan, “Not really since no one cares or knows who Wang Chushan is.”

Jae Hyun, “Then my lady, will you be okay once I leave?”

“Jae Hyun, although you are the strongest, my father is a general and I trained under him for most of my life so I can protect myself, did you pack my sword?”

Jae Hyun, “Yes I did.”

Chushan, “Bring it then you leave.”

Doing as his lady said, he returned with her sword handing it to her then left with the carriage and his lady’s belongings. Along the road, he stopped at a graveyard in the middle of the night. Searching through the graves he found a newly buried grave… digging up the body it was a male.

“…”

Digging the next grave he found after burying the body back underground… the next body was male too… the next two and the forth finally he found a females body but it was one of an old woman… searching the whole night until morning while panicking he finally found a body of a young lady who was buried recently and her body hadn’t decay yet.

Quickly dragging her out of the grave and closing it he rushed to the carriage like a madman and drove off after wiping away the dirt on his face. On his way to the general's household was a cliff with a river at the bottom.

Stopping and dressing the woman’s person he bowed to her a few times praying to the heavens that he doesn’t get condemned for all of this. She was dead anyway so who really cared.

Stabbing at her face, he lifts her skirt up and slashed at her legs. Closing his eyes with a blindfold he raised the knife and stabbed at the lady’s private part randomly. Feeling that the stabs were enough he closed the skirt covering her and took off the blindfold.

Sighing he dug out her eyes just in case. As he was about to slap the horses on their asses to fuck off he paused… “Fuck!” he cursed realizing something…

He looked at the body inside the carriage and sighed. Kicking the sand he climbed on and headed for a cave to hide the carriage, waiting for the night to arrive – falling asleep.

~

He woke up before the sunset yawning and sighing at the same time “…”

Around ten he came out of the cave and started dinging graves again for four more bodies, one male and three females… Finally finishing his masterpiece he slapped the horses and watched them runoff. Pushing the carriage off the cliff he brushed his hands against his clothes and strolled back to the courthouse – Hye Jeong opened the door. Looking at him dumbfounded she asked, “What in the hell happened to you?”

Shrugging he said, “I killed us and now I’m dirty, how is our lady doing?”

Hye Jeong, “Fine, she’s been looking for you.”
