[Basic herb manipulation: able to combine and grow herbs with greater effect than normal.]

he wanted this to stop any infection he would get afflicted by in the wild. It would be useful for more things than that, but he needed to take certain risks to make sure he survives.

This was a gamble, as he didn't know the skill effect and the potency of it, but he quickly brought it.

Nothing happened. No shine, no sparkle, just a feeling to say.

Slowly grabbing 2 different herbs that he found on his way to find a river, he slowly said

"[Basic herb manipulation]"

the two herbs combined into one, of which Aryan quickly inspected

[Combesh plant - Child of Comianian plant and Beshian plant, it attains the properties of both with weaker effects. Good when pressed against light wounds and infections - non-ediable]

it seemed like plants were more descriptive with [Appraisel] than normal things, was it because of the influence of the skill.

The plant was a lovely golden colour with purple outlines, which Aryan stored alongside his spoils of war from the rabbit that he just killed.

[Basic herb manipulation cooldown - 3 hours.]

[#### laughs at your wareness]

after finding a small stream at a side of a forest, Aryan took a big gulp of water before washing his face. It was a shame he didn't have a canteen to put the water in, but since it wasn't as warm as-

a faint stinging came from his head while he thinking about it, but he quickly shook it off and returned to his residence, a cave.

He quickly started a fire, before roasting the meat of the rabbit with some fruit on the side.

It wasn't bad, but because of the lack of spices, it wasn't the best.

He slept with the spear at his side, as he closed his eyes and rested. The outside was now pitch black since he came here quite a while ago and took time dawdling around for a water source. It seemed like his first day here was coming to a close.

---------

"H-h-h-help me... " A woman's voice filled Aryan's head as he slept, causing him to jolt up from his sleep.

--------------

Nobody was there. It was just his imagination.

Screeching came from behind him, as Aryan turned around into the darkness of the cave

a couple of unusually large bats came out of the cave, each with longer claws and fangs that stayed out of their mouths

[Talisk Bats - level 4 - Poisonous]

Aryan grabbed the spear beside him and poked at one of them, who dodged it easily.

They were nimble, they were fast.

[A Sponsor has died! 149 remaining!]

a blue screen appeared in front of his eyes, which disorientated him enough for one of the bat's to suddenly jump out at him, its claws going for his throat.

Aryan suddenly used his left hand and punched the bat away, watching as it was sent back before stabbing the spear into it.

It squealed in pain, beckoning its comrades to come and help it, of which they did.

Sharp claws lacerated against Aryan's back and he felt blood slowly dripping out

[Inflicted with poison]

his health dwindled down and down coming towards an 8/10 before he slowly crawled himself back up.

-------------

[Talisk Bat Has Died - Level up! gained 5 SP and 5 Stat Points!]

-----------

His stat points! how did he forget about something so crucial?

his slender fingers tapped open his status page before he added 5 of them to speed and dexterity.

He felt stronger and quicker before he used his spear and slammed it against another bat.

It was a blunt blow, not enough to kill it, but he slowly started to ram his spear tip against its small fragile body.

[Talisk Bat Has Died]

No level up , no expeirence. What a shame.

The second two bats were discouraged, but Aryan felt the poison seep through his body

6/10 health.

He charged at the third one, his eyes shining with a light as he drove the spear tip into the bat's body.

[Killed Talisk Bat - Level up! gained 5 SP and 5 Stat Points!]

4/10 hp

Seeing the last bat charge towards him, Aryan readied his spear to only see it run away and go past him, fluttering into the night's sky.

slowly getting the Combesh Herb out of his pocket, he slowly pressed it against his back, hissing from the pain of it getting pressed against an open wound.

[Loot bat's x3?] a prompt came before Aryan, who clicked "Yes"

---------

Talisk Bat Venom

Talisk Bat Claws

Talisk Bat Meat

---------

the poison came in the form of a small glass bottle, of which black inky substance lied within.

[Talisk Bat Venom - Highly venomous, slow working]

"Slow working?" Arayan scoffed "You call that slow working?"

it was probably a fact that the poison would become more and more powerful the more time passed.

The Spear that he had used before had slowly crumbled, leaving a powerful vine and a blunt rock.

Looking at his prompt's from before, he sighed before thinking of where to put his stat points.

It seems like his best stats were Dexterity and Strength, and he didn't know if it was a coincidence or not, but his starting mana stat was lower than his physical stats. So once more, he decided to put it in dexterity and strength

Seeing the 10 Skill Points he had gained from killing those three bats, Aryan quickly scrolled through the Skill Shop to see what skills piqued his taste.

"Are you kidding me?" Aryan, out of interest, scrolled to the top of the Skill Shop to see skills he saw in his past life in certain games.

"Seriously?" Aryan thought "Is this real?"

Unfortunately, his knowledge of games wasn't as big due to the fact he was in the arm-

another round of stinging pain enveloped his mind but to a lesser extent this time

his eyes drifted to a prompt that he skimmed over last time

"[A Sponsor Has Died - 149 Remaning]"

Something didn't feel right. It felt like they were all suddenly chucked into a fighting ring, with spectators being these "Gods".
What purpose do they hold with sponsors?

Looking towards the Skill Shop once more, his eyes fell upon the skill

"[Refining - Basic - 10 SP - Instantly turn a material into a sharper form of itself - does not work with metals (basic)]"
