Stephan charged at the grizzly, confident his charge, with all the power of a 300 pound buffalo was enough to defeat the bear. 

Suddenly, the bear swiped it's paw and Stephan was shocked at it's speed and barely managed to jump out of it's way

The bear's paw hit his left arm that he barely raised in time to cover his head as he jumped to the side, but to his shock, his whole body was propelled several meters away, crashing to the ground. 

Stephan immediately got up and shook his head, shocked that his left arm hung limply by his side, broken at the elbow. 

The bear charged and Stephan ran

He remember seeing old pictures and videos of old wrestlers wrestling bears.

Although their claws were blunted, he wondered how could those men even challenge the strength of a bear?

Perhaps those were baby bears, or a lesser type of bear?

Right now, he was much stronger and faster than a normal man. No way those old wrestlers could fight a real grizzly like this one

He ran in a full sprint, far faster than a human can run. 

But he was surprised that the bear was falling behind, but not by very much

It was much faster than a normal human, possibly as fast or faster than a person on a bicycle at full speed. 

He suddenly changed direction and charged at the bear, using his nails to attack with his other hand

The bear was surprised as Stephan struck it's neck, but all it did was barely cause scratches on the bear's tough hide. 

The grizzly retaliated and smashed Stephan's body, who desperately blocked with his only working hand

He landed on the ground and tumbled a few meters, looking like a doll whose strings had been cut. 

He groaned as he looked up at the approaching bear, both his arms broken. 

The bear got up on it's hind legs and roared with it's paws prepared to deliver the final blow. 

Suddenly, an arrow flew through the air, hitting the bear right in it's throat

The bear looked stunned as another arrow lodged in it's heart. 

It stumbled backwards and collapsed

It was then that several figures rapidly approached and appeared out of nowhere.

"He's still alive" a female voice said

"He's badly wounded though" another replied

"How foolish, fighting a bear" a male voice said

"What's that? It's so thick!" another female gasped

"Don't look. It's a... pee pee thing" the male replied again

Stephan looked up at the voices. Were they... Elves?

"Please... I need it's heart" Stephan said before passing out

Stephan opened his eyes and found himself in a wooden building, intricately carved into a large tree

He was still wounded, and his arms were still broken. But it looked like they were wrapped in large leaves which emanated a medicinal smell

"Oh you're awake. Let me call the leaders" a beautiful elf said, running out of the room

Moments later, several elves walked in, two males and a female

"My name is Clarissa, leader of this tribe" the male in the center said

"This is Venessa, our Mage" he continued pointing to the other male

"And this is Dan, my consort" he said, introducing the beautiful woman

Stephan looked confused. All the males had female names, and the females had males

They looked at him as an awkward silence stood in the air

"Do you... understand what I am saying?" the leader asked

"Sorry. I am Stephan" he finally replied

"Stephan... strange. Are you sure it's not Stephanie?" the female elf Dan asked

"I am sure" Stephan said

"Strange, even when he has such a thick.." Dan muttered

"Ahem. Are you a hymen?" the leader asked

"What?" Steven asked

"Human" the Mage Venessa corrected him

"Oh! Yes.... from Earth.. you know, third planet from the sun" Stephan said

"Planet... sun...what interesting words" the Mage said

"Earth..that is perhaps the realm where the different realms are fighting over" Clarissa said

"What... what do you mean?" Stephan asked

"If that indeed is where you are from, your realm will be, or probably already has been invaded by the many realms" Clarissa said

"How do you know this?" Stephan asked in shock

"Because our realm... has already been conquered. We fled to this realm, which is a staging ground to prepare for the invasion of Earth" he said

"Staging ground? What do you mean?" Stephan asked

"Haven't you found it strange that this realm has pretty much the same creatures as your planet? This is because this realm was set up many eons ago as a preparation for training warriors to invade your realm. The atmosphere and climate should be similar to your realm." Clarissa said

Stephan nodded before asking "What do you mean you were conquered?" 

"The conquerors are creatures from many different realms fighting for supremacy. They conquer entire realms, and all other realms like ours are merely prizes to them. 

Our realm was conquered by the vampyres" Clarissa said

"Vampires" Venessa interrupted him

"Yes... vampires" Clarissa corrected himself

"Vampires can even conquer elves?" Stephan asked

"Yes. We are nearly evenly matched in speed and strength, and we elves are better with the bow and nature magics. But these... vampires can turn to bats and demon dogs, and if they bite us... they will produce hybrids, who have the powers of both the elves and vampires. 

The current leader of those hunting us is such a... vampire" Clarissa said

"You said before you passed out that you wanted the Big Furry's heart" Venessa said, bringing out the bear's heart on a wooden bowl

"Yes..um... if you don't mind, can I eat it?" Stephan asked

"Yes. We might only eat vegetables, but he have met other barbarians who eat meat like you do" Dan said

"Er.." Stephan looked at them. Both his hands were broken, but nobody seemed to be helping him eat. And perhaps it was too much to ask these beautiful looking elves to dirty their hands touching this bloody heart

He bent over and ate it like an animal, gobbling it up sloppily with blood shooting everywhere

"Barbaric indeed" Dan said, turning her nose up at him

But both Clarissa and Venessa watched him eat with great curiosity. 

Stephan's arms started healing slowly but visibly and he felt stronger and stronger, absorbing the grizzly's strength and vitality. 

"I knew it. I told you so!" Venessa said, seeing his arms heal and his other wounds close up before their eyes

Stephan looked up curiously at Venessa

"You... you found the Orb of Gluttany didn't you?" Venessa asked

"What of what now?" Stephan asked

"Orb of Gluttany. It's a purple glowing... well, orb. It was last heard to be stolen by the Dragonkin Mage Agnoramus. We fled here to this realm to look for it!" Venessa said

"Uh.. I guess so. The thing flew into my body and helped me recover from the crash" Stephan said

"I knew it! I knew it! Er.. what is a plane?" Venessa asked

"Big... flying metal bird with people... humans inside. We crashed into the forest a month ago" Stephan said

"Plane... month...wonderful words" Venessa said

"But what would you be looking to do with it anyway? You guys don't eat meat" Stephan asked

"Yes. But we had an allies that are shapeshifters. They would be the most ideal user of the orb" Venessa said

"We HAD allies like that. They were wiped out by the Vampires" Clarissa said

"Oh! Yeah" Venessa sighed, forgetting their ally had died. 

Stephan sat up, having fully recovered. But he found that under the leaf blanked he was under, he was completely naked!

He was naked when he fought the bear, having gone for a swim, and the Elves didn't dress him at all

"Let's bring you around the village. At the very least, lets ally ourselves in case of an emergency" Clarissa said as Dan held his hand 

He stood up, uncomfortable because he was completely nude and was brought around the small village that had been carved into the large trees. 

Stephan walking around brought the attention of the whole village, with many girls pointing at the thing dangling between his legs.
