The camera opens up to Sir Nighteye glaring at Izuku, who is mimicking All Might's face.

Nighteye:"You little..." *Nighteye turns to Izuku.* "What's with that face?"

Izuku gasps.

Nighteye:"What are you trying to do?"

Izuku:*Mimicking All MIght.* "Oh, well, um...!"

Nighteye starts to walk to Izuku.

Nighteye:"You committed this outrage knowing that I was All Might's former sidekick?"

Nighteye:"All Might's wrinkles are not like that. In his normal face, the wrinkles around his eyes are 0.6 cm long. From Silver Age on, they were about 0.8 cm long. These days, even unlicensed merchandise specifies what 'age' it's from. Do you not even know that?"

Izuku looks around the office and sees all the All Might merchandise.

Izuku:'Every corner of the offices is filled with All Might merchandise...!'

Izuku sees a 10th anniversary poster of All Might.

Izuku:'That's the 10-th anniversary tapestry that wasn't for sale! I want it!'

Izuku then sees a small action figure of a Female Io.

Izuku:'He even has the female Io action figure, from when a villian changed his gender and it lasted a couple of months. Only a hundred were sold!'

Izuku even sees a couple posters of Io around the room. Even a mini bloodbead tree on his desk.

Izuku:'There's no doubt about it...This man's definitely a serious All Might Fan! Even an Io fan!'

Nighteye:"This is very unpleasant. Please leave." *Nighteye turns around and starts to walk away.*

Izuku:"The vinegar riverbank incident..." *Nighteye stops.* "Are you not aware of that? A middle schooler whose Quirk could change water quality was drowning in a river, and All Might saved him. The drowning middle schooler changed the river into vinegar in his panic, and that got into All Might's eyes when he jumped on to save him. This is the face he showed at the interview right after that... His smile with narrowed eyes...I chose that face here!"

Nighteye:"Of course I know about that. It happened before I teamed up with him. They also mentioned it on the Yomiuri TV program, A Look Back."

Izuku:*Excited.*"Yes, that one! There weren't any villains involved, and it's boring compared to his other work, so it's not really talked about on the fan sites, but I like it... I especially liked the witty response he gave after being thanked by the boy..."

Nighteye:"'..my skin feels ten years younger.'"

Izuku:*Excited.* "That's it! I loved the 'my skin' part!"

Nighteye:*Looks to Izuku.* "You... Were you testing me?"

Izuku:*Puts his hands up.* "Oh, no! It's just that because All Might is a teacher at our school, it's hard to speak much about him." *Nighteye walks to Izuku.* "So I got too excited and couldn't help myself..."

Nighteye:"The crux of that incident was the family life of that middle schooler."

Mirio heads over to bubble Girl.

Izuku:"That's right! Whether you know that or not makes a big difference in the weight of the words!"

Mirio gets Bubble Girl out of the tickles machine.

Bubble Girl:"Mirio... what's with that kid...?"

Mirio:"He's one of my underclassmen, right?"

Few Minutes later.

Sir Nighteye is sitting at his desk and Izuku is standing in front of it.

Nighteye:"I see... So you want to do a work study here in order to become stronger?"

Izuku:"Yes, sir! Please allow it!"

Nighteye:"You have a contract from the school--"

Izuku:*Reaches into his bag.*"Of course I brought it with me!"

Nighteye:"You will  not interrupt me when I am speaking. "

Izuku:"No, sir!"

Izuku puts the paper on Sir Nighteye's desk.

Nighteye:"Once my stamp is on that paper, the work study contract will become official."

Izuku:*Bows.*"Yes, sir!"

Nighteye:"A hero work study is not like the weeklong internships of normal workplaces that you can participate in casually."

Izuku looks to Nighteye.

Nighteye:"You must work here for at least a month, and of course you will be paid. As a first year who still has a lot of classes, you will also rack up a lot of absences, and you will not be able to continue on this path on the same level as your classmates."

Izuku:"I understand that! But... if I match my pace with everyone else, then I can't be the top!"

Nighteye raises his stamp and swings down and misses the paper.

Izuku:"Um, you missed..."

 Nighteye raises his stamp and hits the table repedilty.

Nighteye:"Because I don't feel like stamping it."

Izuku:"What?!" 

Nighteye:"I understand the merits of working here for you. But what merit is there in my employing you? With two sidekicks and one work study student, this agency runs smoothly, so to add you... What benefit is there in that? How can you contribute to society? How can you be useful to others? In order to be acknowledged, you must make those things clear. All Might showed it with his power and humor. Io showed it with his calming presence and his ability to train good heroes. They have hope to those who lived in fear of crime. That's why the people acknowledge them."

Izuku:"How I can contribute to society...?"

Nighteye stands up and pushes in his chair.

Nighteye:"In order to show how you can benefit my company, you should show it with your actions, not your words." *Nighteye holds up his stamp.* "Three minutes. Try to take this seal from me in three minutes or less. If you want to work as a hero under me, then stamp the seal yourself."

Izuku:"H... Huh...?!"

Nighteye:"I'm saying that even though you don't possess a single funny bone, I'm giving you a chance. Well? Don't you think I'm a nice guy?"

Nighteye puts is hand out towards Bubble Girl and Mirio.

Nighteye:"Mirio and Bubble Girl, you two go outside."

Mirio/Bubble Girl:"Oh, right."

Nighteye:"That's not very energetic."

Mirio and Bubble girl salute.

Mirio/Bubble Girl:"Yes, Sir!"

They leave the room.

Nigheye:*Twirls the stamp in his hand.* "I will not attack you at all, and you may attack however you wish. It doesn't matter what happens to this room. Come and get it."

Izuku stands there and thinks for a few seconds then activates One For All: Full Cowling, and charges at Sir Nighteye.

Nighteye:"An approach from the front...is a feint leading to an overhead attack...and another attack. I can see everything."

Izuku lands in front of Nighteye. The then jumps at the stamp and Nighteye dodges him and Izuku jumps at Nighteye a few mores times but Sir Nighteye doges them all. Izuku lands at his backpack and he grabs it and throws it at Nighteye. Then Izuku charges and instead of hitting Nighteye he hits the door. Nighteye is standing off to the side.

Nighteye:"Hurry up and show me..." *He pushes his glasses up.* "...the merit in me hiring you...and your usefulness."

Izuku keeps trying to get the stamp.

Nighteye:"After one minute has passed, you back off briefly and become uneasy, coming to terms with the reality that you can't overcome my Foresight."

Present Mic:"Sir Nighteye! Quirk: Foresight!  After touching someone and locking eyes with them, for one hour, he can see the choices that person will make!"

Nighteye:"I did have some high expectations for you, but...You have enough power to become a symbol, but you're completely ordinary. In this time when villains are getting excited, and gloom is creeping in... In that case, he should have had let Mirio inherit One For All after all. Io should've been training him with the remaining time he has."

Izuku:"One For All... Togata...? Remaining time...?"

Nighteye:"I love and respect All Might even now. But I don't understand his selection of successor."

Izuku starts to think to much about what Nighteye said.

Nighteye:"Do you have time to think for so long? Or are you tired? Are you out of ideas? When Mirio said he wanted to introduce you to me, I was surprised. Shall I give it to you straight? There is someone more worthy to inherit One For All. I cannot acknowledge you."

Izuku gets angry and starts to zoom around the room like Gran Torino. 

Izuku:"I will definitely make you acknowledge me!"

Izuku jumps around the room some more. He lunges for the stamp and nighteye dodges. 

Nighteye:"Those movements... are like a degraded Gran Torino's."

Izuku jumps back and zooms around the room some more. 

Nighteye:"If the conditions are met, then whether it's one second, on minute, or one hour in the future, I can see what you're doing...wherever you're doing it.  By the way, in another two minutes, you'll be crouched on the floor without the seal or the contract."

Izuku lands behind Nighteye.

Nighteye:"You've looked worried this whole time. I thought it would've been the first thing All Might would teach you... Those who stand at the top should not show indecision or worry."

Izuku goes back to jumping around the room.

Nighteye:"Those who know this always act with a vision in mind. You must've been taught this countless times, but being tested now, you can't put it into practice, huh? You said you would have me acknowledge you, right?"

Nighteye dodges Izuku.

Nighteye:"The more I watch you, the more I can't find a reason why it has to be you."

Izuku:"They said I could do it!"

Nighteye:"Who? One of the riffraff?"

Izuku:"The greatest Heroes!" 

Izuku slides past Nighteye and grabs a bookshelf and spins it around and books go flying through the air.

Izuku:"Sorry! You said it doesn't matter what happens to this room, right?"

Izuku runs at Nighteye, going through the mess of books and paper. He lunges at the stamp.

Izuku:"I am All Might's and Io's disciple!"

Nighteye doges Izuku.

Nighteye:"That doesn't change what I see."

Izuku:"I'm not done yet!"

Izuku crashes into the wall, face first, next to the 10th  anniversary All Might poster. Then he slides to the ground leaving a thin line of blood on the wall.

Izuku:"N-Not..."

Nighteye:"It's over."

Izuku:"Not yet!"

Nighteye:"It's been three minutes. You're All Might's and Io's disciple? I'm flabbergasted. You had one plan that didn't work out, and it made you that clumsy and exhausted."

Izuku:"It's not that I'm exhausted..."

Nighteye:"Then, was that a mistake?"

Izuku:"I was about to step on the tapestry that wasn't for sale celebrating All Might's tenth anniversary as a hero."

Nighteye looks at the wall around the posters and sees none of them have footprints on them. 

Mirio and Bubble girl burst into the room.

Mirio:"Excuse us!"

Bubble Girl:"Are you finished? There was a loud bang at the end..."

Nighteye looks to Mirio.

Nighteye:"I'll take him, Mirio."

Mirio:"All right!"

Izuku looks up in surprise at Sir Nighteye.

Izuku:"What?! Why? I couldn't do anything you asked me to!"

Nighteye:"I told you to take the seal and stamp it yourself, but I didn't say that you'd be rejected if you couldn't do it.

Izuku:"But..."

Mirio walks to Izuku.

Mirio:"Midoriya, you did it!" *He looks at Sir Nighteye.* "Sir, you laughed, right?"

Nighteye:*Ignore Mirio.* "I'd already decided to take you on when I heard you were coming. I also knew that you weren't completely useless. Io told me some of the things you have accomplished. But I hadn't accepted it. Right now, with the symbol gone, the people want not a dim light, but a dazzling one." *Nighteye walks to Izuku.* "Io's light is slowly fading. Even if it goes against All Might's will, I'll make you realize who is the most worthy of that power right now by having you work alongside the pros."

Nighteye drops the stamp into Izuku's hand and Izuku stamps his contract.

Izuku:"I look forward to working with you."

Later at Class 1-A dorms.

Ochaco:"You found a place to do your work study at! That's great, Deku!"

Mina:"Wow!"

Tenya:"Congrats, Midoriya."

Tenya holds out a hand.

Izuku:*Grabs Tenya's hand and shakes it.* "Thanks."

Tenya:"I can't be idle, either."

Denki:"But man, you're rally amazing, Midoriya."

Sero:"Yeah, I mean, you'll be working at Sir Nighteye's agency!"

Kirishima:"You were recommended by Togata?"

Sato:"Good job!"

Izuku chuckles nervously. 

The camera moves over to Shoto and Bakugo, who both are standing off to the side.

Shoto:"The distance between us has widened again... We need to catch up as soon as possible."

Bakugo scoffs.

Then the camera moves back over to the group.

Ochaco:"The school said Hunhead hasn't had enough interns, so I can't go there."

Tsuyu:"Same here. I wanted to go to Selkie's but..."

Kirishima:"Fourth Kind doesn't even take work studies...."

Sero:"I mean, the threshold's been set pretty high..."

Denki:"Yeah, we can only ask pros with good track records who'll take work study students... I was going to try Io's but he can't take anyone."

Ojiro:"It can't be helped. Unlike the internships, we'll be directly involved, so if anything happens..."

Aizawa:"it becomes a problem of who's responsible on the pro side."

The students look to Aizawa, who just entered the dorms.

Denki:"Mr. Aizawa!"

Aizawa:"Pros who accept students even after knowing the risks are the real thing. Tokoyami, you've got an invitation for a work study from one of those real pros. It's from Hawks, who works in Kyushu."

Denki:"Hawks?!"

Sero:"Ranked third in the hero ranking?! Wow!"

Sato:"Good job!"

Aizawa:"What will you do, Tokoyami?"

Tokoyami:"I respectfully accept."

Aizawa:"Very well. I'll give you the work study paperwork later. Let me know when you'll be going to Kyushu. I'll authorize your absences for those days."

Shoji:"Isn't that great, Tokoyami?"

Tokoyami:"I am most humbly pleased."

The camera moves back over to Shoto and Bakugo.

Shoto:"We need to catch up as soon as possible."

Bakugo:*Angry.* "Stop saying that!"

The camera moves back over to the group.

Aizawa:"Also, Kirishima, Amajiki from the Big Three wants to see you."

Kirishima:*Points to himself.* "He wants to see me?"

Aizawa:"Also, Hado wants to talk to Uraraka and Asui. Go see them tomorrow or something and hear them out. That's all."

Aizawa walks out of the droms.

Kirishima:"Amajiki... I wonder what he wants..."

Tsuyu:"You think it's about the work studies?"

Ochaco:"No way! If so, I'm getting my hopes up."

Kirishima:"I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm going to the third years' dorm right now!" *Kirishima heads out of the dorms.*

Tsuyu:"Ochaco, let's go, too." *She and Ochaco stand up.*

Ochaco:"Yeah!"

Tsuyu and Ochaco run out of the dorm and the camera moves back to Shoto and Bakugo.

Shoto:"We need to catch up as--"
Bakugo:*Angry*"Shut up!"

The camera moves back to the group.

Denki:"Uraraka and the others sure are lucky."

Sero:"Let's do our best, too!"

Mineta:"Who cares about work studies?" *Mineta is staring at Mina's boobs.*

Mineta:"Even if first years like us go, we'll just be made to run errands and stuff."

Denki:"That was what happened at your internship, right?"

Mineta:*Freaking out.* "Don't remind me of my dark past!"

The students laugh.

Later the next day.

Izuku, Mirio, and Bubble Girl are in Sir Nighteye's office, all in hero costumes.

Nighteye:"Today, we will be doing patrols and surveillance. We'll split up into two groups with me and Bubble Girl, and Mirio and Midoriya."

Izuku:"Surveillance?"

Bubble Girl:"Nighteye Agency is currently working on a secret investigation, with Io helping us."

Nighteye:"Shie Hassaikai is a small designated villain group."

Nighteye shows them a file and a picture of Overhaul.

Nighteye:"Its young head... in other words, the number two, Chisaki, has started showing strange actions. His plague mask is his trademark."

Izuku:"That mask's scary! But designated villain groups are under the surveillance of the police," *He picks up the photo.* "So they usually seem pretty obedient."

Bubble Girl:"It's because there was a big break up once in the past. But this Chisaki guy's starting to gather them again for some reason. Recently, he's even made contact with the League of Villains. The details are unclear, though."

Izuku:"The League of Villains...?!"

Izuku thinks back on all the moments with the League of Villains.

Nighteye:"But we haven't been able to get any proof that he's planning anything criminal. Because of that, the Hassaikai is a gray close to black, and we cannot treat them like villains. What we're after is their tail. Be careful not to let them suspect anything. Also if you see Io out there, don't bother him. He's been working tirelessly for the past couple weeks on this case."

Mirio/Izuku/Bubble Girl:"Yes, Sir!"
