He woke up staring at his interface still floating in mid air and all the new notification pop ups.

There really wasn't any deep thought into it when I wrote them, I just wanted to separate points for stats that increase the denominators of the stats like health, stamina, and magic from the regular Strength, agility, willpower...etc. Stats.

But why exactly? Don't you think that is a little excessive when the stats that increase his ability should influence his hp, mp, and sp pools? Sure, you would have to decide on a simple formula on how much a pool increase for every relevant stat increase, but that isn't hard.
