Adeline, or as she was now known as Angelica, sat in the library pouring over several books of magic
She sat on a comfortable chair, dressed in a spotless white dress with gold trimmings, drinking herbal tea
As she read, she compared notes with the memories of Adeline, Florencia, Serena and even Ryania, who she shared a mind link to, for different perspectives of what she was reading
As a veela that demonstrated her prowess to the other mages in the Magic Guild, she was instantly accepted due to her mastery of nature, elements, the weather and mental magics that surpassed most of the top mages bar those at the very tip of the Magic Guild
Mages were ranked in a different way than adventurers. Mages ranked from 1st circle to the current peak of 7th circle
Angelina was automatically graded to the 6th circle, and was automatically given an A Rank in the Adventurer Guild because of this
There were only 3 people in the guild that were rated 7 circles, namely the Guildmaster Ageron, the principal of the Magic Academy Mystra and the Royal Magician Dorian. Many of the higher ranked mages were only 5th or 6th circle.
It was rumored that Queen Alghenna, the wife of King Gregoras was possibly a mage of the 7th circle as well. She was a well respected mage of the 5th circle when she adventured with King Gregoras, back when he was disguised as Rohawk and that was when they fell in love
Based on this magic power scale, Angelica presumed that a being such as Elderich would possibly be around 7th circle too
Furthermore, there was rumors that there were other powerful beings that could possibly be beyond 7th circle, such as dragons with their dragon magics, and some demons, especially the Demon Lord
Compared to the mages, her memories of the veela, the succubus and the vampire was filled with centuries of experiences. Arguably she had more years of doing magic than any of the mages here.
But the mages had a systematic way of classifying and learning magic, while Angelina's magics were all racial magics of the individual ladies' races
By learning of the classification and ways of learning magic, Angelina was able to solidify her knowledge and develop them consciously, rather than doing magic by instinct and feel.
With her body filled with her combined lifeforce, she had more mana than all the other mages. Arguably, her mana reserves were comparable to that of a dragon!
The Magic Guildmaster Ageron walked in and greeted her. After joining the guild and her quick rise to recognition, Ageron has been treating Angelica like his daughter that he never had
This was funny to Angelica, considering that Adeline herself was already infamous as the Enchantress of Fairy Forest, when the guild was still in it's infancy
Of course she could not tell him that. Furthermore, Michael's existence to the nymphs was arguably even worse, having treated them like his young lovers when actually they have been around since mankind started evolving from the sea.
"Greetings Guildmaster. What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" Angelica smiled, rising from her chair as he entered
"I told you to just call me Ageron" he said as he gave her a hug
"King Gregoras has a visiting guest, and old friend from far away that is visiting. He would like to meet the best young mage we have and so I instantly thought of you" Ageron said with a smile
"I will be glad to meet the King. But why do I get the feeling that this is not a simple meeting with the King?" Angelica asked
"Ah... you see.. this friend of his, is rather boastful. He keeps boasting that his granddaughter will be able to best any young mage of this generation. And I am not doubting her abilities as she is rumored to be nearly as powerful as him in his prime!
However when the King told me about this, I instantly thought of you! Since you've joined us, you've already bested several of our 6th Circle mages, and no doubt would be able to give some of us 7th Circles a run for our money, if we didn't play a few tricks to cheat" he laughed
"Oh! So a spar! I'm always keen and ready" Angelica smiled. Whoever this was, she was confident on winning after consolidating her magical abilities

"Greetings, Your Majesties. My name is Angelica" she curtsied as she met King Gregoras and Queen Alghenna in the throne room
"So you are Angelica! Ageron could not stop talking about you. Mystra has been complaining that she should have gotten you first if you applied to the Academy before the Guild" King Gregoras said
Angelica bowed in reply
"You are as beautiful as they say. They call you... the Saintess?" Queen Alghenna asked
"Yes, Your Majesty" Angelica replied
"And you are a warrior mage?" she asked again
"Yes, Your Majesty" Angelica replied again
"I would love to spar with you. I was called the Ice Queen in my youth" Queen Alghenna said
"I am at your service" Angelica replied
"Then, let us play for a while" she suddenly rose and took up a sword by King Gregoras' side
"Hey..using Dragondeath is not fair" King Gregoras said
"I'm just playing, dear. I won't hurt her" the Queen said as she walked down the steps, unsheathing the legendary sword
"But you wear her out before she spars with..." King Gregoras said
"It's only a simple spar, dear. I want to make sure she is our very best to represent our nation. En Garde!" she said as she charged at Angelica
"The Queen is so hotheaded. How fun" Angelica thought to herself as she smiled and a staff grew out of nowhere in her hand
She deflected the Queen's strike with the staff, but to her surprise, the staff was cut instantly by Dragondeath!
Angelica conjured both a gust of wind and a shield to deflect and create distance between her and Queen Alghenna
"You don't have to be so gentle with me, dear. Give me your best" Queen Alghenna said as she conjured ice spears and shot them at Angelica
Angelica deflected them and vines grew out of the ground to trap Queen Alghenna.
These were vines created using her nature magic, not those of the alraune in her ass, so they weren't as strong or as powerful
She cut through them with Dragondeath and shot more ice spears at Angelica who created a shield to block
"I hear you can control all the elements! Show me what you've got" the Queen smiled as the air started to freeze and the guards started moving further back
The Royal Mage Dorian appeared by the King's side and conjured a shield to protect both him and King, while Ageron protected the guards in the room
In an instant, the whole room froze over as Angelica stood frozen in a block of ice in the middle of the room
"I have to say, I think you need more battle experience. But you're good!" Queen Alghenna smiled and gloated at the frozen Angelica in the middle of the room
"You think so?" a voice suddenly said as a mist formed behind Queen Alghenna and Angelica appeared behind her, holding a sword to her throat
"But.. how?" Queen Alghenna asked, seeing Angelica behind her and the frozen Angelica in the ice in front of her
"Well, I also play around with ice" Angelica said as she waved and the ice with her doppelganger inside it melted to nothingness
Ageron smiled and gloated as King Gregoras laughed
Queen Alghenna surrendered and melted all the ice around them. The mock battle was over
"You have a fight already? Don't tell me someone else is also issuing a challenge?" a voice suddenly said as two people entered the hall
"Haha. My friend! My wife was itching for a spar with Ageron's chosen representative! We are ready for your challenge!" King Gregoras said
Angelica looked at the two that entered and her eyes opened and was shocked
Elderich opened his arms to give King Gregoras a hug and kissed Queen Alghenna's hand gracefully
But behind him, stood Ryania!
