Michael "The Punisher" Mason, walked out of the desert of Afghanistan, covered in sand that stuck on this body from the blood that he reaped on the enemy.

He was sent on a secret mission, to hunt down terrorist cells and put the fear of God into them wherever he goes.

But he was shocked to see that upon his return to the base, that it was completely empty! Not a soul was in sight!

Suddenly, there were shots in the air, and when he looked from behind a corner, he saw the terrorists shooting their machine guns into the air, seemingly celebrating their victory over the infidels!

Not knowing that the United States had pulled out, Michael was shocked and angry, thinking that the enemy had killed his team mates and went on a rampage!

The base went from a scene of celebration by the Jihadists, into a scene from hell like they've never seen!

In secret, Michael had armed all the bombs, turned all the firearms he could find into booby traps, turned all the fuel for the planes and vehicles into a gigantic bomb!

Running as fast as he could as the Jihadists triggered the bombs, Michael ran back into the desert

The base exploded with a gigantic explosion, vaporizing everybody and destroying all the weapons and munitions there

However, Michael could not outrun the blast as the concussive force shot out for tens of kilometers, deafening everyone in the nearby city, shattering glass, tearing eardrums and causing damage as much as a natural disaster could!

The following firestorm wiped out the whole city!

Michael lay on the ground, ears bleeding and many of his bones shattered from the initial concussive blast. Is this how it ends?

He would never be able to retire with his pension, never meet a girl to marry, never have a family.

He guessed, this was the end for such a mass murderer like himself. No happy ending for him.

He closed his eyes as he saw the fireball coming from the base engulf him!

Suddenly, he opened his eyes and found that he was alive! Except... this wasn't Afghanistan!

He still had his army gear on, covered in sand and dried blood, and the weapons he had on him!

But all around him were people dressed in midevil clothes, and there were several out of place men getting up next to him!

"Welcome heroes! You are the greatest heroes of your times. We summoned you here in our time of need!" a bearded man said, wearing a crown, as he announced from his throne!
