As they all moved towards whatever their objective was, Koto decided to ask a question,

"Where, exactly are we going?" Kokoro halted and turned to Koto,

"I thought you knew where we were going." Koto had a blank face,

"Then why were you leading us?" 

"I um.. I'm sorry." Koto sighed,

"It's fine, let's just plan out where to go. We're going to grind for a long time until the next update." They discussed over where to go next, and decided on the Desolate Woods. 

"So you're telling me, that not only can Touyo act as a regular player, but she can also act as a guide?"  

"Yup. I'm amazing right?" Touyo was waiting for her piece of praise, 

"Yeah, you are the most amazing person I've ever met." Kokoro patted Touyo on the head, 

"Will you guide us to the Desolate Woods now?"

"Of course, just follow me." Touyo then took charge of the group, and started heading in the direction of the Desolate Woods. 

"Do players have any information on the Desolate Woods?" Koto asked Kokoro with curiosity,

"Some people yeah. I read a post about someone entering the woods at level 10, and they saw ghostly spirits, desperate trees, blood sucking fleas, and more. And because of such enemies, they got one shotted." [Of course they would, entering the Desolate Woods at such a low level.] After walking for two hours, the group finally reached the Desolate Woods. The woods were covered with some sort of miasma, that made the woods have an ominous and eerie feel to it. [I know that it was called the Desolate Woods, but I didn't expect that it would be this desolate.]

"Well team, you ready to grind levels?" Kokoro asked with enthusiasm. Touyo responded with the same amount of enthusiasm, but Koto was observing Kokoro closely. 

"Alright, let's just head in. I'll go first though, since I'm a higher level." Koto then walked in front of the group and signaled for them to follow. They did as Koto signaled and walked in right after him, watching for anything. After entering, they didn't encounter a single monster. [Weird, there should at least be one monster.]

"Don't you think this is weird. There's not a single monster to be found, and here I thought we would fight some trees." Just as Koto said that, there was a rumble, and a shake. The trees started falling, one after another. [This situation seems very familiar, it seems the author has ran out of ideas.] The group got into a battle position. After preparing for the incoming enemy, the monster finally appeared.

"Grrr" The monster that appeared was some sort of tree monster, it had glowing red eyes, a log as its main body, and had its tree branches as its legs and arms. Its name appeared, Pendula. [This should be fine, it's only one enemy.] Then the blood sucking fleas, ghostly spirits, and some very desperate trees appeared from all sides. [Now this isn't very good.] They all formed a triangle, back to back, protecting each other.

"Now I know this isn't a very celebratory situation, but you all should know what to do." Kokoro and Touyo nodded their heads, and prepared for a kill fest. Koto activated gentle step, and aura blade. [Here's a new trick I thought of.] Instead of the blue transparent mana covering Kuroshi, it was now like a constant flux between the elements. Switching between fire, water, wind, and ground. 

"Come at me!" The Pendula charged at Koto, straight on. 

"Elegant flow." Koto dodged the attack, but activated another skill. He spun around the Pendula, as elegant as a ballerina dancer performing. He continuously dealt damage as he spun, however Koto knew this wouldn't do much damage. [It's not as tough as the spider, but I don't know too much about it and should be careful.] He canceled Elegant Flow, jumped up behind the Pendula, and stabbed it in the torso. *-51 HP* Koto repeated this process, with some help from Kokoro or Touyo. He slowly chipped away at the Pendula's HP to get to less than 25%.

"It's almost done, we can do this!" Just then, a raspy voice came from all directions in the forest.

"You think that this is all. This is just the beginning, Pendula activate your booster." The Pendula under the command of the person, used the booster. The Pendula turned from a normal size tree, to almost the size of the Great Wolf. [Oh my, I'm so tired of this sh*t. Let me guess, it got a boost on pretty much all its stats.]

"See if you can beat this now, I'll come back to collect your corpses." The raspy voice started cackling, getting further and further away.
