If there's one thing I know about humans or intelligent races, it's that they will always die because of their arrogance or overconfidence.

At this point everything had changed.

The naive old rabbits grew taller and thinner.

His most beautiful features, after using all my resources repeatedly.

Although my tree warriors were angry, I ignored them.

At least they remove the excess magic in my body.

My influence is not only in them but in many small animals that eat my fruits and hide from those giant monsters that fight every moment.

Because my roots spread out from the center, all the vegetation became part of my body.

Even the bottom of the sea.

That made me look at those hidden giants and thank my caution to never explore the ocean.

But in the calm that I was, I watched as the admiration turned into greed and they no longer expected me to drop my fruits.

They ignored the warning of my guardians, they climbed the tree and even broke my branches.

In the years that passed my absorption was faster and my understanding deeper.

My soul was stronger.

Then the old feeling returned.

My body stretched again and my branches grew thicker as the flowers appeared in number.

The guardians grew with me and became stronger.

So the rabbits split up.

Some wanted to destroy me and others to protect me.

In the end they ended up escaping swearing revenge while the other rabbits looked at me with admiration.

I decided to give them a gift.

Then it causes something irreversible in the world.

My roots came out of the ground and rolled up a rabbit scaring the others.

But when the root hid itself again, an incredible and luminous being appeared.

Everyone celebrated and I chose a few more before falling asleep.

When I woke up I found a strange world.

The ones I chose multiplied and stayed close to me.

The others were driven out of the forest.

Could it be that all intelligent beings are selfish?

Do you think you are the center of the world?

That's me.

The one that has spread its roots to the deepest caves.

Years passed, the mountains stopped moving, and the giant monsters had died.

The earthquakes appeared again.

The storms lasted for weeks and the hurricane winds destroyed everything created.

But those close to me survived intact.

They all used my leaves, ate my fruits, drank my sap.

And so the meeting of animals and intelligent beings ended, they all went their separate ways.

Only the once rabbits stayed close to me.

One of them approached me slowly and rested his head on my trunk.

His clothes were worn, he didn't have the shine of the others and he looked weak.

But I heard his voice deep inside of me.

"...how to survive... After the disaster everything went back to the way it was before.

Why give gifts only to them?

Is there really a difference between us and they are more perfect?

Are they the only ones worth living with you?

Why don't you ever help when we beg you?

What should we do against the Chosen?"

It was the first time in many years that he had heard a voice.

Try to be as smooth as possible and correct my mistake.

"I never gave them privileges..."

When he heard my voice his eyes widened and he let out a cry of disbelief.

That alerted the others and they tried to chase him away.

How annoying.

The roots came out of the ground and surrounded him to protect him.

"...I gave them my fruit, my leaves, my sap, helping them to survive while seeing something interesting.

My limit is not your forest, it is all the forests, all the flowers, all the grass on earth and all the flora in the depths of the oceans.

I am the world

From its center to the top of the sky"

After that I released him as he was and he said everything in his strange language.

Many cried and asked for forgiveness.

The barriers were broken.

That man became a leader.

He always responded with long speeches.

He always made it clear my greatness and who he was.

When I reacted I realized something else.

He did not absorb or assimilate this planet.

He assimilated me.
