I was just a normal girl, my name is Aireen I am a filipino woman, life here wasn't that good but I lived a happy life I was unmarried and had 2 kids, the story is complicated but let's just get back to my work place, I work in a company with mostly American employees, things mostly sucked around here there was almost no free time in this company becouse our boss Kent he pays us high but is ruthless when it comes to working, the company is for news article and we chose what we publish, thing is that I barely manage to get by with 2 kids.
"Work now everyone don't slack off"-I heard my boss say in his typical jerk fashion
"We are doing our best you jerk"-I retorted
"That is what I want to hear"-He replied
One of my work mates aproached me in a break(the only break)
"Wooo you have the courage to talk back to him?"-She said while sipping some coffee
"Well yes he works us so hard with all the articles and I hate it"-I was then taking a look at a news article from an older paper, and it shown something:'Unknown animal attack or cult intervention police is investigating'
"Huh"-I glanced at the news paper in surprise
"Wellwelll don't rush girls, you should not go there"-My boss said while standing behind me
"Why?"-My colleague questioned
"Why do I keep you overnight both male and females is becouse of this I would let you go if I knew it was safe"-Kent told us in a worried tone
"Well it is a opportunity for our newspaper"-I replied
"No it is to dangerous for anyone to go"-Kent replied
We all get back to work and all of the sudden we can hear a low and muffled screaming, of a man.
My boss came near the middle and spoke for us to have a meeting right now, all of us employees gone in the meeting room and the door, a reinforced steel door closed behind us.
"In this meeting we will be discussing the cult incidents that happened in this area, you have some free time while this clear up a month or so.You are free now to add or comment on this"-Kent announcement made everyone jump up with happiness
"We will work from home then, we will be closer to our loved ones"-Another work colegue replied to him
"Try to minimize outside contact becouse things get ugly at night especially"-Kent added
Well all of us left once our shift ended in the morning.I got home to my children.I saw both of them barely getting awake
"Momy, you are home, we missed you"-Both of them hugged me
"Well well guess who needs to go to school today, you only have 1 day left till thr holiday so get ready to dress"-I was searching for some of they're clothes since they were just 4 years old and just woke up.I found they're uniform and dressed them up and they were off to school.I just had rested before I will eat.
In the dream
"Mom!"-My kids shouted
"Stay there!"-I shouted while trying to get to them, the more I ran ,the bigger the distance got and the more intense the screaming got, wait screaming, there was no screaming before, everything was getting darker and darker until, everything went black, my kids were no in front of me and a towering black creature was standing there towering above them, then I woke up.
Everything around me was fine I only slept for 3 hours, I got up, gone to the bathroom looked in the mirror and saw my face a wrinkled face, with black hair and my eyes my ocean blue eyes were getting red, I was getting older I was 20 after all but I feel like 50.Most of my thoughts now are about my life, I reflected a lot, my children, they're father who abandoned them, how could he do that?My job, why didn't my boss want me to go?What was that sound back then?I keep wondering about this world, I think there are some things science can't explain.I gotta cook some food for my kids, what to make I did not know but I just made some pancakes.I slept till they had come back from Kindergarten(4 years), I have a month of free time after all.
"Mom"-My kids were shouting for me to wake up, huggin me in the process
"Welcome back home you 2"-I pat them on the head
"Let's go to the kitchen I made pancakes for you two"
They have ate the pancakes and played till falling asleep.The night, everything was quiet, I hear the same scream again but this time a scream of a woman, I hear a window break in the kitchen, I tried calling the police but I got knocked out.I woke up in a room being held down by people, I saw a black baby chicken , the last thing I remember is that the black baby chicken was showed down my throat.
I woke up in the middle of the street, I saw 2 men aproaching I knew where I wad but I did not knew who the men were
"What do you have here"-The man begun to speak
"None of your business"-I replied to them
The man grabbed me by my neck and pinned me against a wall, they were smiling and I gor panicked, my whole body turned black, claws begun to grow my teeth begun to get sharper and my power increased, I could overpowered them, and slashed them across the face, I attacked further till I injured them all and headed to my home, as I had got unbelivable speed, I found my house busted, man standing in front of my children, I don't know but charged him head on, and I was towering over my children, I was the monster in my dream
"Steady now lady"-The man spoke
"Do not touch my children"-I managed to speak as I turned back into a human
"I am Preston, do not worry about them, I came here to search for a rogue Aswang"-Preston replied
"Aswang?"-I begun to say in a frightened tone
"You are not out of control, you can learn better control in the Hunters organization"-Preston handed me a postcard
"Now you better dodge"-Preston said while I sae his eyes getting red and turning into a wolf, a big wolf for that matter, I dodged him and I took my kids with me, I saw Preston jumping on the neck of an Aswang I was self concious of what I had became...........Preston standing near me he grabbed me and my kids
"Neither of you is safe here"-Preston shouted while rushing to a car.
"From now on you will live somewhere else and work as a Hunter, you will have to go on some hunts, we will introduce you later to the organization"-He later added
As we were speeding down the road I feel asleep near my children.
