"Sora POV"
BOOM
Sora: what the hell was that?
Aika: how am I supposed to know?
They kept walking
They heard a low growl
They grabbed their pistols and aimed as they slowly walked towards the noise
When they got there they both stood on opposite sides of the wall
Sora peeked the corner to see a bat like creature, clawed feet, long nails, 6 eyes and fangs and it was eating something
Aika: what the hell is that thing
She said with a whisper
Sora: I've seen a few before, they're dangerous so let's sneak around him
Sora and Aika cautiously walked around it
When they were beside it they saw what it was eating
A hunter
Aika nearly puked
Sora put her hand over Aika's mouth and put her hand to her lips in a shushing motion
They continued walking and finally got out of the room with the thing
They entered another room to see Argus
They aimed their guns and Argus slowly turned around
Argus: I figured there'd be more of you, I guess we can't all survive
Sora: they're perfectly fine
Argus: I'm sure you have many questions so just rattle them off before we fight
Sora and Aika looked at each other as if to say "is he serious?"
Sora shot at Argus but he grabbed the bullet before it hit him
Argus: I'm a genius scientist, I modified my body to be superior, you cannot beat me
Sora: fuck
"Macov POV"
Macov on the brink of death dragged himself out of the rubble to see Nagaki standing in front of him
Macov stood up
Nagaki: your not fit to fight anymore
Macov: what do ya mean?
Nagaki put his blade up to Macov's neck
Macov: oh I see how it is
Nagaki: you've caused nothing but issues
Macov: I hope Seiji chops your head off
Nagaki: we'll see about that
Nagaki cut off Macov's head with one swift motion
"Sora POV"
Argus was beating Sora and Aika with ease
Even with Sora's fast reaction speed and Aika shooting at him he was too much for them
Aika realized he had a purple disk looking thing on his back
She shot at it and one of the bullets grazed Argus as he turned
He slowed down for a few seconds which was enough time for Sora to kick him in the balls
Argus: DAMNIT
Aika kicked him in the face and he went flying towards a wall
Aika helped Sora up
Aika: if we don't kill him we die
Sora: makes sense
Argus got up and quickly sped towards them and drop kicked Aika
Sora blocked as she was kicked away by Argus
Argus: I WILL KILL YOU
Argus got on top of Aika and started punching her
As he was doing that Sora got behind him and shot the speed modification
The bullet hit his spine and paralyzed him from the neck down
Argus: NO
Sora and Aika had the same idea
They dragged Argus back into the room with the creature
Sora: here's lunch
They threw Argus at the creature and it chowed down killing him instantly
Sora and Aika walked back to see Ku cradling Ko's dead body
Sora gasped
Magi: it happened while you two were gone. We were attacked by these... these creatures
"Flashback"
About 10 minutes before Sora and Aika came back the rest of the group heard noises
A low growling sound could be heard
Out of nowhere a huge tendril stabbed through Ko's chest
Ku: KO
Magi: SHOOT IT
They all opened fire and within seconds the creature was dead
Ku was holding Ko
Ku: no no no no no
Ko: I... I'm done for
Ku: no your not your gonna live Ko
Ko looked at Ku
Ko: that's not... true
Ku: PLEASE
Ko slowly drifted out of consciousness until he passed
Ku just sat there with Ko's body in his hands crying
Magi kneeled down beside Ku
Magi: Ku... I'm so sorry
Ku didn't respond, he just continued to silently sob
"Present time"
Sora tried to comfort Ku but Ku pulled out a gun and yelled
Ku: THIS IS YOUR FUCKING FAULT
Sora backed up
Ku: MAYBE IF YOU TWO COULD STOP BITCHING ALL THE TIME WE WOULD'VE BEEN ALL ABLE TO GO IN AND THIS NEVER WOULD'VE HAPPENED
Magi: calm down Ku, let's just all relax
Ku: AND YOU MAGI IF YOU HADN'T SENT THEM IN ALONE HE WOULDN'T HAVE DIED
Magi: do you really think Ko would want you to do this
Ku: DON'T FUCKING TELL ME WHAT KO WOULD AND WOULDN'T HAVE FUCKING WANTED
Magi slowly inched her way towards Ku
Magi: please, just relax. We all understand your anger
Ku put the gun to his temple
Xav: WOAH WOAH WOAH RELAX
Sora: KU DON'T DO IT
Magi: KO WOULDN'T WANT THIS
everyone started talking over each other trying to convince Ku not to shoot himself
Ku: AGHHHHHHHHH
Ku threw the gun against the wall and silently sobbed
Everyone relaxed and stopped talking
Ku: I'm a liability at this point. Just go
Sora sat down beside him and hugged him
Ku pushed her off
Ku: just go
Seiji: he's right. As much as I hate to admit it he's right
Magi: do you really want us to go?
Ku: yeah, it's better for the group. And I just need some alone time
Magi: so we'll meet you outside?
Ku: yeah
The group and the other hunters that followed walked out back to the place that Pierson said the plan at
They saw only Zenez there sitting by a water fountain and he was just staring at the ground
"Zenez POV"
Sora: ZENEZ
Sora ran up and hugged him
Zenez didn't hug back
Sora: whats wrong? Where's Pierson and the others
Zenez looked up at Sora
Magi: where's Aku
Zenez didn't answer
Magi: WHERES AKU ZENEZ
Zenez: I don't know if he made it out or not
Magi: what the fuck do you mean you were with him the entire time
Zenez: the spider sucked us in and we had to find a good spot. Bruno was thrown at Pierson and the remote detonator Flew off the edge. Aku caused a distraction so we could get passed and Unji stayed with Pierson till the end.
By this point hunters were finishing off the last of the lions, gorillas and bears
Magi: so Aku is...
Zenez: I don't know
Magi sat down on a bench and just stared at the ground
Zenez: it seems like you guys had some casualties also. A majority of the hunters are gone including Ku and Ko
Sora sat down beside Zenez
Sora: Ko is gone and Ku's taking some time to himself
Seiji: I have to find Nagaki and finish this endless fued
Zenez: good luck
Seiji ran off
The other hunters were hugging their loved ones
Bunkers filled with survivors were opened and people came out happy to be alive
Zenez: this was so fucked from the beginning
Kogu: ZENEZ
Kogu came crawling with one foot completely gone and his arm was utterly crushed
Blood was oozing down the left side of his face and he was about to die
Zenez walked over to him
Zenez: I think you've lost Kogu. Without you and the other kings the countless abnormals have no directions. It's just a matter of time till they all die out
Kogu: I have one last trump card
A giant 25 foot tall all black creature with purple eyes, a huge sword, horns and claws jumped down and crashed into the floor sending people flying
The hunters quickly started escorting people into the bunkers as the creature just stared at them with a menacing look
The main group got ready to fight
Just then Aku came flying down on top of the creature and started punching it
Magi: Aku?
He jumped off and got next to the main group
Zenez: I thought you died
Aku: I quickly lost them and found an escape as the thing exploded
Zenez and Aku looked up at a huge building to see Oska looking down at them
Zenez: can you guys handle this guy?
Sora: I think so
Zenez: good, me and Aku have some unfinished business
